VIC3DA supply voltage

Hi,

We are looking at the schematics of the EVB-VIC3DA (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/evb-vic3da.html#cad-resources) and it looks like that the board could be powered at 1.8V but according to the datasheet the min recommended voltage is 2.97 volts.

Why is there a 1.8V option for the eval board?

Thanks.

Hi,

VIC3DA Datasheet says the device has to be powered at 3.3V typical voltage.

Min voltage = 2.97V

Max voltage = 3.63.

In pg.5 of VIC3DA, for U50 I see different voltage settings for 1V8, 2V2, 3V0 and 3V3. However except 3V3, none applies to VIC3DA.

We do have 1.98V jumper settings in LIV3FL, in fact LIV3FL can operate down to 1.8V.
