Hello ,I am using Nucleo F334R8 on a mobile battery-powered robot and I want to save data from my Analog input in order to be able check these data offline (connect to PC via USB after every experiment). My data are floating points from AnalogIn class with max. sampling frequency 100 (or less) Hz and my experiments will last maximum 30 seconds.I tried connecting to PC after the experiment without removing battery source but even then when the platform connects with USB it resets .What are the possible solutions from my problem?I have read about EEPROM memory in Arduino platforms but in STM32 there is not .All solutions are welcome but I am first searching for the one without an external card if possible.Giannis

I would like to run my modified stm32f0x.cfg in system workbench.Basically just added to turn off PLL before programming it. Whenever I try to modify this stm32f0x.cfg and run debug session system workbench detect change in environment and overwrites my changes into file with default script from openOCD. I can not find where AC6 keeps openOCD zip file that uses to overwrite my changes. If you are asking why I am doing this , it is because stm32f071 must have pre-divider set to 2 when using internal rc oscilator. Default stm32f0x doesn't do this and system and produces wrong system clocks. I would propose changes into this script but before I need a way to test them.

Hello team, I am using System Workbench IDE. I want include some peripheral header files like LCD 16x2 . Please tell me how can I includes these files in my project and connect with my project ?

Hello.I'd like to activate the Debug viewer for Cortex-M0. (STM32f030R8)I follow the instruction. (I attached the instruction file that I did.)but it did not work. The full code is also attached. Please review all things and let me know what i should do.Thank you very much for reading.Sincerely,Daseseong Yun.

some of the lines in debugging mode in the left column are highlighted in that lines only I can able to put a breakpoint.I assigned some instruction in non highlighted lines as well in that line  can't able to put a breakpoint.

Hi all,I have a custom board, MCU is STM32F103ZE, I want to debug from RAM but I don't konw how to set the truestudio.I konw how to do it in the KEIL, but for truestudio, I am a stranger.for example,I download the program A to mcu flash, it work well. Now I am debugging program B, I just want to debug B from RAM, when the board reset, it can run A. what's more, becasue not to erase the flash, it can save debug time.I konw there is an option in the "Target setting->code location", I choose RAM, and I need to change the "Tool Setting ->Linker script",but debug failed.flow is the Debug_STM32F103ZE_RAM.ld file/* Entry Point */ENTRY(Reset_Handler)/* Highest address of the user mode stack */_estack = 0x20010000; /* end of 64K RAM *//* Generate a link error if heap and stack don't fit into RAM */_Min_Heap_Size = 0; /* required amount of heap */_Min_Stack_Size = 0x200; /* required amount of stack *//* Specify the memory areas */

Hello,We noticed different behavior between J-Trace and I-Jet.We use both with IAR.It started on trying to trace code with stm32h743 eval board. we purchased j-trace for this issue, but it failed to trace code. Trying to do the same with I-Jet it succeeded without any issues. The next thing we did is to move from eval board to our custom board. The strange thing is that with I-Jet it does not go beyondHAL_Init->HAL_InitTick->HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM6_DAC_IRQn);Immediately after thins function it gets continuous interrupts on TIM6, and does not get beyond HAL_Init.(by the way, if I just program the application with I-Jet and attach to it after boot, everything works without issues, just the main steps with debugger get into problem). Is there any idea why I-Jet behaves differently ?Thank you,

Both the Arduino Due and STM Nucleo 32F303K8 resolution is set as 12bits.Digital speed is the instruction set a pin high and then low.In my code I avoided using loops so I coded the instruction 1000 times to get a more accurate reading of the instruction itself. The STM Nucleo 32F303K8 has a specified analog input of upto 5MSPS but it takes 187 micro seconds to get only one sample. Why on the Arduino IDE is the STM Nucleo 32F303K8 analog so slow? The Arduino Due manages 4.116 microsecond per sample, but on the digital test the STM Nucleo 32F303K8 is about 2.5 times faster.float time1;float time2;void setup() { // put your setup code here, to run once: Serial.begin(9600); analogReadResolution(12);}void loop() { // put your main code here, to run repeatedly: time1 = micros(); analogRead(A0); //1 analogRead(A0); //2 analogRead(A0); //3…………………  analogRead(A0); //999 analogRead(A0); //1000 time2 = micros(); Serial.println(time2

I am facing the error ,while upload the code into the board using the stmcubemx and atollic studio.

Hello everybody,I installed version 5.6.0 of STM32MatTarget and tried to use it by generating a code for a simulink simple blink LED project.I made the configurations as per the guide, but when I start the project on Atollic or CubeIDE I get the same result:arm-atollic-eabi-gcc: error: Files/MATLAB/R2020a/simulink/include: No such file or directoryWith version 5.4.0 this did not happen.Anyone have the same problem? I use the version of matlab / simulink 2020Thank you and good evening

Have a working code set that I was modifying. As I have a million times before, I set a breakpoint to check a couple variables. The breakpoints worked fine (with STlink 2). So I removed the breakpoints, and restarted the debug operation. To my surprise, the debugger stopped at the same line I had previously been breaking. The debugger window says:Temporary breakpoint 1, main () at ..\Src\main.c:164164   {No breakpoint number 2.Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.0x080046a2 in main () at ..\Src\main.c:295295      if (HAL_CAN_Receive(&hcan, CAN_FIFO0,50) != HAL_TIMEOUT)Thinking I corrupted my .project file, I went back to an old repository version of the code (different .project file and everything) and still, the debugger hangs. As I add code, the location of this phantom breakpoint seems to change. I have tried I have tried skipping all breakpoints, deleting all breakpoints, etc. I have tried deleting all the debug file

I can read one 8-bit byte from the EEPROM in a device. When I try to read another byte (or the same byte), The SR bit goes low which is anded with mask SPI_FLAG_RXNE (always 1), which yields a 0 and puts my code into an infinite loop. Many people online have the same problem, but the solutions haven't worked for most of us. I'm not using DMA or Interrupts for the read. Is there a document that contains the sequence of events that should happen during a read at low levels?

Hello! I 'm using STM32F407VGT6 Discovery. There was a problem with eeprom  93lc46b. How do I write and read correctly? And to adjust Microwire?Maybe someone has a code? Thanks for answers

Dear ST technical supportI'm working with a temperature sensor TMP102 and NUCLEO STM32F767ZI with I2C communication mode. CUBE v5.6.0 and firmware STM32F7 1.16.0, and SW4STM32.Well, I started to read the sensor and I tested the next commands:HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(); //it works properly and reads the sensorHAL_I2C_Mem_Read_IT(); // it works properly and reads the sensorHAL_I2C_Mem_Read_DMA(); //not working, value not updated, only when RESET is pressed on the nucleo boardHowever the first two commands work fine, but when I'm trying to use the I2C in DMA mode, this one is not working and only update the value every time that I press reset button of the NUCLEO board. I configured the CUBE project in CIRCULAR (correct one) and NORMAL mode, but no changes. The I2C in DMA mode should works similar to ADC in DMA mode, should update the value of the register if this one is configured as CIRCULAR mode, right? So, I don't know what else must be wrong with my code or IOC project. I'm attaching my proje

Hellow!I recently used STM32H755zit6 for a project, I can download the M7 code, but download the M4 code, the error will be "cannot load flash programming algorithm ! " , who can tell me what is going on? Thank you!

Hello, i've a question about the output pwm channel example.I load and run the example but i would like view in simulink scope the hardware outputs, how i can?the only way is setting in stm32cubemx the pinout channels as gpio ext interrupt?thank to all that can help me.:)

I am trying this but in uVision, under the Manage Run-Time Environment->Compiler->I/O, there is no drop down option for ITR as mentioned in the manuals. Options available are only only breakpoints, EVR and user. The manuals all assume this options is present.Debugger is STLink V2I am new to this enviroment and chip and have no idea what next to do.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am getting started with STM32F429 touch screen. I generated code using STM32CubeMX and then copied the touch screen project from the reference source code. I created a source folder and put all the libraries of the reference source code into it. When I build the project, some header file cannot be found although pressing Ctrl and clicking on the file name in the include lines still opens that missing file in source folderHere is my project directory tree and the error I gotLink to download reference project that I usedhttps://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-stm32138.html#overviewconsolearm-atollic-eabi-gcc -c -mthumb -mcpu=cortex-m4 -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -std=gnu11 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32F429xx -I../Inc -I../Drivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../Drivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/include -I../Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/CMSIS_RTOS -I../Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/portable/GCC/ARM_CM4F

My old PC motherboard's bios chips were corrupted and it's an old 1155 socket so there were no available replacements. I believe I have the necessary tools to attempt to erase and reprogram the chip, but I'm not sure what I need to do. There isn't much STM32 resources online to guide me through this, but I'll post some useful links which I've found at the end. But, due to COVID-19 and a nationwide lockdown, STM32 is all I can rely on.I've already downloaded the bios' .bin file for my motherboard and converted it to a hex format with this online tool.Attached is also my hex file. I can send my .bin if requested, but I can't upload it here as '.bin' is not supported.Any assistance or alternative solutions would be much appreciated.Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3HBIOS: Winbond 26Q64FVSIG (SPI interface)MCU: STM32F334R8I also have a FT230XS USB-UART communication implemented. Hello,I have a probably simple question: Where I can change ST-LINK Settings in System Workbench IDE. For example in ST-LINK Utility in Settings I can change Reset Mode to Software System Reset, and I don't know where I can find this setting in IDE.I have this problem without this setting changed:BR, Daniel

Hello I am trying to run a SIL on the STM32G431CBUx (Discovery kit) using the IIRFilter example, but I am getting this error:An error occurred while calling into the SIL or PIL target connectivity implementation. I tried runing a PIL earlier but it was giving this error:The timeout of 1 seconds for receiving data from the rtiostream interface has been exceeded. There might be multiple reasons for this failure. You should: (a) Check that the target hardware configuration is correct, for example, check that the byte ordering is correct. (b) Confirm that the target is running. (c) Consider the possibility of application run-time failures (e.g. divide by zero exceptions, incorrect custom code integration, etc.). Note (c): To identify possible reasons for the run-time failure, consider using SIL, which supports signal handlers and debugging. If you cannot find a solution, consider using the method setTimeoutRecvSecs of rtw.connectivity.RtIOStreamHostCommunicator to increase the timeout value
