Hi ST Team,I am currently using STM32H563ZIT6 and STM32H755ZIT6 in my project. We are now preparing to move from prototype to mass production, with an estimated requirement of ~10,000,000 units per year.As we transition into production, I am facing some issues and have a few important questions:1. Industrial-grade reliability & supportAre STM32 devices supported at an industrial-grade level similar to NXP or TI?Since we are planning large-volume production, I would like to understand:What type of technical support can ST provide during production ramp-up?Is it possible to get a dedicated technical contact or mentor for guidance?2. LocationI am based in Coimbatore, India. Please let me know the support timeline and whether any local ST representatives or FAEs can assist.3. Current issuesFor reference, here are my recent queries on the ST Community, which are still unresolved:STM32H755 end-of-frame detection failing with EventFlags:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-softw
Hello everyone,We are developing a custom UART driver for the NUCLEO-U031R8 board where both transmit and receive operations are handled through interrupts (no HAL/LL blocking calls). However, we are facing a major issue: we are unable to reliably read from or write to the UART peripheral registers. We have tried accessing USART registers directly (e.g., USARTx->RDR, USARTx->TDR, ISR, CR1, etc.), but the values do not change as expected during runtime. Because of this, our interrupt-driven communication never starts properly. We have verified:Clock to USART is enabledGPIO pins are configured for the correct alternate functionNVIC interrupt is enabledCR1 bits for UE, TE, RE, RXNEIE, TXEIE are setDespite that, both TXE and RXNE interrupt behaviors do not match what we expect, and register access seems unresponsive.Has anyone encountered similar issues on STM32U0 series or this particular NUCLEO board?Any guidance or known pitfalls (clocking, low-power modes, register protections, etc
How to start with FileX using CubeMX?In CubeMX I enabled ThreadX and FileX with the default configuration, increased ThreadX "memory pool size" to 2k and enabled "Generate Init Code" for both.In app_azure_rtos.c, tx_application_define() function MX_FileX_Init() fails - tx_byte_allocate() returns error code 16. According to docs that means TX_NO_MEMORY "Service was unable to allocate a block of memory within the specified time to wait.".I get this error even when I substantially increase ThreadX "memory pool size" to 64k.Without FileX enabled ThreadX works - I created a timer which nicely blinks the onboard LED.I know FileX does not really require ThreadX, but I need it for other purposes. This is probably something simple, but I admit I am new to ThreadX.Tested with the latest CubeMX, STM32U5A9 MCU as well as NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q boards. Please advise.
Hello ST Community team, On the UM1472 Rev 8, the table 9 board revision history, it is mentioned that the MB997 initial rev is the B01 and the last rev is the F01. But on the https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32f4discovery.html#cad-resources, I’m not able to find the B01 and F01 schematic packs. For the bill of material, F01 is missing but B01 is available. Could you please check this . Nharkom zine. II
When trying to setup MBedTLS through CubeMX for the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q, CubeMX does not give the option to select LWIP as the TCP/IP stack in the MBEDTLS "Version and modes" configuration tab. The only options given are "None" and "User defined". Additionally, for the "RNG dependency", the only options are "SW RNG(no entropy)" and "Custom RNG(Custom entropy)". It does not detect that I have enabled hardware level RNG. If I try setting up a project for NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q, I have the same issue. I tried setting up the project so the Ethernet stack was on the M7 only, the M4 only, and both the M7 and M4 and none of these variations made a difference. However, if I try setting up a project for any single core F4 or H7 variant, like the NUCLEO-H753ZI, I am able to select LWIP and HW RNG(ST entropy). In fact, when I enable MbedTLS, they are auto selected. Please see the attached screenshots. This is the order always followed: Enable Ethernet RMII Enable RNG Enable FreeRTOS Enable LWIP Enabl
Hello,Im beginner,STM32H753 on the EVAL BOARD,Objective:At startup, the IAP is ignored with a condition on the jumpToIAPFlag flag that checks whether the reset is related to POWER ON or NRST (hardware button), which would therefore be a normal startup. The flag is then initialized to 0 and we jump directly to APP. Once in my APP, I want to be able to return to the IAP (by reading a bit on frames). At first, I did the same as for jumping from IAP to APP, but in the end, a soft reset should be enough for the jumpToIAPFlag to remain at 1 and not pass through the POWER ON or NRST reset conditions, and therefore my IAP menu should open. Everything related to frame logic, etc. is functional, but my APP to IAP no longer works since I started using a variable (jumpToIAPFlag) that is common to both my IAP and my APP. The result is that when I send the frame to open my IAP, there is indeed a reset, but my IAP does not launch. Instead, my APP launches as if my jumpToIAPFlag value h
Hii Team, I want know does PB5 and PB6 Support CAN interface on the STM32G4A1KEU6 AND STM32G491
I've done a fresh install of STM32CubeIDE on my Win11 computer. (Version: 2.0.0 Build: 26820_20251114_1348 UTC). I installed CubeMX through Help > Install New Software and then tried to open an existing projects .ioc file. This did not work, I got the following error (log also attached)The ioc file itself is fine. I can open it on other computers without a problem.I tried installing CubeMX as a seperate program, which works fine. I assume its the CubeIDE plugin that has a problem
Hi!I am working on a custom board design based on STM32MP157FAA1.I need to interface a MIPI display with the microprocessor.I am powering this microprocessor using STPMIC1APQR PMIC. As per the datasheet of the PMIC, the default output voltage from BUCK3 will be 3.3V and this powers VDD_DSI (Pin A14) and I am also aware that the microprocessor internally generates 1.2V for DSI section. Now the MIPI display I'll be using utilizes EK79007 LCD driver IC. The recommended VDD for EK79007 is 1.8V. I want to know if this display can be interfaced with the MIPI section of STM32MP157FAA1.I have added the data sheet of the display and also the LCD driver for your reference. Thanks & Regards,Cleatus Wesley
I am trying to spin a new motor with motor pilot using EVSPIN32G4. I am not able to run it. Hitting startup failure. Is there any quick and easy tuning guide available to tune a new motor and run smoothly?
If I enable USB host and TouchGFX without OS I get the following generated code: /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_USB_HOST_Process(); MX_TouchGFX_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */As you can see MX_TouchGFX_Process() isn't indented properly.I want this: /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_USB_HOST_Process(); MX_TouchGFX_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */
I am using STEVAL-MKI142V1 to read the barometric pressure by the LPS25HB MEMS sensor via SPI.The reading pressure always has a 3-4 hpa deviation or offset from the real value. (read by reference device)The RPDS registers already have values and not 0, as the datasheet states. The datasheet states that the accuracy of this sensor is +/- 0.2 hPa guaranteed without further recalibration or temperature compensation.I have also manufactured my own PCB equipped with LPS25HB, and I get the same offset and even larger offset. So, it is not accurate at all and has a large deviation and must have recalibration. The question is: if I did something wrong while PCB design, or during assembly, or it's a software issue. How to get datasheet accuracy without further actions after getting a working sensor PCB , just reading pressure ?

I have just purchased the STM32N6570-DK kit and have been able to successfully load and run the demo binaries. However when I have tried to generate a simple application like the LED Blink project I have been able to successfully get it running in the Cube IDE debug mode but once I load the .bin file into the external flash it will not run.I have followed the online tutorials by B.Montanari as well as read all the available documentation but nothing seems to be working.I have signed the fsbl.bin file to create a fsbl-trusted.bin file and programmed the external flash at 0x7000 0000 exactly as outlined in the tutorials but no luck. The code definitely runs on the kit in the Cube IDE debug mode so I am obviously missing some vital key setup when it comes to loading it from flash but I am unable to figure out what it is.I understand how the BOOT process works but trying to implement the process is a different matter. This is a basic operating requirement for using the STM32N6 so why
i installed x-cube sdk then i wanted to make project for an example but even tough i installed last version of cube mx program but i am taked that things all the time thanks for your help.
Hello,I’m working with an STM32N6570-DK, and I’m trying to run a very simple LED-blinking application as part of the FSBL.When I debug the project using STM32CubeIDE, everything works correctly and the LED blinks as expected.Next, I want to flash the FSBL application to the external flash, so I generated the header using the following command:STM32_SigningTool_CLI.exe -bin N6test_FSBL.bin -nk -of 0x80000000 -t fsbl -o N6test_FSBL-trusted.bin -hv 2.3 -dump N6test_FSBL-trusted.binI then put the board into DEV mode, connected with STM32CubeProgrammer, and flashed the image at address 0x70000000.After disconnecting, switching to FLASH mode, and resetting the board, nothing happens. The LED does not blink.Does anyone know what I might be missing or misconfiguring? Thanks for your help.

Hello community, I am currently considering capturing and analyzing BLE packets by using BLE sniffer, but for that I need the LTK used for decryption.BLE Secure Connection pairing does not directly exchange LTK, so I do not know where to find it exactly in BLE Stack.Could you please tell me how to output an LTK log by modifying the user source code?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Srouce]STM32CubeWBA/Projects/NUCLEO-WBA55CG/Applications/BLE/BLE_SerialCom_Peripheral at main · STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWBA
Dear community,we're using a Makefile Project with STM32H5xx and NetX Duo using the LAN8742When the code is generated, CubeMX is adding the line:.../STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1/Drivers/BSP/Components/lan8742/lan8742.c \twice to the Makefile which leads to multiple definition errors in Compile. The line has to be removed by Hand afterwards. I think this is malicous behaviour here.Best RegardsPascal
I have observed that on the STM32MP25 series running OpenSTLinux, the GPU OpenVX packages are correctly built and the *.so files are present in the rootfs. However, after the do_image step, these libraries are removed and are missing in the resulting ext4 image. Consequently, if I flash the image, the OpenVX shared libraries are absent. Here are the debugging details:The GCNANO_PACKAGECONFIG is correctly set to "egl gbm glesv1 glesv2 vg vx cl vulkan", and this has been verified.Other libraries are installed correctly. For example, in the rootfs: root@stm32mp25:/vendor/lib# ls libCLC.so libGLESv2.so.2.0.0 libSPIRV_viv.so libvulkan_VSI.so.1.3.3 libEGL.so.1.5.0 libGLSLC.so libVSC.so libGAL.so libOpenCL_VSI.so.3.0.0 libgbm.so.1.0.0 libGLESv1_CM.so.1.1.0 libOpenVG.so.1.1.0 libgbm_viv.so During the build, the OpenVX libraries are correctly generated in the rootfs. For example, I confirmed that libArchModelSw.so exists at: tmp-glibc/work/stm32mp25x-ostl-linux/s
Hello! I am a student studying STM32.First of all, thank you very much for your help. First of all, my main concern is that I would like to update the firmware on a board that has the G491RE mounted on it.However, we do not have an external ST-LINK, and only have a Nucleo-F411 board. Is there any way to use the Nucleo-F411 as an ST-LINK? Or is it possible to obtain the ST-LINK firmware?
please give me some advice to fix it. Thank you.
We are currently using the STM32WL5MOC module and are facing a serious issue with LoRa range. The communication range is not going beyond 1 meter, and the RSSI while receiving TX data is in the range of -100 dBm to -115 dBm.The same firmware and configuration work perfectly on the STM32WL55JC1 DK board, where we have tested both TX and RX successfully with good range and signal quality. However, with the STM32WL5MOC, using the exact same code, the range is very poor and the signal is too weak.

Please read this post: How to insert source code Hello We would like to inquire whether the STM32N6570-DK board and the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q board support Ethernet TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking). Additionally, we would like to know if there are any STM-provided drivers or libraries for Ethernet TSN for these boards. If such resources are available, we would appreciate it if you could share them with us. Currently, we are working on Ethernet transmit and receive functionality on the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q board using the driver generated from STM32CubeMX. However, we are encountering a HardFault when attempting to transmit in interrupt mode. The code execution jumps to the HardFault handler at the following segment in ETH_Prepare_Tx_Descriptors: if
