Hi,I use the component ST25R3911B. I'm able to tune some antennas, no issues.But, now I have to use some RF switches to drive several antennas. Unfortunaly the RF switches have a resistor Ron and this drops the output power of the RF reader. The tuning is fine if I look at the smith chart but the power is divided by two.The connectic is: EMC -> Tuning (C1+C2) -> RF switch -> antennas (x4)I'm wondering if there is any way to increase the power, independently of the tuning? The goal would be to have the same power with and with the RF switch.I looked on the datasheet and I do not find a registrer which boost the signal or whatever.Furthermore, is it possible to use some hardware component to drawn the max power from the reader? Maybe using a balun with 20 Ohm?Any help is the welcome :)Best Regards,Loic

Hi Folks,I have an issue with the RS485 Driver Enable Pin with the USART6 on an H7A3 (Nucleo).The Perhiperal is set up in CubeMX with "Hardware Flow Control (RS485) enabled.I have developed a driver using the Low Level functions.The Peripheral is setup by Cube MX,  in "uart.c" the "DE Mode" is enabled:  LL_USART_EnableDEMode(USART6); LL_USART_SetDESignalPolarity(USART6, LL_USART_DE_POLARITY_HIGH); LL_USART_SetDEAssertionTime(USART6, 0); LL_USART_SetDEDeassertionTime(USART6, 0); When I start a transmission with  LL_DMA_SetMemoryAddress(hrUA->txDMA.hDMA, hrUA->txDMA.dmaCh, txAddr); // set TxBuffer Address LL_DMA_SetDataLength(hrUA->txDMA.hDMA, hrUA->txDMA.dmaCh, dataSz); // set Tx Size LL_DMA_EnableIT_TC(hrUA->txDMA.hDMA, hrUA->txDMA.dmaCh); // enable Tx Transfer Complete IRQ LL_DMA_EnableIT_TE(hrUA->txDMA.hDMA, hrUA->txDMA.dmaCh); // enable Tx Transfer Error IRQ LL_USART_ClearFlag_TC(hrUA->hUA); // clear T

New question from this thread. So in order to use both SMPS and LDO, given in board schematics,I mounted SB6 and SB17 (SB44, SB46, L4 already mounted)and removed SB5 and SB18 (rest already not mounted).After than i flashed it with keeping the following settings. Im still getting the same error.

Dear Community,We are considering using the STSPIN32G4 to integrate and control the motor in our system. The primary reason for selecting it is that our battery supplies 6V-8.4V, which falls within the STSPIN32G4's 5.5V-75V range.We have a few questions regarding the EVSPIN32G4:Input Voltage LimitationWe are interested in purchasing the EVSPIN32G4 to test it out. However, we noticed that the product specifications state the input voltage range as 10V-75V, while the components appear to support down to 5.5V. We would like to understand the reasoning behind this limitation. The best case is we can directly using our battery supplies 6V-8.4V, to power the board.  Op-Amp Configuration and PA2As per our understanding, PA2 is used as OPO1 and should output the voltage difference to be sent to an ADC pin for current sensing and processing. However, PA2 does not seem to be connected to any other GPIO, leading us to wonder how this Op-Amp is functioning.Can the STSPIN32G4 di

I’m running into some trouble when trying to create a new application with TouchGFX Designer version 4.24.2 on the STM32N6570-DK board. After generating the code and opening the project in STM32CubeMX, I encounter a clock configuration error. It seems to resolve itself automatically, but the real issue starts when I move to STM32CubeIDE.In STM32CubeIDE, I get an error saying the .elf file does not exist. When I try to build the project, I encounter numerous errors like "bad instruction" in tx_initialize_low_level.S.Has anyone successfully set up a TouchGFX project for the STM32N6570-DK? Any guidance on how to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,We've noticed that the STM32H533 micro-controller is not present in Longevity Commitment list.Is there a particular reason for this?  We are planning to use this micro-controller in a number of new products going forward.Best regards,Michael Waites

I am using STM32 with the following peripherals:TIM7 for frequency generationADC with DMADAC with DMATIM Interrupt (TIM_IT)My setup:Clock: 150 MHzPrescaler (PSC:( 3-1Auto-reload register (ARR:( 13-1128 samples for DAC to generate a 30 kHz signalWhen using these settings, the ADC half-complete and complete callbacks are triggered correctly, meaning ADC DMA is working. However, nothing seems to happen in the while(1) loop in main().What do you think could be causing this?Could it be related to TIM7 interrupt priority, DMA behavior, or CPU being blocked?Is the DMA transfer taking over completely, preventing execution in while(1)?Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Sir.I am using a board equipped with STM32U585 , The main clock is 32.768 khzsee included pic.PA8 is configured to drive LSE 32KHZ using the command__HAL_RCC_LSEDRIVE_CONFIG(RCC_LSEDRIVE_HIGH);PA8 is fed to ECG MAX30001.On some boards MAX30001 reports pll lock problem.The signal of  32 khz on PA8 is shown at the attached video.Setting the parameter __HAL_RCC_LSEDRIVE_CONFIG(RCC_LSEDRIVE_HIGH); to0 or RCC_BDCR_LSEDRV_0 or RCC_BDCR_LSEDRV_1 makes no change on the jitter1. Is this jitter is normal.Please Advise

Dear sir,IBIS model required for "Part Number: M24M02-DWMN3TP/K" for Signal Integrity analysis. We downloaded IBIS model available in component page in ST micro website. But that IBIS model "automotive_i2c_m24xxx_ibis_models_-40_125.zip" not having for 2Mbit EEPROM ICs. So, please provide proper IBIS model for Part Number: M24M02-DWMN3TP/K.

Hello,I have a STM32L152RE and I use PA1 (Pin type is FT 5v tolerant) as ADC_IN1. Vdd is 3.3V and the voltage on PA1 usually is around 5V and sometimes it drops to 2.5V ( when I need to take the measure). Several comments on various blog said that usually is not possible have voltages above 4V even if the pin is FT if the pin is used as ADC. I searched everywhere in the datasheet and there is any note for the STM32L152RE. So I'd like to know if I can apply safely 5V on that pin.Regards,Riccardo

The output status of A7987 chips varies from batch to batch. We purchased materials from different suppliers, and one batch will have a high pulse of about 7V after recovering from a 5V short circuit, while the other batch will have a high pulse of about 13V after recovering from a 5V short circuit. The maximum withstand voltage of the rear chip is 7V, and this 13V pulse can cause damage to the rear chip.Analysis of Failure Causes of CAN Transceiver Chip on HJ81 Circuit BoardA7987 abnormal chip, the voltage surged to around 13V when powered on after a 5V short circuit, causing the backend chip to burn out。   After replacing the chip with A7987 that tested normally, the voltage fluctuated to around 7V when powered on after a 5V short circuit, within the range that the CAN transceiver chip can withstand。

The register map of L9961 BMS IC is missing from the datasheet, where can i find it?

Hello,I have generated a makefile project on CubeIDE for STM32WB55RG and I'm trying to debugging it on CubeIDE . After a research on the forum I got to know that this is achievable and set up build settings accordingly.  When I try to debug I get the error: ../Drivers/STM32WBxx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32wbxx_hal.c:35:10: fatal error: stm32wbxx_hal.h: No such file or directory    35 | #include "stm32wbxx_hal.h"       | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ compilation terminated. I've checked my file system and the file does exist and on my Makefile file I have it included (4th code line) # C includes C_INCLUDES = \ -ICore/Inc \ -IDrivers/STM32WBxx_HAL_Driver/Inc \ -IDrivers/STM32WBxx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy \ -IDrivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32WBxx/Include \ -IDrivers/CMSIS/Include  Still don't understand why the file can't be found. Any clue?

Hello,I'm beginner in STM32 and would need help with HAL callback function usage.When I've started to use STM32s after PICs, one of the reasons why I was happy that the timer module encoder receiver function works really well, robust. I did used other interrupts, but somehow I have not used other timer interrupts ... until now. And now I'm stuck.I try to use an STM32G474 with an I2C oled on, encoder on timer 4, some spi peripherials and want to measure frequency on timer 5. My problem is, with HAL, how can I separate the two actions? Both encoder and time measurement calls the HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback. Both works fine ... as long as there is no interrupt coming in from the other. At the moment the function looks like what I copy below. Can you please help how to separate the 2 actions, how to refer in in(**) to one or the other or any other, but with using HAL.Thanks!!JG  void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim){// If the Interrupt is triggered by 1st Channe

I have created my first PCB with a STM32C011F6P6 on it, but I am not able to measure a GPIO I set high from my testpoint.I am setting PB6 high the following way:I flashed the code to the MCU via the cube ide and it told me that everything went fine.This is what cubemx generated for the gpio init:static void MX_GPIO_Init(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN MX_GPIO_Init_1 */ /* USER CODE END MX_GPIO_Init_1 */ /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); /*Configure GPIO pin Output Level */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_6, GPIO_PIN_RESET); /*Configure GPIO pin : PB6 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_6; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct); /* USER CODE BEGIN MX_GPIO_Init_2 */ /* USER CODE END MX_GPIO_Init_2 */ }I have it wired the foll

I have made a PCB with the STM32C011F6P6 on it and am trying to program it via an ST-LinkV2. While trying it out yesterday, it connected just fine with the cube programmer. Now I am trying to do the same thing again, but both the cube programmer and the cube ide tell me that they can't connect.I have already upgraded the firmware via "stsw-link004".Does someone have an idea what might be causing this?Schematic of my MCU wiring:

The Reference Manual for STM32U0 series MCUs, RM0503 Rev2, specifies, in table 2 on page 57, that SRAM starts at 0x2000 0000 and ends at 0x2002 9FFF.  This is a contiguous region with a size of 168KB.  However, the Size column shows 40KB.  This document is confusing.  What is the correct size of SRAM?Furthermore, in section 2.3 on page 60,  table 5 lists 2  SRAM segments, SRAM1 (32KB) and SRAM2 (8KB).  These add up to 40KB, which is the size listed in table 2.  However, the locations of these segments within the SRAM region are not documented.  The table does not specify where the start addresses are, nor does it specify whether or not the two segments are contiguous or separated.What are the start addresses of SRAM1 and SRAM2?Why are they separated?What are the differences between these two segments?Is  there a different document that explains these in better detail?

Hi all,My colleague's Windows IDE version is 1.7.0, while I installed the latest version 1.17.0. However, I found that the MCU can work normally after the sfb file compiled in his IDE and loaded into the MCU. But when the sfb file compiled in my IDE and loaded into the MCU, the MCU cannot operate normally. Is it possible that the IDE version is too different to cause this? If I want to install an old version of IDE for testing, how can I get the old version of Windows IDE version 1.7.0?Thanks a lot.

Hi, I'm trying to compile NFC Tap for iOS but no luck so far.  I've resolved the following issues, by following the advice of other posts on this forum:Add st25sdk header search pathRemove ST25NFCAppClip from buildFix signing and j2objc pathAdd st25sdk framework from en.stsw-st25ios005.zipChange bundle identifierAfter these fixes, the project still fails to compile due to the errors shown below.  I'm suspecting  an issue with the j2objc version.  I'm using the latest from their repo.  Is there any recommended version that I should use?Xcode Version: 16.1STSW-ST25IOS002 version: 7.6.0STSW-ST25IOS005 version: 1.0.0Thanks!
