In the setupscreen function:Screen1ViewBase::setupScreen(); digitalHours = digitalClock1.getCurrentHour(); digitalMinutes = digitalClock1.getCurrentMinute(); digitalSeconds = digitalClock1.getCurrentSecond();and in the handletickeventScreen1View::tickCounter++; if (tickCounter % 60 == 0) { if (++digitalSeconds >= 60) { digitalSeconds = 0; if (++digitalMinutes >= 60) { digitalMinutes = 0; if (++digitalHours >= 24) { digitalHours = 0; } } } // Update the clocks digitalClock1.setTime24Hour(digitalHours, digitalMinutes, digitalSeconds);But as shown below the time is the initial value (current time was 22:47) how can we fix it.
one box in the screen, then create a button on box, meant to change the color of box, when button pressed; simulator -> OK; but download to board, running denormal , when button pressed, finger off, button not release, still pressed state, why? (use STM32F429I_DISCO BOARD CUBEIDE)

Hello,Im trying to use the stedgeai generate command and want to move the data that gets located in the octoflash which seems to default to name=octoFlash offset=0x71000000 at times. Id like to relocate it at another position in the octoflash because i need to run several models. I tried adding the following that I found in an example and the output does not change at all from running it with the following options or not:--binary --address 0x810000or --binary --address 0x810000 --copy-weights-at 0xD0000000I found these examples via a search but as I said they dont seem to change the output.What am i doing wrong, I would like to change the default 0x71000000 to say something like 0x73000000, how can i accomplish this? I also tried to just change that in the network.c file, that didnt go well, just locked up the project at run time. Thanks

Respected Sir/ Madam, AS i'm using LORA-E5(stm32wle5jc) module communicating point to point Radio Frequency and AT Command also. We are config SubGHz for Radio Send and Receive Functions in Loop Mode . No Response received from this. By using AT command we need to flash any Binary Files? How to Communicate P2P Two Lora-E5 module. Thanks,
Hi techs, I have a problem with the LoRa configuration with the LoRa-E5 Development Kit. How to do the Pin configuration for the LoRa point to point communication. I have tried multiple ways to do but the communication is not happening, and I also tried the PA4 = 0 and PA5 = 1 pins are in Tx mode. I have used the CubeMX for HAL code generation. Can anyone tell how to do?
Hi Team,As we are going to use RAM – IC CY62136EV30 (TSOP-44) in our new project with ST micro STM32F407ZG (LQFP-144).Do we need any impedance matching for 6-layer board?Can you please suggest the same. Crystal frequency we taken 16MHz for the MCU.Thanks.Regards,Ashutosh

Hello, Is it possible someone to help how to generate 6 PWM signals with STM32H753ZI. They should be diphase on 60 degrees, im trying to reach 50 khz on each output at least. How to do it, please help me.Thank you in advance.Best Regards,
Please consider adding 5V tolerant pin mark to STM32CubeMX pin configurator.This would be very usable during pin configuration.
I am trying to follow the steps from the community link below and I get an unusual messingabout "missing natures" (see paste below) when I try to open projects from file system. I tried changingmy workspace location, but still get this message most of the time. Other FAEs are seeing this issue as well. Any idea what causes this? The suggestion solution is to install software that I have never heard about before. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Sonya https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-debug-stm32n6-using-stm32cubeide/ta-p/800547
I have problem that most headers are not visible so a lot of dependent problems occured.All files are present - the same project compoiled in STM32CubeIDE works.There is note that "clang(pp_file_not_found)"Tried to add paths in CMakeLists.txt but no luck.

I am trying to create two phase-shifted PWM waves on an STM32L4 TIM1 using asymmetric mode. From what I understand, I have to:enable output on GPIO channels 1 and 3enable output compare 1,2,3,4 and output compare 1,2,3,4 as asymmetric PWM modeThen, I setCCR1 = 0, CCR2 = ARR, and CCR3 and CCR4 to the outputs provided by the function below. Then I only enable channel 1 and channel 3 as outputs..?So output compare 1 and 2 work together to produce the first PWM on channel 1. And output compare 3 and 4 work to produce the second PWM on channel 3.This is what I understand from the graph on page 754 in the RM. But it is not allowing me to change the phase shift while still maintaining 50 % duty cycle on both waves. When I print my CCR3 and CCR4 values, they are exactly ARR apart, which would make me think that they should produce a 50% duty cycle wave. But they don't. I'd appreciate any help!static void tim_phase_shift(uint32_t ARR, float phase_deg, uint32_t *CCR3, uint32_t *CCR4) {

Hi everyone!I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my SPI Peripheral continous transmitting/receiving via DMA in Circular Mode. I think I have coded a pretty basic "Hello, World" for working with DMA, I've just generated code from .ioc file and then added a simple logic. Hello,I have made a custom STM32MP133D board and I am in the process of building the custom bring up. The bringup uses discrete regulators and not a pmic. I have followed the process of building the device tree for the TF-A and build the TF-A .stm32 binary configured for USB. The .stm32 successfully flashes but the code stucks on ASSERT: drivers/st/regulator/regulator_fixed.c:81 and Exception mode=0x00000016 at: 0x00000000 suggesting a null pointer and an underline issue with my dts.I have made the ddr memory tests for the pcb bring up and successfully passes all the memory tests using the tfa.dtsi ddr configuration.I have also attached the the device tree for the tfa.Can anyone help me with this issue?// SPDX-License-Identifier: (GPL-2.0-or-later OR BSD-3-Clause) /* * Copyright (C) 2025, STMicroelectronics - All Rights Reserved * Author: STM32CubeMX code generation for STMicroelectronics. */ /* For more information on Device Tree configuration, please re
Using Ux_Device_Audio2.0_PlayBack as an example for STM32H753, I enabled in the .ioc file, but it doesn't seem to be affected in the project. Any idea why? In the .ioc, I have this `UX_DEVICE_CLASS_AUDIO_FEEDBACK_SUPPORT` enabled... should be affecting ux_user.h But ux_user.h is not being used in the project, so I don't think it's actually being built into the .elf file. I also can't find the file in the STM32CubeIDE project as well, although it is under `USBX/App/ux_user.h` in the system explorer... Here's the Project explorer in the IDE: and even opening each of those *.c files doesn't reveal ux_user.h. Lastly, I do have UX_INCLUDE_USER_DEFINE_FILE in the preprocessor: Am I missing something?
Hi,I am working on an application for the STM32N6 (using zephyr) that streams data from four SPI interfaces (SPI1, SPI2, SPI3 and SPI6) via Ethernet (UDP). I am using full-duplex SPI transfers and GPDMA1.Everything works fine up to SPI clock frequencies of 22MHz on all four SPI interfaces. However, as soon as I increase the SPI clock to beyond 25MHz, I start getting DMA transfer errors and erroneous data in my buffers. Obviously, 22MHz full-duplex on four SPI interfaces is already quite fast, but if possible, I would like to go beyond that.I know that Ethernet is not the bottleneck here, since this happens even if I do not stream all data over Ethernet.I was just wondering: Is this performance expected, e.g., due to the high load on the memory bus? What measured could I take to increase performance further?Thanks for your help!
Hi,We're working on a new open source wildlife camera system and planning to use ST's 1.5 Mp and new 5 Mp image sensors with an STM32N6x7 series MCU for routine MIPI CSI-2 camera interface, ISP, h.264 video encoding, storage and possibly CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) inference with a separate STM32MP25x booting embedded Linux when advanced functionality is needed.We were wondering if it would be a practical possibility at all to use an STM32MP25x series MPU with bare metal for routine MIPI CSI-2 camera interface, ISP, video encoding and storage tasks as well as for running embedded Linux or if this would be a theoretical possibility but potentially practically difficult to implement?Moe about ST image sensors:https://www.st.com/en/imaging-and-photonics-solutions/industrial-consumer-cmos-image-sensors.htmland about our conservation work:https://new-homes-for-old-friends.cairnwater.com/quick-summary-new-homes-for-old-friends-belgium/Thank you for your help! / Mer
Hello,I am having an issue writing the Hardware Config in the HSO Motor Pilot. I was able to do this with my previous set up, but recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Along with the OS upgrade, I also installed the latest releases for all the ST software so MC Workbench went from V6.3.2 to 6.4.1. I am wondering if this is a Win 11 issue or a MC Workbench issue, or possibly a debugger setting issue?Components Used:MC Workbench V6.4.1STM32CubeMX V6.15.0STM32CubeIDE V1.19.0B-G473E-ZEST1S Control BoardSTEVAL-LVLP01 Power BoardProcess:Generate project in MCWB (Sensorless HSO option) - if errors finish generating in CubeMX - Open in CubeIDE - Build / Flash with default debugger settings via USB to onboard USB STLINK - Connect to MotorPilot (Connects fine, can tune, edit values) - Select Hardware Config (either Read / Fill from UI / Import, all with same result) - Click "Write" then the board doesn't reconnect.The errors I get in the connection bar either say "Port Open and try to
Hi!I have an issue with the upgrade process of the X-CUBE-FREERTOS plugin. It happened upgrading to 1.3.0 and to 1.3.1 as well: the list of tasks defined in CubeMX seems to be retained in the CMSIS RTOS2 tab as well as the other settings, but when regenerating the code the definitions disappear, and they have to be entered again,Is there anybody else with this issue? Could this be a bug? Configuration:STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1STM32CubeMX 6.14.1X-CUBE-FREERTOS 1.3.1

Please read this post: How to insert source code.Hallo,I am trying to measure the frequency of rectangular signals. the borad I am using is stm32f411-discoI used the timer 2 channel 1 for input capture. at every capture the timer value will be sent to memery by uing DMA. The DMA seems working, because I printed the captured value periodically. the DMA-Buffer is two, and it is working in a circular mode.I try to do some calculation in the interruption-function: "void HAL_DMA_XferCpltCallback(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma)" like this: void HAL_DMA_XferCpltCallback(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma) { if (hdma->Instance == DMA1_Stream5) // MCU-abhängig! { uint32_t first = IC_Values[0]; uint32_t second = IC_Values[1]; if (second >= first) diff = second - first; else diff = (0xFFFFFFFF - first + second); /* Timer läuft mit 1 MHz → 1 µs
Hello,We are using an STM32MP151 on a custom board and facing an issue with USB device connection via EHCI (USB 2.0).Problem description:After issuing a PORT_RESET, the J/K chirp sequence does not start, and we get a timeout error.If we disable EHCI and use OHCI, the device connects successfully.Hardware difference compared to evaluation board:Our design does not include a high-speed hub IC.The USB Type-A connector is directly connected to the STM32MP151.Questions:Has anyone experienced similar behavior on a custom board without a high-speed hub?Are there any hardware design requirements (VBUS, RREF resistor, clock quality) or Device Tree settings that need to be adjusted for EHCI operation?Any recommended debug steps for this issue?Additional info:Kernel logs show timeout after PORT_RESET.OHCI works fine for full-speed devices.Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!
