Revision code

Saredo
Associate III

Hi

To what does the revision code correspond?

I have not found any clear answer in the documentation.

Does a new revision replace the previous one? if so how to know which one is the most recent.

It refers to the silicon version. As errata are addressed, the silicon is revised and updated with a new letter. This happens maybe 0-2 times over the life of the chip, typically towards the beginning of the life. You can see which one is the newest by looking at the errata sheet.

For the F4 series, don't expect any new revisions. Any one you buy from a reputable supplier will be the latest revision.
