Hello Respected Members,I have a bootloader in CPU1 at address 0x08000000 and an image at 0x08024000. I have different BLE services in bootloader and in image. Problem is, once CPU2 has been started by bootloader, it jumps to image and hence the services of image cannot be loaded, BLE stack does not advertise. SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_READY event is never received in image as bootloader has already received it.I read about SHCI_C2_Reinit() in How to build wireless applications with STM32WB MCUs - Application note (AN5289). So, I called it in bootloader before jumping to image. But alas, I still did not get SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_READY. I need help in correct usage of this SHCI_C2_Reinit() so I can reinitialize different BLE services in image when jumping from bootloader.
Hi Team, Could you please assist me with the following situation: CANFD is working with FIFO0, but not with FIFO1, same config, using STM32G0B1KEU6. I am using same channel, FDCAN1. I will attach both files for refference. Thank you in advance, Aleksandar.
Hi,I would want to know the default I2C address of the STSAFE-A120 and if it is possible to change it, as it is done in the A110.In addition, is there any documentation about the content of the STSAFE-A120 I2C registers?Thank you in advance.Regards,Luis
Hi, I'm on a applicaiton involving USBX MSC and FileX. The final memory for the application is a NOR flash so I also use LevelX.Acutally, I'm working on a nucleo-U575ZI-Q without NOR flash so I use NOR Simulator on LevelX.My problem is that a file created with FileX is detected by windows, have the right number of bytes but data are wrong. My program do this:1) FileX format the device2) FileX create the file STM32.TXT and put the data "This is FileX working on STM32". I can see this data on the RAM3) FileX close and open the file STM32.TXT and I can read the text4) FileX close the media.5) USBX open the media and on Windows I see the file STM32.TXT but data are not correct. It's like if this data comes from another part on my RAM.When the device is connected to a computer, I can create new file, write on it then unplug / plug USB and the new file is still here. I can also edit STM32.TXT.Has somebody an idea about why FileX can read right data but windows doesn't read
Hello,We are working with the STM32MP257F-FK Discovery board and are facing an issue while calculating the signature of a memory region. We are following the recommended sequence for initiating the signature computation. The CRCEOC flag is being set as expected, indicating that the operation has completed. However, the resulting CRC value in the corresponding register remains 0x00 instead of the expected signature.Could you please help us understand why the CRC result is not being populated and advise if there are any additional steps or configuration requirements specific to this device?Below is the exact sequence we followed, as documented:Write 0x0 to CRCC[1:0] in RAMCFG_xCCR1 to deactivate the CRC.Write 1 to SRAMHWERDIS in RAMCFG_xCR to disable hardware erase.Select the buffer size for the CRC computation by configuring CRCBS[2:0] in RAMCFG_xCCR1.Write 0x1 to CRCC[1:0] in RAMCFG_xCCR1 to activate the CRC.Write 1 to CRCCS in RAMCFG_xCCR2 to start the CRC computation. As per the refere
I get a Unhandled: on_readmemory_request not available in PyDevJsonCommandProcessor. error while debugging other python projects. This issue gets resolved when I disable the STM32Cub for Visual Studio Code Core extension and its related extensions. To reproduce: Open an existing python project or package (workspace)Launch the debug session. It tries to start the session and in a few seconds throws this error and stops the debugger.Unhandled: on_readmemory_request not available in PyDevJsonCommandProcessor. Please see https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/249341#issuecomment-3064965337

Hi,I have configured WB55 project in CubeMX but each time I reopen it, clock config isuue is displayed. When I change SMPS clock source to HSE error dissapears and I can generate project. But onviously it is not saved since next time I open it, error is back and cloc source set again to HSI. Is there way how to fix it or is it just bug in CubeMX? Thanks.David H.
Hi, I've mostly come up to speed with the STM32 environment by way of CubeIDE (with integrated MX, prior to the recent 2.0 switch). With this most recent update, it seems like the forward-looking direction is to migrate to VScode. So, I tried that - I installed the extension and all its associated extension pack siblings. I can see the ST logo on the left of the pane, with a clock icon on it that doesn't seem to ever go away. Clicking on it reveals three panels, with clickable buttons. The top two - launching cubeMX or Finder - seem to work (albeit with a bit of a lag), but nothing in the Cube Resources pane seems to work, everything gives an error like:command 'stm32cube-ide-core.command.open-user-guide' not foundAnd there are these moving blue lines above each pane that seem to suggest something is happening int he background, but after a half hour of sitting, they don't go away. Basically, I'm fairly confused how I'm meant to be interacting with this, and how to make the leap fr
Hello ST Expert, On our custom board - USB PD, it has 1. HW: TCPP03-M20 with STM32G0B1CBT6 2. SW: X-CUBE-TCPP 4.2.0 ( USBPD Application 4.2.0 - Dual_Role) 3. SW: Board Part tcpp0203 1.2.3 4. Tools: STM32CubeMX (6.15) & STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0 & STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD-1.4 May you guide how to fix below issue? Issue: a) When pluging a usb device (smart phone USB type-c 3.1) in /connect to our custom board, on the "STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD-1.4", we could see CC1/CC2 is detected, and it (SRC) starts charging the smart phone (SNK). However, only SRC, CCI/2 info is shown on the GUI; data role (UFP/DFP) info is not shown, etc. b) When we try to do Power role swtich, or try to get SRC's capacity by sending message to connected port on "STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD-1.4", it always shows the message is rejected. (* We already turned on support options on CubeMX - Stack Port 0 Parameters). All messages are rejected. c) Similiar to B), even we enable support all o
Hi everyone. I’m trying to connect a genuine ST-Link V2 to an AT32F415 MCU using SWD, but the debugger always reports “Target not detected” and shows Device Update: false. Here’s my setup: • SWDIO → SWDIO• SWCLK → SWCLK• GND → GND• 3.3V from the board is present (measured ~3.29V)• NRST is connected• Target is externally powered• Several different ST-Link drivers tested• STM32CubeProgrammer, OpenOCD, and ReFlasher all fail to detect the device• Different cables and different USB ports tested My questions: Does ST-Link V2 fully support SWD communication with AT32 (Artery) MCUs, or do I need an AT-Link?If ST-Link V2 should work, what settings or wiring should I double-check?Is there any special sequence needed to connect if the AT32 has read protection enabled? Can ST-Link V2 connect to a target that is running firmware which may have disabled SWD pins? Any insight or experience with ST-Link + AT32 would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello,I reviewed a material declaration report for the TS4990IQT online. The attached report lists the MFR item name as "AYX0*Q990ABH."Could you please confirm whether TS4990IQT and AYX0*Q990ABH refer to the same part? Also, does this part contain Dechlorane Plus?I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.Thank you,
Hello everyone,I am currently working with the BLE_AT_CLIENT example on the B-U585-IOT02A and have previously updated the integrated STM32WB5M according to the instructions in readme.md (Wireless Coprocessor Update). The example's start screen appears correctly (screenshot: BLE.png).However, there is a problem that, according to this article "Using the Bluetooth stack on the B-U585I-IOT02A board" by Javad Rahimipetroudi, should occur immediately at start-up and independently of a BLE connection:The command TX: AT+BLE_SVC=1 does not appear for me. Normally, this command should be sent automatically immediately after TX: AT. However, only TX: AT is displayed on my device (PC) and then nothing else happens.Question for the community:Is anyone familiar with this behaviour or know what could be causing the example to stop at initialisation and prevent AT+BLE_SVC=1 from being sent in the first place?I would be very grateful for any tips on diagnosis or possible pitf
Greetings, I have being searching for this diode but I had no luck. Markings: BEX 6BA (SG)?)This is an electronic control module (ECM) 12v for an ATV 2007 Polaris 450. I am trying to fix it and I need help to buy this little piece. Any help will be appreciated.Thank you.
Since Updating to new Version is always a lot of manual work i would kindly ask for a Change Log compared to the Major Version 6.4.0.The new Features / Improvements may justify/not justify the move from 6.4.0 -> 6.4.1.

Hello, Does ST have a tentative roadmap for supporting the STM32N6 series in the X-Cube-MCSDK?
Hello! I've been fighting with the MP13 for a couple months now in trying to enable reading/writing to the NAND, as well as configuring ethernet and keep running into issues with being unable to update the necessary registers for this. When writing to the extended truztone protection registers, no change is made. The clock's enabled, so that shouldn't be it. Within the reference manual, it states "ETZPC registers are write-secure (that is, read accesses are allowed by secure and non-secure domains, write accesses are allowed by the secure domain only". I've yet to figure out how to be in the "secure" domain to update these bits so I can actually use most of the features of this board without using Digi's yocto builds.Any thoughts/advice on the above?
HiDeleted all my first attempts, wanted a new clean start. Then imported the "Templates" part of the ST provided "stm32cubec0-v1-4-0" examples. But it won't run nor build (greyed out).It says "The selection cannot be launched, and there are no recent lauches" (See attached)I've been looking through to make one but with no luck. The built in Help is not providing anything.
HiI am implementing the ECDSA-P256 signing for a payload.I have checked the example code https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU3/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-U385RG-Q/Examples/CCB/CCB_Protected_ECDSA_SignatureThe example code shows that the software has an access to the private-key. Would it be possible to generate a private key using RNG which software/processor can not see and which can be used by the CCB to compute a signature. The same key can be used to get public-key. can I use this API HAL_CCB_ECDSA_GenerateWrapPrivateKey(). Would this key be persistence across reboot or do I need to store the wrapped key?
Hi,I'm using a custom STSPINF0 based board and successfully profiled my motor. Using motor pilot, I have obtained a start-up profile which I've also implemented in Motor Control Workbench (6.3.1) as shown below: I've interfaced STSPINF0 with nRF52832 over USART and I'm able to execute commands & receive data successfully. But, motor runs and stalls with Fault_over/ Duration type fault when I execute MC_StartMotor1(). I think using this command my start-up parameters are not executed.I want to know does Motor Workbench stored my start-up parameters in the firmware/ STM Cube IDE? If so, how I can start my motor using that stored start-up parameters?Otherwise, please guide me how can I manually implement & execute my above start-up parameters in forms of following commands before executing MC_StartMotor1() over USART:* - MC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1()* - MC_ProgramTorqueRampMotor1()* - MC_SetCurrentReferenceMotor1() Thanks
Hi teams,CPU: STM32U0Current RDP level: Level 1OEM1 RDP lock: Enabled.I had set the 128bit OEM1 key to the OEM key registers [FLASH_OEM1KEYWyR ]accordingly, and the written OEM1 key values was verified using their CRC values by reading OEM1KEYCRC register. Now I am trying to make the regression from level 1 to level 0 according to the user manual description [section: 3.5.1 FLASH read protection (RDP)]. But the operation was failed using my source code. Which is attached below#define STM32U0_DBGMCU_BASE 0x40015800 // Accessible to the software via the APB access port AP0#define STM32U0_DBGMCU_DBG_AUTH_HOST (STM32U0_DBGMCU_BASE + 0x100) // Debug authentication mailbox host register Could you please clarify the following doubts,1. The unlock sequence says, debug access port 1 has to be used for programming the 128-bit OEM1 key in the DBGMCU_DBG_AUTH_HOST register, but when I checked the DBGMCU_DBG_AUTH_HOST register base, it sa
I know this sounds super nitpicky, but the app icon on macOS is not sized per Apple's human interface guidelines. Can you fix the app icon on macOS so it looks like all other macOS apps? Thanks!
__LL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE macro presumes that VREFINT calibration value is from a 16-bit ADC. However, for STM32H723, the value I see (1522) is from 12-bit ADC conversion. So this macro returns incorrect value. On STM32H747, it works as expected (the value is 24074 which corresponds to 16-bit ADC value). I have not found any information about conversion width in the reference manual nor in the datasheet.#define __LL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE(__VREFINT_ADC_DATA__,\ __ADC_RESOLUTION__) \ (((uint32_t)(*VREFINT_CAL_ADDR) * VREFINT_CAL_VREF) \ / __LL_ADC_CONVERT_DATA_RESOLUTION((__VREFINT_ADC_DATA__), \ (__ADC_RESOLUTION__), \ LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_16B) \ )
Hello, Can I say that "IDLE" is equivalent to "RTO with 8-10 bits (depending on framing)"?Or are there some other subtle differences? My goal is to transfer received data with DMA and start interpretation of the data when nothing is received on the line which, in my application's world, is equivalent to an end of frame. ThanksJulien
