What is Dead Battery (DB) management in TCPP01-M12 or TCPP03-M20?

This is a smart management feature that activates internal pull-down (Rd) resistors when the system battery is fully depleted. When Rd resistors are connected, the Source detects their presence and applies 5V on V_BUS to wake up the sink and then voltage negotiation is possible. These resistors can be replaced by an MCU.
