FSMC mixing Multipled and non-multiplexed busses

If I understand your question correctly, then the answer is No. Normally you will choose a bus mode for the micro, multiplexed or non-multiplexed, and that's the way it will be for your system.
However, this is not to say that you cannot have both multiplexed and non-multiplexed devices in your system. For example, you can choose multiplexed mode on the micro, and interface directly to multiplexed perperials. For non-mulitplexed perperials, you can add a 16bit address latch to the multiplexed address/data bus. The address latch would be controlled by FSMC_NL control line. The lower 16 bits of the address would be output from the address latch. This combined with the other non-muxed address lines and the data lines form your external bus.2011-05-17 04:43 AM
I would like to connect a external SRAM, a external Ethernet-Controller and a external NOR-Flash with seperate Bus/Adress-Lines and 16 (!) SJA1000-Chip's wich needed a multiplexed Bus.
