If you can't make these determinations from available documentation, the answer is probably No, and you'll likely need to do the experiment and work up the code to come to a definitive answer. Or pay going rates for someone else to do the work.

I'm using the STM32F429 Discovery board. I see from the schematic of this board that it is using a 18 bit RGB interface which is fine. Also, it looks like the LCD is connected via a 48 pin FFC connector.
