STM32CubeMX 6.9.2:STM32CubeMX 6.11.0:

I am using the STHS34PF80 sensor to detect motion and presence. When I read the raw value of TMOTION and TPRESENCE I get both positive and negative numbers. What does the negative sign indicate here? Thanks

I would appreciate it if you guided me for Wiki documentation as a PDF.This will be very helpful, Thanks in advance

In my  project, i will  to communicate with a cluster of cars that support the CAN FD protocol, operating at a baud rate of 500 kbit/s with a data payload of 12 bytes.  my plan to interface this communication with a NucleoH745zi-Q board, which supports CAN FD. However, i  currently have  an MCP2551 transceiver designed for classical CAN .can'i do this communication with NucleoH745zi-Q board and MCP2551 transceiver !!! thank u

Hi, I am working on a firmware for STM32F103C8T6 with 128KB of flash. When I create a new project in the STMCubeIDE by default it sets the flash size to 64KB. I have changed the flash size in the linker file to 128KB. Is it the only change required or some more required? Thank you.

Hello, I need to be able to generate a small DC voltage from an AC voltage.  The App Note 4260 looked absolutely perfect - exactly what I needed - 12V 150mA buck converter.  Simple. no flyback transformers, etc.  But I was a bit confused as to the GND connection on the IC.  It looks like it is connecting to the V-Out instead, with a diode to gnd.So i went into the edesign suite and used the exact same parameters.  the design it shows before you hit "Start design" also shows the diode to gnd on the GND pin, but it also shows another ground symbol.  Can you clarify the two different grounds? The other thing I noticed - it shows a bridge rectifier on the AC input before you tap "start design", but the app note and design you see after you tap "start design" just show the simple single diode rectifier. Can you clarify if I need to add a bridge rectifier on the front? Do I also need the other diode then?

HiIn our design, we incorporated the IMS T225-F20E component. This part necessitates a clock with a frequency of 5 MHz. According to note 3 in the attached image, crystal oscillators with a 200 ppm (parts per million) tolerance can be employed. However, this information pertains to scenarios where two devices are connected together by a link. Now, the question is: What is the allowable tolerance for the clock oscillator if only one device is used?”I am currently working on crystal aging analysis. It would be beneficial if you could furnish the allowable tolerance data for the device.   Thanks in advance

Dear all, the first of all thanks for let me leave a message in this post.We have a schematic circuit, with the LM324 it works but with the LM358 doesn´t work. It gives the correct voltage in both chips in the output, I connect a relay solid state from Carlos Gavazi and with the LM324 works and with the LM358 doesn`t works. the differents inside the chips are ( picture attach).I check the mA output and all is correct. the consume of solid state relay is only 10mASomebody have this error? Which difference the are between the LM324 and LM358? could somebody give me a refference form a LM324 in two cannels? thanks in advanced Thanks in advanced.

Good day @ ST.  How can one get in contact with the right person at ST, when we wish to know a little more about SOI ?Sincerely  Klavs Rommedahl.

With revision Z of the STM32H563VIT6, which looks to be an older revision of the MCU, we get a HardFault issue in the UCPD library. We noticed the issue with revision Z, but revision X is working as expected (see errata in attachments)! When connecting a device through USB-C, the MCU goes in a HardFault when setting Rp resistors to SinkTxNG.In the STM UCPD library, I see that there is some added code to manage older revision of the component, and the line with the red arrow creates the HardFault. It seems that the MCU is not able to access "pUCPD_TRIM_1A5_CC1" value in non-volatile memory at address 0x08FFF844, even though there is a value at this address if I manually look for it in the flash. What could create this HardFault? Is there something we can do to fix this HardFault or should we discard all revisions other than the X?

Hi Everyone,I use SDMMC on my STM32H7 to write data on SD Card. I have several question :- for now I can't reach better rates than 12Mo/s writing, using 32Ko buffers and with the stm32 doing only that. Is that normal? I think I should reach the 25Mo/s announced by the High Speed Sd Card mode.- when the stm32 is running normally, I can't reach better rates than 7.5Mo/s in High Speed SD Card mode. Once again, is it a normal rate or could I do better ?- Those rates are in high speed mode in 3.3V. Should I consider to use a level shifter to write in 1.8V with SDR50 or SDR104 ? Thank you very much !

HiI am facing an odd problem with ADC in conjunction with DMA on STM32L151V8T-A. I can see that it measures all three channels. However, the result of each channel is stored in the first element of my results array (Result[3]). Every time that the callback function is called the results of one out of three channels is stored in Result[0] element. It is as if the memory address is not increasing. Can somebody help?

Hi, I'm working on a board that has a USB PD input and a USB PD output. The board initialises via a generic PD 100W charger connected to the USB-C input, negotiating power for 20V / 5A via the STUSB4500. After this, I'm trying to source the voltage to a secondary board, connecting the STUSB4500 output directly to a PD Source chip, which will again connect to an STUSB4500 in this secondary board. I tried to do this with the STUSB4761 PD Source chip, but the chip is not negotiating or outputting any voltage. I realised the chip has a feedback pin and probably only works with AC/DC supplies. Is there anything I can do to make this work? In other words, this is the scheme I tried:External power supply (100W) > USB-C CABLE > PCB#1: STUSB4500 + STUSB4761 > USB-C CABLE > PCB#2: STUSB4500 and so on... (this will repeat on a daisy-chain for at least 6 PCBs).One more question, would it be better to have a STUSB4700 for the source in this situation? Can I link the STUSB4500 to an STUSB

Working with STM32H743 and STM32CubeIDE 1.14.0.Created a project with FreeRTOS and USB Device CDC.When the program goes into the first vTaskDelay(1000) a hard crash occurs.

Hello,Iam developing RS485 on STM32H753. I use STM32Cube (*.IOC file) for USART configuration (USART with Hardware Flow Control) and everything works perfectly. But last send char by processor is also received in RX buffer. Does anyone know how to prevent this behavior? Thank you for your response.

Hi,I think I may have found an error. When generating a project for STM32L412K8TX (not a board) the default linker file define a RAM LENGTH of 40K.The STM32L412K8TX have 40K divided in two parts, 32K in RAM1 (0x20000000) and 8K in RAM2 (0x10000000).Package STM32L4 version 1.17.2CubeMX version 6.8.1Here is the header generated, also wrong:** @brief : Linker script for STM32L412K8Tx Device from STM32L4 series** 64Kbytes FLASH** 40Kbytes RAM** 8Kbytes RAM2 "SRAM1_SIZE_MAX" in stm32l412xx.h is ok, with a value of 0x8000. Have a good day !

Hello!I need to be able to enable and disable touch screen from my GUI application. I don't want to cut the power to the touchscreen.I want my handle click functions on multiple screens to not to respond to touch events for some time after certain point of time or another event. So I imagine a function in Model class that would somehow enable and disable touch events. How can I achieve that the best way?I guess it is not a good idea to have a flag in touchController (if the flag is set, return false from sampleTouch...)Thank you.

Hi,In this example,  https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32CubeMonitor:How_to_start_with_STM32_Wireless_Long_Range_demothere is a demo of one concentrator, and up to 15 sensors. How to perform the communication between one concentrator and up to 30 sensors in a local LoRa network concentrator setup, without LoRaWAN like the example shown in the link? What changes are to be done in the STM32WL55 local concentrator example code ? Please suggest. Thank you.

Hi Sir/Madam, I am working with I2C in x-nucleo-nfc07a1 where ST25DV IC incorporated interfaced with Nucleo-WB55 board, what is the slave address(device address) for this?I am firmware engineer, I have I2C Scanning program wherePreviously, I work with Temp sensor, the scanning code gives me slave address as 0x4a,I also work the following,Heart rate sensor in which it is 0x57PN532 NFC reader in which it shows 0x24And right now I work with X-Nucleo-NFC07A1 in which ST25DV64KC is incorporated, here the scanning code shows none. I want to know, why it is not? and how to deal with i2c communication to store data in EEPROM? HAL_I2c functions deals with 5 parameters, DevAddr, TargetAddr, Data Buffer, No.of.Bytes req, delay, out of which DevAddr what we can use?In the datasheet of ST25DV64KC, Table 89 Device select code and Table 91 I2C CFG are confusing with the bit assignment. I also attach the respective datasheet for your reference.Best Regards,Bhuvaneswaran T

In TouchGFX(4.22.0)，I want to implement a curve similar to the following imageActually it is an SVG image, is it possible to change its path and gradient color using a program in TouchGFX? What I mean is not using ‘SVG Image’, but simply using a programmatic approach(the path may not be so complicated).  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 23.1.0, SVG Export Plug-In . Hi I am looking for the top side park marking of component M24C08-FMH6TG.Is this something I should be able to locate myself? I checked the datasheet and engineering notes for the package type.Thank you so much.-Ben

Hello, I think there's a bug in CubeIDE when working with a Nucleo-H563ZI. Steps to reproduce it:- create new project, clear pinouts- enable USART3 in async mode, PB10 and PC4 pins are assigned (why not PD8 and PD9? don't understand)- ctrl+click on PB10 and PC4 and move them to PD8 and PD9 (to get console output to ST-LINK vcp)- auto configure clock, save and let IDE generate code- close IOC file and open it again, USART3 is disabled and no pins are assigned As a bonus, same thing happens when assigning PC13 (blue btn) as a GPIO_EXTI (or GPIO_Input, etc.), it vanishes when closing IOC file. When choosing a "normal" pin, all is good. It is very annoying - maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I am not a hardware tech, but am familiar with some bit-fiddly work in software.  Still, I am new to modern firmware development, and could likely use a pointing finger.I've been tasked to write firmware with these two components. The board is built, and I have a schematic for it.Using STM32CubeIDE, I've connected the pins according to what I see in the schematic.I also set up LWIP and FreeRTOS, in an effort to reduce much of the bit twiddling down to a more familiar environment for myself... again, using the STM32CubeIDE Pinout and Configuration tool.  I enabled DHCP, to get this to fetch its own IP address, but that's about it.  If it helps, I'm using version 1.14.1 of STM32CubeIDE.As mentioned in the subject header, the MCU is an STM32F107VC chip, and the ethernet component is actually a 3-port switch (the KSZ8863FLL).  I can control this over an MII interface.I also have an STLink/V2 programmer-debugger, which allows me to step in the code... a rather valuable fe
