Hello. I'm Using L9369 for H-bridge control.I'm trying to set GIO0~8 pin high(Button interface), but i can't(Analog Output - SPI control)i'm using SPI command, and i saw L9369's manual and i follow the instruction below steps to set GIOx pin as high.Set "SPI_GIOx_MuxCtrl" as "1111" , so i send command and get response. 0xB901FFF7 for register 114d -> 0x0e41ffe8 0xB981FFE2 for register 115d -> 0x0e61ffe8 0xBA81FFF3 for register 117d -> 0x0ea1ffe5 2.Set "SPI_off_GIOx" as "0", so i send command 0xC38000F5 for register 135d -> 0x -> 10e000ec 3.Set "SPI_GIOx_HSctrl" bit as "1", so i send command 0xBB81B0E0 for register 119d -> 0x0ee000d2i check each GIOx's status via SPI comannd and get response 0x44000001 for register 136d -> 0x0x11000015is there anything else i need to do? or check? what should i do? please help me.thank you.

I have tried to add a library with .a extension but all tries had been unsuccessfully.I have added the search path to "Library Search Path (L)" section in MCU GCC Linker.I have added the library name to "Libraries (-l)" section in MCU GCC Linker. With this when building the project, I get the next error:tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot find -lMyLibraryIs there any other step I'm missing?Hope you can help me with this.Regards

HelloI am familiar with STM32. I have a simple project with CubeMXOne ADC reads 3 channels, continuousmade disable , DMA active.I turn everything on and start the first ADC conversion with a function HAL_ADC_Start_DMA.My questionsHow do I start another ADC conversion? What should I test to make the program wait for the ADC conversion to complete and the data transfer via DMA?Thanks you

I am making a DFU for stm32f4-discovery board. My DFU is using a project generated by STM32CubeMX V1.0. And It worked well with the program generated by the STM32CubeMX V1.0But when I worked with a project generated by STM32CubeIDE, I cannot make the main program run.I had made these steps:First, in system_stm32f4xx.c#define USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS   #if defined(USER_VECT_TAB_ADDRESS) /*!< Uncomment the following line if you need to relocate your vector Table in Sram else user remap will be done in Flash. */ /* #define VECT_TAB_SRAM */ #if defined(VECT_TAB_SRAM) #define VECT_TAB_BASE_ADDRESS SRAM_BASE /*!< Vector Table base address field. This value must be a multiple of 0x200. */ #define VECT_TAB_OFFSET 0x00000000U /*!< Vector Table base offset field. This value must be a multiple of 0x200. */ #else #define VECT_TAB_BASE_ADDRESS FLASH_BASE /*!< Vector Table base address field. This value must be a multiple of 0x200. */ #define VECT_TAB_OFFSET 0x8000 /*!< Vector Ta

Hi team! I am working on the OLED interfacing with STM32F103C8T6. All I want to do that is to display the counter value from 0 to 255 on OLED. But when I simply put the random number such as 48 it shows its equivalent ASCII value not a decimal value as it is 48.What is the reason of it?I am delighted to ST community for the help. Thanks in advance.

Section 6.4.4 of RM0433 is the only place I could find that says what to do with VBAT rail when not using a battery. It says the following:If no external battery is used in the application, it is recommended to connect VBAT externally to VDD through a 100 nF external ceramic capacitor.Does it actually mean "through"? That wording implies this: ...but I don't see how that make sense.Does anyone else read it differently?

Thanks

Hi all I have a new board of STM32MP157C, But I found the eMMC's pin in board is not the default pin. If I want to boot from eMMC what I should do? write the otp to set pin of eMMC and set the device tree. is that enough ?

Hello,is there a method to read/ write NOR flash on QSPI

We have the STM32L4R-Eval kit revision 01 as well as revision 02We want to use STM32L4R9AI in our prototype, which was used in the above Eval. The difference between these two versions looks like in revision01 U5 SRAM is populated but not working correctly; in revision02 it wasn't populated. Please Confirm. We want to use STM32L4R9AI in our prototype, which was used in the above Eval and our prototype is not ready yet, So, we want to start our development using eval-kit and our product requires 800x480 resolution TFT LCD on RGB interface. This is the list of challenges we are facing as per below:1) As per our display resolution required frame buffer size for double buffering is around 2MB that can not be fit into internal RAM(640KB). So want to use external SRAM.Now, we have two options:2) Option1: Use external SRAM connected to OCTO SPI2 SRAM(U5 IC) but it was not originally populated because of some limitations as per its datasheet.-> Is this limitation specific to the Eval kit only

Hello,I build an application with FatFs Middleware to log data on a uSD card.I used the same protocol on FatFs_uSD application with wl55 mcu.f_mkfs and f_mount function return FR_OK.but f_open return FR_NO_FILESYSTEM i tried to change between SDHC and SDSCi passed the SD module power supply from 3.3V to 5Vi changed min heap and stack sizesi changed _MAX_SS in ffconh.h... but always the same problem !any suggestion please ?

Hello,I'm trying to communicate to ST NFC IC ST25r3914 with another mcu through SPI communication. I have successfully initialised NFC IC but I am getting NFC IRQ interrupt only four times. After this control comes only till RFAL_NFC_STATE.

I only can find the packages for the L4 and L5.

HelloI need to build an automatic programming and testing tool for industry.Do someone can help me finding a programming tool to flash simultaneously, up to 10 STM32 MCU ?The binary file is the same for all of them.I need to integrate the software programming tool through a supplied API for C/C++ (like for STM32CubeProgrammer, I saw it seems exist). So I'm looging both for hardware and software solution.THank you in advance for your ideas.Regards.

As shown in the picture, when I send the generate command, a compilation error occurs. The problem appears to be that std=c99 needs to be adjusted. Does anyone know how to fix this please? Thanks in advance.

Hello, when I tried to create an stm32 project, at the last step of generating the code, I came across this warning and the code was not generated. After it tried to unzip stm32cube package, it says "Target directory already exists". I did already download and unzip the package. But it seems not using that folder and files. Do I have to remove the one I unzipped and then creating the project?

I have a STM32F103C8T6 bluepill board. I´m trying to use the Timer3 to TRIGGER the ADC1 conversion + DMA transfer. The ideia is: when the timer 3 trigger the ADC1, a conversions starts and the dma transfer the result of conversion to a buffer, in circular mode.I´m using the STMCubeIDE.In the TIM3 Mode and Configurations, in the tab Parameters Setting, in the field Trigger Output (TRGO) Paramters, i´ve set Trigger Event Selection like Update Event. These settings are shown in the figure below. No modo e configuração ADC1 fiz a seguinte configuração. The code:/* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1;DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_adc1;TIM_HandleTypeDef htim3;/* USER CODE BEGIN PV */#define Buflen 10uint16_t dmaBuffer[Buflen];/* USER CODE END PV */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc1); HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim3); HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1, (uint32_t*)dmaBuffer, Buflen)

Hi,My problem is that I have "no stm32 traget found" message when I try to connect to a board by SWD through a ST-Link/v2 (no board identified). On oscilloscope, when we look on SWDIO pin, a little event happens when initializing connection on stm32cubeprogrammer but then nothing. Can it be a problem with the deisgn itself ? Just by the schematics, would you see a problem ? It's a stm32wb30ce I have a custom board with this connections for SWD programming :These pins are connected like this on the MCU : Do you see a problem on the schematic to program this MCU by SWD ?Here are the VDD parts in case the problem is there : Thanks

We are looking at using the LIS2HH12 in a design where the connected MCU is powered off and the LIS2HH12 remains powered on. We plan to use the LIS2HH12 in I2C mode so CS will be High. Will cycling Vdd_IO from 3.3 to 0 to 3.3V generate spurious I2C signals? Other questions we have are:Will the INT1/2 signal operate correctly when Vdd_IO = 0V? We want to use one of these signals to wake-up the MCU.If we set CS = 0V, will that reset the I2C logic in the LIS2HH12?There is a way through the registers to Soft Reset the LIS2HH12. Are there other ways to reset the I2C bus if it gets 'stuck'? Ideally, we do not want to put a separate power switch in for the LIS2HH12.Thanks all for any answers or feedback.

I was using STM32CubeMonitor v1.30 on Ubuntu 20.04 without any problems. After upgrading to v1.4.0 my previously working flows no longer capture any data.My ST-Link V3 probe shows green on the "acq in" and "aqc out" nodes..When I click on Start Acquisition, my variable names show in the charts and gauges, but no data.I downgraded back to v1.3.0 and the Exact same flow works in v1.3.0.If I launch v1.4.0 from the command line, I see some warnings and an error. Is this a hint as to why acquiring data doesn't work?BEGIN ---- CLI log -----$ stm32cubemonitor (stm32cubemonitor:788869): dbind-WARNING **: 09:29:27.658: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. On the default image provided from ST, is there any way to check what color depth is running on it.I think it is 24bit but not sure. I ran modetest but no option to show this information.

The datasheet is a bit confusing. In my setup, the DAC1 saturates below 15mV. In addition, I'm not sure whether the ADC1 measures correctly below that voltage.
