STEVAL-FKI868V2 for LoraWan

Hi, Can I connect to the LoraWan network using the STEVAL-FKI868V2 evaluation board connected to the NUCLEO L053R8 board? Can this be done without using additional modules?

Pretty sure the S2-LP doesn't support LoRa modulation, that's patented by Semtech
