Hello,
I encountering different proxy setting issues to configure my ST applications. I have a Ubuntu 24.04 environnement and I rely on a company proxy.
What is currently working for installation and/or refresh updates :
- STM32CubeAIStudio (v1.2.0) : manual proxy configuration with user and password authentification (no SSL certificates)
- STM32CubeMX (v6.17.0) : manual proxy configuration with user and password authentification
- STEdgeAIcore (v4.0) : systems proxy settings (for installation only)
What does not work :
- STM32CubeProgrammer (v2.22.0) : impossible to refresh updates. I have identified that the manual proxy configuration displays fewer erros than others. I have also tried to update the certificates in tthe bin/jre/lib/security/cacerts file, but the connexion keeps failing (red cross symbol) while printing the following message in the terminal :
Unable to retrieve the certificate chain: Connection reset
The Analytics API is not enabled

- STM32IDE (v2.1.1) : same problem, impossible to refresh the updates. I have also used the manual proxy configuration with authentification. I have also tried to explicit the NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS variable. But this time the application outputs the following errors as if the authentification was not working :
Some sites could not be found. See the error log for more detail.
