Is it possible to use Viper12A with a bridge rectifier input instead of half wave rectification?

I am using Viper12A as aux supply for sensors in a bigger Power supply system for sensors. I need to know if the line rectification circuit is possible using Bridge rectifier network. The output power needed is less than 1W with 16V output.

Thanks in advance.

You will find such a rectifier if you have a look at the datasheet of the VIPER12A, pg. 7.

So, yes, of course you can.

BTW: the VIPERs always "see" DC voltage coming from the capacitor behind the rectifier. It doesn't care if it is rectified using a single rectifier, a bridge rectifier or a 3 phase rectifier.

Good luck!
