Requesting the specific CXSTM8 installer Excecutable

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a legacy project utilizing the STM8AF5288TCY automotive microcontroller. For strict testing requirements, I need to rebuild the firmware using the exact development environment that was active in 2023.

The current version available on the Cosmic website is too new and introduces unexpected code generation changes. I am looking for the installer files for the Cosmic CXSTM8 compiler versions released throughout 2023 (ideally around versions 4.5.x or early 4.6.x).

Does anyone have the archived standalone installers from this period, or could an ST moderator assist in provisioning these legacy binaries?

For reference, my current environment setup is:

• IDE: ST Visual Develop (STVD)
• Target MCU: STM8AF5288TCY

Any help, official links, or shared installers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the ST moderators won’t be able to help you with that, as they do not maintain an archive of software, neither of ST software nor that of other manufacturers or partners. If, by chance, one of this forum’s very helpful users cannot provide the binaries, then probably only the manufacturer will be able to help, namely Cosmic.
