I bought STGIPL14K60 ..I want to rectify the 3 phase input. When i rectify it , I got about 585VDC.  Can i connect this high voltage to the MODULE or not. 0690X00000605dMQAQ.png

Ciao,

From what is stated in the datasheet of STGIPL14K60 you can't use it.

It is designed to work with 450 nominal up to 500 of surge voltage so 585 is out of specs.

Ok..Thanks for the reply...Then How can i solve this problem. One method is simply using 1 phase input. But i want 3 phase input to be rectified since its ripples is lesser than single phase so filtering is simple.

So the rectified 3 Phase will be 1.35 times higher than the input. How to reduce it. What chopper circuit will be provided by ST.com I want the chopper control circuit should be completely isolated from microcontroller.

How to do it with ST.com

Thanks

Did you take a look at the eDesign suite?

You can find it

http://www.st.com/web/en/support/eDesign_Suite.html?s_searchtype=keyword

. It can be used to design a proper DC/DC converter.

Yeah...I already tried edesign suite many time. It only shows with VIPERplus Family. The Maximum power it can design is upto 30w. But When i want to do design 2kW. Edesign suite should use the PFC IC like L6562A.

So, You please check whether edesign suite will provide soultion for power supply with 2kW.
