Solved

Hi i am very new to all stm32, i have some project that i want to move to stm32 mcus. I would like to know if i have a nucleo board that is not in the list of selections that exist in designer, or i have selected an mcu that a dev board does not exist at all like H755ZI what should i select as board. Also about screens until now i have used 2 controllers ili9488 and RA8875 for larger resolution, how this can be used since the discovery boards have other displays that do not specify what they are, and how all these things can be fixed with touchgfx. Is there any guide that explains these cases that i could read?

I am using STM32F407 and STM32F767ZI on Nucleo and other boards. My configuration is a simple potentiometer as voltage divider (200K or 1K) to generate the analog input voltage.Even with stable voltage on the ADC input (verified with my fluke 117 & Picoscope 5000, 2,000V, delta < 5mV), the values read on the ADC vary over ranges of about 100mV (0,117mV). My question: 1) What is a typical accuracy one can expect on such a simple configuration.2) What is the major contributor to this inaccuracy, and what can be done about it.Note:Detailed analysis added as an attachement.

I'm using `rfalListenStart` in ST25RFAL002 with ST25R3916 to emulate an ISO 14443 Type A card with 10 bytes long UID. I've noticed that `rfalNfcDiscover` can work with 10 bytes long UID, but `rfalListenStart` cannot as the code goes: switch(confA->nfcidLen) {   case RFAL_LM_NFCID_LEN_04:   st25r3916ChangeRegisterBits(   ST25R3916_REG_AUX, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_mask, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_4bytes);   break;     case RFAL_LM_NFCID_LEN_07:   st25r3916ChangeRegisterBits(   ST25R3916_REG_AUX, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_mask, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_7bytes);   break;     default:   return ERR_PARAM;   }and the Auxiliary definition register in the datasheet shows only 4 bytes/7 bytes/RFU are available. I'm a little confused, is there some limitation on emulating 10 bytes long UID, or i'm misusing it? :flushed_face:

I don't find any information about what pins to use for CAN, so I'm guessing it doesn't, but I'd like to be sure. I have a "blackpill v3" board.If not, what is a commonly used CAN controller IC?

Does anybody have a step-by-step description how to import the STM32F3348-Discovery_Demo project - distributed in the firmware package of the Discovery board - into STM32CubeIDE?

I've just upgraded to MX6.8.0 and IDE1.12.0. I get this notice when loading a new application or example program. It doesn't affect anything and choosing OK let's everything proceed, but I'd like to get rid of the notice and find out where it's getting the "../../../../.." path.Thanks,TJM

Hello,We are going to use LIS2DE12TR accelerometer, in our ultra low power device, to wake on motion. Here is schematic for LIS2DE12TR, Our requirement :1) ultra low power consumption2) Wake MCU on Motion by INT_1 Pin Below are queries regarding schematic:1) What should be value of R48 and R49.2) Is schematic is ok?Thank You

All the variables that assign their value to the variable "alt" map to the allias of bits of IDR registers. I am using nucleo-144 stm32f439zi. Everything is wired correctly and my main prob

Beside the MB1791 BOM doubt, there is PCB Layer Stack doubt too.About MB1791 PCB & Gerber Files, there is no Signal copper layout in the Middle Layer-1 (G1 Layer) & Middle Layer-2 (G2 Layer). Why the setting applied 4-layers PCB instead of 2-layers PCB ? Info referring --> STM32WL55CC - Sub-GHz Wireless Microcontrollers. Dear colleagues,I woild like to ask you help me with may issue below:Why do I lose data when writing flash memory and an error occurs my code in the attachment.Code seems good, but I am sure that I loose something.In memory loosed letters "llo" from "Hello".Thnak you.With Best regardsIvan

hi all,I would like to experiment with the TFM applications contained in the STM32CubeU5 package on my B-U585I-IOT02A boardunfortunately, it seems that STM32CubeIDE is not supporteddoes anyone have suggestions on how to build the TFM applications, based on free and/or open software, without the need to install trial versions of EWARM?thanks in advanceGianluca

TN0018 calls out in the Process considerations section that the board must be properly cleaned after soldering if "self-cleaning" solder paste is not used. Are there any guidelines on cleaning methods that will not damage the sensor? Can the sensor port be covered with something like Kapton tape to protect it during the cleaning process?

I am using the B-U585I-IOT02A discovery kit with the STM32U585AI chip. Attempting to set the system clock value in STM Cube to anything that would result in voltage scaling above PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE4 results in a timeout and thus failure in the HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling() function.This is all in the Cube generated code, without any other additions or manipulation.Code sticks int he Error_Handler() function after the call to HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling().Edit: I cannot even manually manipulate the PWR registers via ST-LINK. I can do this on other development kits (STM32L5 for example)STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.12.0 Build: 14980_20230301_1550 (UTC)What is the problem here? I need to be able to set a clock speed as I like.void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0};   /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ if (HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2

I have a MEMS microphone (IM72D128V01, using this eval kit) with PDM output connected to a STM32U5 NUCLEO board.It's connected to the ADF/Audo Digital Filter peripheral which I have configured to provide a 5th order CIC filter with a 32x decimation factor. ADF clocking is configured to output a 3,072,000Hz data clock to the MEMS sensor. Every time I start my STM32 program I have to physically power cycle the MEMS IC or else I get a DC bias in the data register - the most significant byte of the 24bits in the data register (which includes the sign bit) is constantly 0x0 meaning the integer sample values are all positive.As soon as I power cycle the MEMS IC I immediately start getting a mix of positive and negative integer sample values as I would expect. This persists until I terminate and relaunch in CubeIDE.How do I diagnose/resolve this?

Details:MCU: STM32L4R9ZGJ6IDE: STM32CubeIDE v1.6.1SDK: STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.14.0Board: Custom PCBHello,I am seeing really strange behavior where bits 31-24 in the RCC->CSR register are usually always 0. I have verified this behavior on two boards. The only bit I ever see set is PINRSTF but only after programming the board with the debugger attached. Subsequent resets with NVIC_SystemReset(), toggling NRST, watchdog reset, etc do not set the reset bits accordingly.I have tried reading the registers after basic system init and immediately upon entering main() with the same result. Below are two tests that read RCC->CSR just after calling NVIC_SystemReset().Test 1 (Read CSR after basic system init): Test 2 (Read CSR as soon as main() is entered): I can't figure out why this would be happening. I skimmed through the MCU erratas and didn't see anything, but I could have overlooked something.Thanks,Derek

im using pc8 as a reset pin and ive check it with a logic analyzer and wen its initalized it drops low then goes back to high before im calling my function to drop it low btw im using saleae logic 2 void reset_pin_init(void){ //PC8 RCC->AHB1ENR |= (1U<<2);   GPIOC->MODER &= ~(1U<<17); GPIOC->MODER |= (1U<<16);   GPIOC->OSPEEDR |= (1U<<17); GPIOC->OSPEEDR |= (1U<<16);   GPIOC->PUPDR &= ~(1U<<17); GPIOC->PUPDR |= (1U<<16);   GPIOC->ODR |= (1U<<8); }   void si47xx_reset(void){   reset_pin_init();   GPIOC->ODR &= ~(1U<<8); systickDelayMs(50); GPIOC->ODR |= (1U<<8); }

Hi, when I use VSCode STM32 extension, VSCode always show this error. Could you help me solve this problem?Thanks for your help!

I'm to using the IDE and attempted to edit my first main.c file...and the paste function doesnt work. CTLR V does nothing and the right click menu has it available but also does nothing.
