Sometimes I update old replies/post with small corrections (grammar or formatting) or adding additional comments (maybe the solution is outdated for a newer version of a toolchain and I will expand the solution for the newer version, for instance, or updating outdated links). Now I can no longer do that for comments older than a day. The button is missing. For newer posts it does have the button:It's very annoying. Are those new restrictions? What are the exact conditions? Don't tell me my spelling errors are now forever frozen in time and all answers will become outdated and obsolete?
I'm sure this is not the right place to ask for this, so apologies for that, but I have suggested this easy change every time the automated survey form comes up (I'm beginning to suspect nobody actually reads them....) Can we have an option that allows you to select the number of posts per page? The default of 10 is not enough. It could (should) be just next to the "Sorted by:" option at the top. (Assume people delete cookies after every browser session, so don't rely on some "preference" that has to be changed deep in some menu system). I don't visit this site as often as I should, and it would be a great help if I could see many more posts per page. That way I could quickly scroll down (or search) the page to see if there is anything relevant to me. Thanks.
Hi,I tried to report this problem to OLS but they seem to be not listening to my issue. I hope to explain the problem further here so that (like the OLS) you don't just tell me that the problem is with my computer.I have a number of people (including myself) that cannot log in to the ST website or register an account here in Australia. I personally have tried three different operating systems, two different internet connections, three different browsers, and even one fresh install of linux in a virtual machine and all three show the same problem. I have also had multiple colleagues try on their computers on different internet connections and they too are not able to log in properly. The login is also broken in CubeIDE.The problem with the registration form is that you cannot submit it. The problem with the login page is that you submit it and it just redirects back to the same login page without logging in.If I try to submit on the login page with an incorrect password, I get the error
Insert emoji: does not work. I don't miss it - contrary, I call for removing the unnecessary stuff like this. We don't need Comic Sans either, if you know what I mean. JW
Moved to Feedback Forum - this is the place discussions about the forum itself.Yesterday I started to receive notification of every post made on forum. I did not change anything in my settings and looked to verify there is not a setting to request this. Anyone know how to stop it?
I want to delete my account and data and couldn't find an option to do it.
@Laurids_PETERSEN announced on 30 Sep 2024 that Zip files should now be allowed as attachments:https://community.st.com/t5/feedback-forum/please-support-zip-attachments/m-p/580074#M356https://community.st.com/t5/feedback-forum/community-forum-attaching-files/m-p/726160/highlight/true#M1840 But @DK.7 reports it not working:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/is-it-necessary-to-install-stm32cubemx-to-install-dsp-library/m-p/765173/highlight/true#M271467
Does ST provide these manuals in a format other than pdf? Maybe an XML or HTML webpage format that you can click through?
Dear Customer, We are unable to post invoices to your site my.st.com/stparc because indicates an error message: "Application ErrorYour request cannot be processed due an internal application error. Please contact the technical support. We apologize for the inconvenience."
This morning:Is it intended that the 'STM32CubeMX 6.13.0 code generation issue for STM32CubeIDE toolchain on macOS is fixed' post is listed twice?
This is what I see when writing a new message in the community (or creating a new post). Notice the </> option to insert code snippet. However, en clicking on the `...` option to expand it, the </> is gone, and I can not find a way to collapse the options to what it was before. It would be nice to have this fixed. Many thanks.
Hello! I was wondering if anybody has successfully called into the Singapore Sales Office and Representative at +65 6216 5000. I have called multiple times, nearly more than 10 times already, the phone always rings but no one picks up. Is there any other number I can call?
Under STM32 MCUs software development tools, there are only ST's own tools:There needs to be one for "Other Tools" - for all the questions about Keil, IAR, and others ...eg, just now:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/error-in-simulink-no-stm32-mcu-connected/td-p/734507earlier today:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/error-when-compiling-with-makefile/m-p/734283 last week:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/stm32f746-iar-qspi-verification-error/m-p/732202
I haven't seen a 'Mark all as read' option - am I just not looking in the right place?ie, how to un-bold all of these - without having to open each one individually:
Example today:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/how-to-do-a-amp-quot-page-down-up-amp-quot-with-a-list/td-p/748977 I see similar about once a week ? PS:Interestingly, a search for "&quot" seems to interpret that as quotation marks:
Cannot move this post to STM32 product forum.https://community.st.com/t5/stm8-mcus/sbsfu-stm32h7-script/td-p/757483Tried to check several options - nothing helps. "An Unexpected Error has occurred.".Otherwise the forum seems to work (can post normal replies to existing posts).
When I click on the quote tool here in the forum, the entire OP is quoted. Most of the time, I want to quote a section of it or a section of a response in that thread instead of the OP. Thanks,
..
First, it is nice that the forum does now have some quoting ability at all; that's an improvement - thanks! But it is rather klunky:1. It only ever quotes an entire post in full - this is usually not helpful/useful.A decent quoting feature would allow a part of a post to be selected and quoted.2. Once you're inside the quote block, it seems impossible to get out of it. The 'Clear formatting' button doesn't work.
I think these pinned topics are no longer "news", and should be un-pinned? @Amel NASRI
Dear ST Team,Please add the date of release somewhere ease to seehttps://www.st.com/resource/en/release_note/rn0114-stm32cubeide-release-v1170-stmicroelectronics.pdf Yes, can be traced indirectly by document revision, but that is suboptimal in my view. What do you think ?Thank you
This now seems to be the place for posts that don't fit anywhere else. Therefore the available labels need to be a lot more generic.Example:None of those labels fits that post.suggestions:Other HardwareOther SoftwareInterfacing3rd Party PS:Maybe 'Other Software' should be subdivided; eg,Other Software (embedded)Other Software (host)Other Software Tools
Moved to Feedback forum for better visibility & discussionThis post is response to this posthttps://community.st.com/t5/community-guidelines/how-to-write-your-question-to-maximize-your-chances-to-find-a/ta-p/575228 Ideas:1. Auto insert link to this 'how to' guide to the body of new post.2. auto insert into title some variation to "Briefly describe your problem (~10 words max)"3. Auto insert fields/form template to fill in by user eg MCU, platform, tool version etc.
Anybody has a contact with STM s site in Catane ( Sicilia)?Thank you in avance !
