Does the interface physically work, or not? If it works you can tailor your own software/tools to use them. I don't think ST, or anyone here (user forum) is looking to port a whole array of shields/functionality. People will no doubt port code for shield they themselves use. Open Source requires that someone puts forth effort to create the code in the first place, it doesn't spontaneously manifest out of the ether.
Perhaps the smart course would be to start one thread with all your thoughts/questions rather than half a dozen. This isn't an IM Chat/IRC channel.
