Does TIM restart or resume

Hi,
how does the TIM behave if I perform a Disable/Enable sequence?Does it continue from where it were or will it restart from 0, (or ARR when downcounting)?/Peter

You mean, clearing then setting TIMx_CR1.CEN?
It does not influence the current state of the timer counter; rather, it gates its clock. See for example RM0090 ('F4xx) Fig.135 (and many of the subsequent figures in that chapter) - CNT_EN is TIMx_CR1.CEN delayed by 1 clock. JW
