Hello I have stm32mp135f-dk board and OV6540 camera how can I connect them
After buildroot I'm trying to get the yocto build to work. I'm using openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-11-17. The boot process always stops on SP_MIN: Preparing exit to normal world. Yes, I have already read the https://st.force.com/community/s/article/FAQ-STM32MP1-bring-up-troubleshooting-guide. I do have the memory correct and I do not have any pins configured in &rcc. The same device tree file(s) works on buildroot. How can I debug this? The board I'm using is from MYiR (MYD-YA157C).Edit: I'm using custom machine, which is defined in layers/meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp-addons/conf/machine
Many examples use UART4 as debug output, in my particular design, UART4 are in an inconvenient location, so need to switch to another U(S)ART. In CubeMX following is available. From left to right, BOOT ROM, TF-A and OPTEE. currently I have USART1, 2 and 6 as an alternative.Questions:1.only USART1 shows OPTEE, why is this ?2 . USARTS 1 does not have a checkbox for A7 BOOT ROM. what does this imply for boot ? No messages ?3. Are there any other pro/cons for using one of these U(S)ART ?

Hello, we are trying to start our custom STM32MP157 board. We encountered some problems that I want to ask about. First is with TF-A, it gets to the SD card init (boot source) and it fails. We have eMMC on MMC2 and it also gives error message. I am working with the STM32MP157F-DK2 Discovery kit, and I would like to know if it's possible to:Run Yocto Linux (OpenSTLinux) on the Cortex-A7 cores for high-level application development.Simultaneously run a real-time Embedded C project (using STM32CubeMX or STM32CubeIDE) on the Cortex-M4 core for handling real-time tasks. If this is feasible, what would be the best approach to achieve this configuration? Also, what are the considerations or steps involved in managing inter-core communication between the two environments?
I am facing the Issue on Qt , i Downloaded the OpenSTlinux Distribution package , and i wanted to find the qt layer but i can't please help me out.
Hi everyone,I'm currently working with the STM32MP157 Linux board and need some guidance on setting it up for use with Google Chrome and .NET applications. Could anyone provide a step-by-step guide or any useful resources to get this done?Specifically, I'm looking for:Installation steps for Google Chrome on the STM32MP157 board.Configuring the board to work with .NET applications.Any potential issues or tips for optimizing performance.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks you

Hi , i have the custom board of (STM32mp157F-dk2), all the things are same but the ST-Link channel removed and many thing changes has done , there is added JTAG pin in place of ST-link port , so in Openstlinux distribution package any modification should i do. like in linux and u-boot , device tree, and menuconfig , drivers related , i do not know any thing for this one. just i am doing from scratch i need your support to start from the scratch.
The first logo appears, but the display behind it does not work. Looking at the error message below, it seems like there is a problem with ext4. How can I solve it? Or did something go wrong? I’m working on a project with the STM32MP157F-DK2 Discovery kit, I’m exploring the possibility of integrating GSM for internet access.Has anyone successfully implemented GSM connectivity on the STM32MP157F-DK2? If so, could you share your experience, including the hardware setup, GSM module used, and any software configurations or drivers required?I’d appreciate any insights or guidance on how to proceed.
Hi erveryone,I want to implement A/B partitioning functionality, not for updates, but to enable switching to an alternative ROOTFS partition if U-Boot fails to start the kernel. For example, if partition A fails to boot three times, switch to partition B and attempt to boot three times as well. Additionally, incorporate a watchdog to check for timeouts, and if all attempts fail, report an error.Currently, I have modified the contents of meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp/conf/machine/include, specifically st-machine-image-partition-stm32mp.inc and st-machine-extlinux-config-stm32mp.inc, and in the .tsv file, I can generate two partitions, rootfs_A and rootfs_B, and boot the kernel using rootfs_A. I have found some relevant information that mentions enabling CONFIG_BOOTCOUNT_ENV and CONFIG_BOOTCOUNT_LIMIT in U-Boot's configuration. I have set these in my menuconfig, but I am unsure how to use them or where to modify. I have only found that /drivers/bootcount/bootcount_env.c seems to hav

Hello We are Working on a custom board with STM32MP157AAA3 processor. We are using Buildroot(V2023.08.2) for checking USB 2nd Port in which the PHY port 2 is configured as host controller using UTMI . we referred the below link to configure the dts :https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/USBPHYC_device_tree_configuration We are configuring the USB in dts file exactly the same in Uboot (V2023.10) and Linux(V5.13), It works in Linux but not in Uboot We are attaching the configuration of our dts file below.Hope you could Verify it and suggest us where we are going wrong. Thanks & RegardsAkshitha Pattem
