Currently, questions are going in the Interface and connectivity ICs forum, but there don't seem to be any suitable labels:I don't think 'Low Power RF Solutions' really covers it?The Product Page on the main website comes under 'Wireless connectivity > Long range > NB-IoT products':So I guess that would be a good set of labels?
I'm trying to reply to a post. I'm logged in. I typed a response and attached an image with the "Insert Photos" tool. After hitting Reply, I see the message "An Unexpected Error has occurred". I've seen this a few times over the past week but didn't both posting this bug report until now.Anyone else?
When writing a reply, if the message includes images, parts of the post can be deleted after pressing the "Reply" button. This has happened many times over the last week. Since the data is deleted, there is no way to recover but to edit and re-enter that information. This is a big waste of time. Why is the forum software getting worse?
Since ~2 hours I get thousands of mails from notification@communitymailer.st.com mainly with STM8 stuff from the last years. What's going wrong here? Is it only me? I never was interested in STM8, just STM32...(I unsubscribed from "others: hardware and software" to survive the day.) P.S.: they all have the same init line like this:Hi mfgkw, Lina_DABASINSKAITE (Community manager) moved a topic in Others: hardware and software on 2020-09-08 8:15 AM: Where can I get the stm8s discovery dev.zip file? I would like to download the application code that is advertised with the eval/demo board but can't find it anywhere on ST.com. Thanks. They all seem to start with "Lina_DABASINSKAITE (Community manager) moved a topic in Others: hardware and software on " ...
See:User authentication service maintenance on 26 February (CubeIDE forum);User authentication service maintenance on 26 February (CubeMX forum).Neither of these says what time the maintenance is scheduled to occur. Temporary Unavailability of Server Update Pack – Maintenance on February 26 (in the VSCode forum) does give a time, but no timezone.
On some post now I get an errorHave been on this forum for 8 years or so, never had this issue..I tried to report a fix to someone, can't do that.. This is a great way to block uses reporting solutions. What is this ? Cannot find any link how to verify. Please help ASAPI also don't see Sidekick on any forum, is that related ?
In all the areas which currently have labels for the other peripherals. See: STM32H5E4/E5/F4/F5 with PLAY: boards availability?.
The current marking is one character per line and it bleeds into other posts. Looks very amateur. The new forum has been here for many years at this point, can we improve the presentation here?
Hi,When I posted a question, the following warning message appeared on the post:Marked as spam. This is the URL for my post.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-embedded-software-and/sd-card-read-issue/m-p/881342#M5615This post doesn't appear on the forum board and can't be found through searches...Best Regards,Karsten
See: STM32CubeMX 6.17.0 released by @Aimen1 The link to Getting started with Programmable Logic ArraY (PLAY) - stm32mcu is wrong:Link is: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_Programmable_Logic_ArraYshould be: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_Programmable_Logic_ArrayBut even with the correct link, the page is empty: And why is the URL case-sensitive anyhow? PS:In fact, there seems to be no information at all about this anywhere - see: So what's all this "PLAY (Programmable Logic Array) on STM32H5 4M" stuff, then ?
eg, here: It often seems to be used by "accident" by beginners. In this case possibly because, in the "extended" toolbar, it's in the place where 'insert image' was on the "basic" toolbar:
Hi,Using Safari 26.2 I'm unable to delete or edit my own posts. Does anyone else
The conversation window with the company's chatbot exhibits a glitch.Specific manifestation: The window flickers when inactive.Trigger method: After posing a question and receiving the AI's response, scroll down to the bottom of the conversation window using the mouse wheel immediately after the reply concludes to reproduce the bug. (This has only occurred once thus far; subsequent testing failed to replicate the issue.)The ST Community moderator has edited the post to comply with the ST Community language: English. It's been sat there "thinking" for several minutes now!Just putting "NUCLEO-G474RE VCP" did get an answer
Hello, I can't download any software from this, I mean st.com. After popup with License Agreement download doesn't start. I am only one with this issue? Problem occurs on Mozilla Firefox. On Chrome it works fine.
The new STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0 workflow tutorial covers only C - not C++ See: Create a new stm32 project correctly on 2.0.0 and use C++ for it. Edited to correct 2nd link.
Tody I got an email notification: "The post Re: Is STM8 recomended for beginners? was moved by Maxime_MARCHETTO1. Reason: Post removed due to generative AI. Explanation: Breach of the ST Community guidelines for AI content use case: https://community.st.com/t5/community-guidelines/why-predominantly-ai-generated-posts-and-replies-on-the-st/ta-p/633785"I have never used AI to generate any text for a forum post, neither on this nor on any other forum. I cannot see which post was removed, since the link to the removed post just gives me an "Access Denied" error page. The linked Community Guidelines only state that AI-generated posts will be removed, and "in some cases" the users banned. However, I see no information on how ST determines if a post is AI-generated, how users can appeal decisions, how false positives of whatever mechanism ST uses will be handled.
In this post, clicking on preview of the relatively large txt attachment, scrolling down to its end reveals a "Download file" button. Clicking on that button displays a surprising "this file could not be downloaded" message. The file can be downloaded normally, though.JW
Here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32f7-hard-and-memory-faults/m-p/866383/highlight/true#M290480The red message appears on clicking the 'thumbs-up' button. Win-11 with Chrome browser: Version 143.0.7499.42 (Official Build) (64-bit) PS:Chrome just updated itself to Version 143.0.7499.170 (Official Build) (64-bit) - no change.
The "Virus scan in progress..." message is gone, but attachments are still behaving funny. Issue 1: 2 out of the 3 attachments here cannot be accessed. Clicking on them does nothing and the "download" icon is missing. https://community.st.com/t5/others-stm32-mcus-related/facing-difficulties-in-interfacing-stm32l433-mcu-to-vcnl4040-i2c/m-p/861339 Issue 2: I've also noticed that image attachments can't be viewed directly in the past week or so. Trying to click on the png attached here shows an error instead of showing the image. https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32l433rct-freezing-lock-up-problem/m-p/865559/highlight/true#M290358 The download icon works and once downloaded the images can be viewed directly. They appear to be valid PNG files. Seems forum functionality is going backwards. Split this to a new thread if you want. Seems related IMO.
Post moved from STM32 Sidekick announcement It doesn't seem to work with Firefox (146.0), the yellow icon appears and immediately disappears, Regards,Hans.

PS:So the HTML is not invalid; it may be unsupported - but it's not invalid.
Here, in the thread "Over Current on STM32 Board", the same thread is listed as 'Related Content' !:face_with_tears_of_joy:It's not "Related" content - it's exactly the same content! I think this happened because I came to a specific post within that thread (from a Notification) - rather than a link to the top of the thread?
