I would like to use a 3V lithium coin cell for SRAM battery backup & RTC, going into Vbat pin of the Cortex chip.

I would also like to monitor the health of the battery (Vbat) by connecting it to a spare ADC_INx pin.

Is this OK when the system is off (SCR latchup), will the leakage into ADC_INx drain the battery quickly ?

Big series resistor into ADC_INx pin ?
