Good morning,I placed an order a few weeks back, and it is showing that is being on hold for some reason.No problem, I will contact customer service. Except:- the "contact us" link on the order acknowledgment email sends me to an "invalid page" (see attached ST_1.png)- going on the ST website and clicking on "contacts" shows me a page where I can choose my country (UK). Once done, is shows me an email address Contact.uk@st.com. (see attached ST_2.png)Attempting to send an email to that address fails because the address does not exist at ST.com. (see attached ST_3.png)- the website is also very slow, occasionally timing out for now reason. This has been mentioned before, in messages as old as six months ago, and yet there seems to be no improvement.This makes the whole experience of dealing with the ST website frustrating, which is a shame because your products are very useful.For now, can I please have a contact email to send a request about my order status?

I was going to buy a few STM32 boards from the eStore with the free shipping a few days ago, but it was showing it was no longer free shipping, so I just abandoned the cart.  Today I got an email advertising free shipping until Nov 30 trying to get me to buy the stuff I left in the cart.  As should be obvious, December 2nd is after that date, and thus clicking the link to buy the stuff with free shipping just gets me back to where I was.  You really shouldn't send out emails offering expired offers (or should make the link work with free shipping if that is your goal).

Hello Everyone, My name is Konstantinos and it is my very first post in this community so please forgive possible mistakes. Im posting here since i failed to find any "introduction" topics.I work as PCB repair electronics technician and when it comes to programming i have only moderate knowledge of C language and little experience on programming MCU's. I started with arduinos and hope to get to learn stm32 mcu's. As you probably figured i have 0 experience with stm32 and i would like some guidance on where and how to start. Any advice appreciated.Thank you all !

I repeatedly encounter the issue of not finding suitable 3D models for ICs from ST. There are some library providers that offer not only symbols and footprints but also low-quality 3D models. However, I tend to create the libraries myself, both for work and personal use. This is because the libraries from various providers seem either poorly made or poorly automated. But that’s beside the point—I would greatly appreciate it if all 3D models for ST products were available for download on the product page alongside datasheets and application notes.Although I have managed to extract 3D models from larger 3D assemblies, such as NUCLEO boards, this is incredibly time-consuming. Thank you very much.

Hello, this is not for MCU but a remark for the forum software: the overview page only shows the start date of a thread. At least for me it would be helpfull to also see the date of the most recent post. That way, it is easier to see if  new post where done to a thread after my last visit. Thanks   PS: Why is there no "Location" like "Forum" to discuss problems and enhancements to the forum?

It seems that the forum has had a makeover while I've been away on Other Things?It seems that links to (some?) old posts (from before the update?) are now broken; eg, in this post:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/current-consumption-in-stop-mode-using-b-l072z-lrwan1/m-p/448139/highlight/true#M14437As you can see from my edit there, the referenced content does still exist - it's just the link that's broken.Also links in old notification emails are now broken.I keep these as a quick way to find important posts/threads - so it's a pain that they're now useless.

When we post in "STM32 MCU Products" category, there are per-series labels.But no such labels in ":Embedded Software". This is a pity because the firmware libraries may be specific to the STM32 series.

Hello,   I asked this several times, with no avail so long, lets try another time: E.g. "https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32-32-bit-arm-cortex-mcus/documentation.html"sorts the documents alphanumerical by their name. In most cases not very usefull. There are up and down arrows right to "Latest update", but regardless if you click up or down, now sorting is with oldest first, Only a second click on any of the two arrow sorts by newest first. This is what returning user wants to see: What document has changed. And for a new visitor, all three sorting manner have no avail. => Make sort by newest the default!   Thanks  

When logging in to community.st.com, there is a checkbox for "Remember me on this computer". In all other systems that have this option, it sets a cookie in the browser with a reasonably long timeout (one month or so) and is renewed whenever the site is revisited. For this site, however, that checkbox does not seem to do anything. I must log in over and over and over again. Frustrating and harms usability. Does this actually work as expected for anyone?I have verified that my cookie settings are the defaults for st.com.

We have dozens of tags ("labels") e.g. in the STM32 products subforum. This might be an useful tool to select relevant group of posts. However, the window, where the "labels" are selected is too small, displaying only perhaps half a dozen of tags at one time. The "previous/next" buttons might be a somewhat clumsy solution, but they are not, as one can't rapidly click on "next" to get to the needed group of tags, because the window resizes thus the "next" "jumps" from below the cursor.Can this please be somehow improved and make actually usable?Thanks,JW

To the keeper of the community forum.HiI tried to attach a small test project written with STM32CubeIDE. I tried it as a zip, but that was not allowed. The advisory for the file attachment wrote that .tar files were allowed.  I used 7zip to make a tarball, of 9.3 MBytes. It seemed to upload; progress bar etc, then disallowed the tarball. The post i wished to attach the file to was:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32-cubeide-how-to-set-values-in-dtcm-to-non-zero-values-using/m-p/724368#M261855 We were able to upload such files in he old version of the forum, why not now? Is it a security issue or what?Is there a work-around?It is quite frustrating. Simple problems can be articulated with code snippets etc in the body of the posts, but having a working complete working program  enable users to work through the code in its entirety and see the context of the code within the project.Kind RegardsRob 

What is going on with STM's website.  No downloads work.  I am on a new PC, no addons, latest Chrome.  Based on my experience in the last 2 years and looking the ST Community, this is a recurring problem. I can download packages thru STM32CubeIDE on an existing installation on another PC.  Those same packages (like TouchGFX) will not download via their website. ST is a huge company with many resources.  I am not interested in continuous workarounds.   I am not interested in spending hours of my time trying to download something that should take 5 minutes. I know the files are "there" in some bucket.  It really seems like ST isn't capable keeping a working website. Why should I even use STM's products if it's going to be a huge headache every time just trying to get software? What choice do I have but to phase out existing designs and abandon ST on new designs?
