Is ECMF connected to both Tx and Rx lines of both sides?

You showed in the demo that ECMF is connected on both sides of a USB cable for example. Is ECMF connected to both Tx and Rx lines of both sides?

I mean, does it filter Tx lines before signal transmission or Rx lines at signal reception, or both?

Yes our ECMF4-40A100N10 is connected on both sides. Even if we could consider that a common mode filter is only required for transmitter, we recommend to use our ECMF for receiver. Indeed, ECMF on receiver side need to be used to filter noise coming from Transceiver, or coupled noise on differential lines coming from system
CF AN4511 on Common Mode Filters.

These solutions are available on extended temperature range (Automotive)?

The ECMF2-40A100N6 and the ECMF4-40A100N10 are qualified for -55°C to +125°C temperature range but they are not AEC-Q101 qualified.
The ECMF4-2459A6M10Y features 9 GHz differential bandwidth and is AEC-Q101 qualified.

Are automotive grade versions are pin to pin compatible with industrial grade versions?

All Automotive ECMF part numbers in QFN-10L package (M10Y package code) are pin to pin compatible with industrial grade versions (M10 package code).

Is it possible to swap D+ and D-?

It’s one of the main benefit of our ECMF, D+ or D- can be switched because the structure of the ECMF is symmetrical. The most important is to place the +8kV ESD diodes protections side of our product on the same side than the external connector.
