Hi all,
I design PCB with STM32F767 in LQFP144 package. I know that design guidelines suggested adding a decoupling capacitor on each VDD pin but by layout (tracks density) I don't have space for capacitors on each VDD pin (elements on only one side of PCB).
Will placing one capacitor on each side of the package be sufficient?
Has anyone already used a similar solution or has an example of a layout where fewer capacitors were used and the system was still working properly?
Many thanks for the help.

Using less decoupling caps than recommended will usually work, but will depend on what exactly your program is doing. There's no way to guarantee it will work without actually trying it. You will have more success if your temperature range and current draw is limited.
Decoupling caps are small. It's usually not worth the risk of a project not working for leaving them out.
