Is this just the standard STM32F407?
I saw the STM32F334 - this has a very fast HiRes Timer with 250 psec resolution, but unfortunately I think there centered PWM does not work (these HRTIM timers run only upwards). So I think this cannot be used for BLDC driving space vector PWM.
... just wondering whether there might hide somewhere some other STM32 controller with a very fast timer mode for space center PWM...
