Identify 8-SOIC with marking MZ938 (more likely 0621 or O621)

I am trying to identify an ST IC with marking MZ938.  It is an 8-SOIC and it is used in a circuit which helps maintain charge on a 24V battery and is fed by a boost switching circuit.  It also has 0621 marked on it.  I assume that's the date code.

The marking is 062I (with uppercase i) = TL062ID.

Please attach a large, clear and in-focus picture of the IC

The MZ938 is likely a production code.

That angle gets the printed information.  Let me know if you'd like something different.  Many thanks for your help.

I appreciate the suggestion.  I will trace it out and see if this makes sense.

The marking is 062I (with uppercase i) = TL062ID.

That makes so much sense.  I'll trace more of the circuit to  verify and get back to you here later today.

Many thanks.

Looks good.  Pin 4 is ground.  Pin 8 is 12 V.  Pins 1 and 7 look credible as outputs.  Again, many thanks for your help.

Best regards,
