Posted on August 21, 2014 at 22:41after performing a few sensor seeks using the ReleaseSW() and GoUntil() commands i have noticed that they do not use the same acceleration/deceleration. GoUntil() uses the programmed values, ReleaseSW() uses something else entirely. i've searched through the data sheet and can only see that ReleaseSW() will use 5 steps/sec for speed if the programmed min speed is not acceptable. the data sheet mentions that for all constant speed commands (of which these are, sec 6.7) the programmed acc/dec will be used but that appears to not be the case.
what am i missing?
