ADC and GPIO config (Floating or Analog?)

Hi all,

by accident i noticed that configuring ADC's input pins as ''analog input'' or ''floating input'' seems to make *no* (visible) difference on the ADC conversion. in both cases results seem accurate.

Any explanation of why ''floating input'' seem to work?
