I am working with LIS2DW12 configuring the INT1 for the activity/inactivity interrupt. With the below configurations (as provided in the datasheet), 1. Write 50h in CTRL1 // Turn on the accelerometer // ODR = 200 Hz, FS = ±2 g2. Write 42h in WAKE_UP_DUR // Set duration for inactivity detection // Set duration for wake-up detection3. Write 42h in WAKE_UP_THS // Set activity/inactivity threshold // Enable activity/inactivity detection4. Write 20h in CTRL4_INT1_PAD_CTRL // Activity (wake-up) interrupt driven to INT1 pin5. Write 20h in CTRL7 // Enable interruptsAs expected the interrupt is triggered as an when there is an activity (movement).I want the interrupt to be triggered when the activity is prolonged for 5 secs. I tried playing around with the CTRL1 & WAKE_UP_DUR settings. But results are not as expect. Kindly advice.

We bought the LSM6DSOX and installed into our equipment since 2021, please help to evaluate whether we need calibrate it. Are there any conditions that the sensor must be calibrated? Please show us the detailed steps for calibrating the sensor. Since the output acceleration information is very important for our application, could you 1) give us some reliability data from customer market (especially in Aviation Industry, we called FMEA: Failure Modes and Effects Analysis); 2) show us some basic principles for generating the acceleration data. From spec and application note of LSM6DSOX, we found it can support motion/stationary recognition, please show us more detail information with the reliability of this recognition and how to implement this function during practice. Are there any limitations or key points for installation of this sensor?

Please read this post: How to insert source code Hi  ,  I’m currently playing around with the STM32N66570-DK kit. I’m having a simple problem with button detection. For testing, I’m just using the USER1 button  (BP1 in my code ) and LED1. I couldn’t get the button working properly with interrupts, so in this code I just read the state of USER1 ( BP1) and turn LED1 on or off accordingly.  The USER1 button is always read as the same value, no matter whether I press it or not.     in debug Mode :  GPIOx const GPIO_TypeDef * 0x56020800GPIO_Pin uint16_t 8192bitstatus GPIO_PinState GPIO_PIN_RESET   Here are the code and screenshots. The code was generated with CubeMX. Thanks for your help! Once I get the button detection working, I’ll move on to using interrupts. Emmanuel main.

Hello,I'm using RFAL with the ST25R3916 to emulate NDEF tags. The tag emulation works perfectly. Now, I'd like to get the RSSI when the emulated tag is read.My problem is that rfalGetTransceiveRSSI() and even the low evel st25r3916GetRSSI() always return 0, wherever I use them (after device is activated, after or before data exchange, ...).These functions return a correct RSSI value when the ST25R3916 is used as a reader; but not when it's used as a tag emulator.Any idea how I can get the RSSI when the emulated tag is read ?Thanks !

Hi, I am trying to confiure my FSM on LSM6DSV320X chip following the instructions from AN6291LSM6DSV320X: finite state machine document. But in the document on page 52 line 18 it says: Write 41h to register 02h // PAGE_SEL = 4. But there is no description about "page 4". I would be really thankful to be helped with this issue. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks and regardsY@TDK @Andrew Neil

Hello,I am trying to use Nucleo-H563ZI with SPI display (ILI9431) with Single Frame buffer but i couldn't configure it and didn't find appropriate example. Do anyone have used SPI display with Single Frame Buffer? Any help would be great.I do have sufficient space to implement single Frame Buffer. I am lacking knowledge for implementation.I have successfully used partial frame buffer but there was a problem, whenever i used .invalidate() to update textArea other box flicker in the display. On the partial frame buffer i used SPI with DMA. Thank youkind regards,Binod Basnet

Hi,I would like to check if there is any one who could guide me through the jungle of using TFLM in my software. It seems that it don't matter what I do when building a TFLM as a static library and link it to my simple test program. I have tried a lot of configurations and a lot of tries to 16 byte align the model and arena for this, but I am still getting a hard fault because of unaligned access in the AllocateTensors call.My align of the model looks like this:alignas(16) const unsigned char g_model_data[] = ...and my code using TFLM looks as follows:#include <cstring> //#include "tensorflow/lite/micro/micro_op_resolver.h" #include "tensorflow/lite/micro/micro_mutable_op_resolver.h" //#include "tensorflow/lite/micro/kernels/micro_ops.h" //#include "tensorflow/lite/micro/micro_log.h" //#include "tensorflow/lite/micro/micro_error_reporter.h" #include "tensorflow/lite/micro/micro_interpreter.h" #include "tensorflow/lite/schema/schema_generated.h" #include "tensorflow/lite/micro/sy

Hi all,After reading through both the HAL, low-layer and USB Device library code flow several times I am still confused about a peculiar point.When I ask STM32CubeIDE to generate a Custom HID base implementation, I get a "usbd_conf.c" file that has a function like this:USBD_StatusTypeDef USBD_LL_Init(USBD_HandleTypeDef *pdev) { /* Init USB Ip. */ /* Link the driver to the stack. */ hpcd_USB_FS.pData = pdev; pdev->pData = &hpcd_USB_FS; ... hpcd init ... ... callback registration ... /* USER CODE BEGIN EndPoint_Configuration */ HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig((PCD_HandleTypeDef*)pdev->pData , 0x00 , PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x18); HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig((PCD_HandleTypeDef*)pdev->pData , 0x80 , PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x58); /* USER CODE END EndPoint_Configuration */ /* USER CODE BEGIN EndPoint_Configuration_CUSTOM_HID */ HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig((PCD_HandleTypeDef*)pdev->pData , CUSTOM_HID_EPIN_ADDR , PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x98); HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig((PCD_HandleTypeDef*)pdev->pData , CUSTOM_HID_EPOUT_ADDR

I'm trying to read data from my MPU-6050 (a 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope from DFRobot) using an STM32F103RB microcontroller, but I'm running into an issue. The sensor communicates via I2C. It's powered by 3.3V from the STM32, and I've used  once 1,2kΩ and other time 10kΩ pull-up resistors on the SDA and SCL lines to 3.3V.During program debugging, the sensor is left completely stationary. However, in the "Live Expressions" view, the raw values from the sensor are inconsistent. The values for the corresponding accelerometer and gyroscope axes are always the same, which seems strange. Here are the raw readings from the first few reads:First Read:Accel_X_RAW & Gyro_X_RAW: -4017Accel_Y_RAW & Gyro_Y_RAW: 32Accel_Z_RAW & Gyro_Z_RAW: 30476Second Read:Accel_X_RAW & Gyro_X_RAW: 0Accel_Y_RAW & Gyro_Y_RAW: 0Accel_Z_RAW & Gyro_Z_RAW: -1280Third Read:Accel_X_RAW & Gyro_X_RAW: -1280Accel_Y_RAW&n

The STEVAL-WBC86TX eval PCBA and the associated GUI appear to be no longer supported. Are there recommendations for proceeding to design with the STWBC86 Wireless Power Transmitter, without them?I am getting started with the AN5961 Wireless P Xfr Coil Design Application Note.

I am attempting to write the platform code for the ULD to work with Zephyr. WrByte, RdByte, and RdMulti are running correctly, but the WrMulti function is throwing two types of errors:<err> i2c_nrfx_twim: Error on I2C line occurred for message 0<err> i2c_nrfx_twim: Error 0x0BAE0001 occurred for message 0. The second error appears to be an issue with NACK, but it seems strange that there is no NACK when writing a single byte (WrByte) and NACK is received when attempting to write more (WrMulti). I'm attaching the platform files in case someone could lend me a hand. Thank you in advance.

Hi,I am using STM32WB55 device in my design and have to provide 3.3V from outside to BOOT0 pin BEFORE MCU is powered ON. In the datasheets and the manuals that I have been reviewing I didn't find any straightforward information what voltage level can be provided to this pin before device is powered-up.Please let me know if someone have encountered with this topic before. Thanks!

I'm seeing TouchGFX has been updated to 4.26.0 https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/miscellaneous/changelogUnfortunately, after having launched it, no pop-up appears asking for update https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/miscellaneous/updating-to-a-new-touchgfx-versionI'm noticing even on ST Download page isn't updated https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/touchgfxdesigner.html

Hello everyone,I'm working on a project in STM32CubeIDE and I'm trying to include the CMSIS-DSP math library. During the build process, I'm running into a linker error and can't figure out what's wrong with my settings. The error message is ld.exe: cannot find -llibarm_cortexM4l_math.a: No such file or directory.I have added the path to the library in MCU GCC Linker > Libraries > Library search path (-L). I've also double-checked that the library file libarm_cortexM4l_math.a does exist in that path. I suspect the issue is how I'm specifying the library itself. Here is the full command and error from the build console:arm-none-eabi-gcc -o "stm_niso_watch_fw2_TEST.elf" @"objects.list" -llibarm_cortexM4l_math.a -mcpu=cortex-m4 -T"C:\Users\vishv\Downloads\STM32_AI\stm_niso_watch_fw2_TEST\STM32WB5MMGHX_FLASH.ld" --specs=nosys.specs -Wl,-Map="stm_niso_watch_fw2_TEST.map" -Wl,--gc-sections -static -L"C:\Users\vishv\Downloads\CMSIS_4-master\CMSIS_4-master\CMSIS\Lib\GCC" -L"C:\Users\vishv\D

Hello, dear ST Please kindly help to provide the body marking surface of M95512-DRMN8TP/K.Thank you!

Hi i'm using STM32F411RE. I've been reading data from ADC IC using I2C communication. It's 400Khz, and I'm reading using DMA. By the way, if another interrupt with high priority occurs during I2C communication, it runs that interrupt during I2C communication and reads I2C data again. If I operate with DMA, isn't it irrelevant to the interrupt because I2C operates on hardware? Of course, the data comes exactly. If you have any question, please ask me. Thank you.

Hello wonderful ST Community! It has been 2 days since my last major project halting problem! Haha, must be time for a new one!In the last two years since I started to learn STM32 I have never had a Memory management fault so I have no clue what to do! From my research online I have gotten to the point in the screenshot, my understanding form the two registers shown is that an instruction is trying to be executed from a bad mem address, something to do with function pointers?   Of other note is the lack of information in the debug panel on the left hand side, normally it shows the call stack (I think that's what it's called) but it's not showing anything useful. The breakpoint pointer is also not showing, the only reason I know it's a MemManage_Handler is from the Debugger Console.I would love to be able to figure out where the error is originating form but under registers all the registers including the PC are blank, not helpful! Any ideas would be great h

I believe I am seeing the same issue raised here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/problem-with-stm32h7-erasing-flash-bank-1-while-running-from/td-p/86979but there were no replies before that thread was locked.I'm working on a firmware-update mechanism, testing on a Nucleo STM32H755ZI (rev U).  When a new firmware is available, I erase the inactive flash bank and then write the new firmware into the freshly erased bank, ping-ponging between banks each time the firmware gets updated.// Find which flash bank we are running in now if (FLASH->OPTCR & FLASH_OPTCR_SWAP_BANK) { ActiveBank = BANK2; } else { ActiveBank = BANK1; } ... // Bank-erase the inactive flash, and prepare to program it if (ActiveBank == BANK1) { // Only unlock if currently locked if (FLASH->CR2 & FLASH_CR_LOCK) { FLASH->KEYR2 = 0x45670123; FLASH->KEYR2 = 0xcdef89ab; } FLASH->CR2 |= (FLASH_CR_BER | FLASH_CR_START); // perform bank 2 erase while (FLASH->SR2 & FLAS

Hello, I have an stm processor (stm32h7b3zitx) connected to an ST Link V3 that is on an ubuntu server. My goal is to connect to the ST Link and run a remote debugging session from my windows laptop running the stm32CubeIDE. To accomplish this I have been running st-util -v -p 61234 on the ubuntu server and using the following debugging configuration in the cube ide.I am port forwarding via an ssh connection to expose port 61234 on my windows machine. When I go to debug, I get the following errorI've attached the verbose gdb log from host machine and the verbose st-util log from the ubuntu server to this post. I'm wondering what steps I can take to resolve this. Thanks in advanced to all who view this!

I'm looking for a way to have cubeIDE read from a .bin or .txt file on windows 11 and insert it's contents into a string array in my code during the build process. So, if we have a file called "file.bin" stored somewhere on windows. and inside this file we have "Text from file.bin"In our code we haveunsigned char string[];After build we haveunsigned char string[] = "Text from file.bin"

Hello ST team,I’m using an STM32F723 microcontroller with USB HS (High Speed) in Communication Device Class (CDC) mode.Everything worked perfectly using:STM32CubeMX v6.10.0STM32Cube FW_F7 v1.17.1However, after migrating the project to:STM32CubeMX v6.13.0STM32Cube FW_F7 v1.17.4the USB HS initialization fails due to what appears to be a missing clock enable definition and configuration in the generated code.Observed behaviorIn the generated usbd_conf.c file, inside:void HAL_PCD_MspInit(PCD_HandleTypeDef* pcdHandle)Previously (working version) CubeMX generated:/* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_OTGPHYC_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_USB_OTG_HS_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_USB_OTG_HS_ULPI_CLK_ENABLE();After the update, the generated code only contains:__HAL_RCC_OTGPHYC_CLK_ENABLE();As a result, the USB HS peripheral never initializes properly, and the code hangs in a timeout during initialization, specifically here:stm32f7xx_ll_usb.c → function USB_CoreInit():ret = USB_CoreReset(USBx); /* Wait fo

Dear Embedded Community,I am facing a persistent and frustrating issue concerning the Dual ADC Synchronous Multi-Channel Mode on my Blue Pill board (STM32F103C8T6). The setup works perfectly in simulation but fails completely on the actual physical hardware.I'm seeking guidance on how to confirm the functional integrity of the ADC2 peripheral on this specific board. 1. Hardware & Software Setup Microcontroller: STM32F103C8T6 (Blue Pill - likely a clone/fake chip).Development Environment: STM32CubeIDE / HAL Library (latest F1 series version).ADC Configuration: Dual Regular Simultaneous Mode (Synchronous Multi-Channel).ADC1 Channels: CH0 and CH1 (Injected/Regular, typically triggered by a Timer).ADC2 Channels: CH2 and CH3 (Running as the Slave, triggered by ADC1).Transfer Method: DMA (Circular Mode) to a single buffer. 2. The Problem: Simulation vs. Reality My goal is to sample two pairs of analog signals simultaneously (true synchronized reading).ScenarioExpected
