Hi I have red the reference manual if STM8S001J3, but I still confused whether pwm is the same as TIM ? But when I checked in the section of TIM1, TIM2, adn TIM4... Only TIM1 and TIM2 that have pwm mode. Does it mean that STM8S001J3 only has 2 pwm modes ? Then I checked the TIM timer table, it does include the counting mode. TIM1 has counting mode of Up/down while the other only has Up counting mode, does that mean that when I reach a value of 1024 (just an example), it cannot come back again to 0 (example using potentiometer) ? also, I'm searching for any microcontroller that has 3 pwm modes that could count up and down but in SO-8 package.
