On STM32MP1, how to use the internal temperature sensor, ADC2_INP12 and internal factory calibration?Any example? Is it possible to access these data via A7 or just on M4 ?
We have selected FC-12M 32.7680KA-A3 for our new project and we wre in proto 0 , as per datasheet & previous design , load capacitance selected as 11 pF ( 2 X 22 pF) but RTC init is failed in STM32.we tried multiple value and its init is successful at 2.2 pF.Can you please explain for below questionwhy init is failed at 22 pFwhy init passed only at 2.2 pFhow its working in previous projectHow to ensure this 2.2pF will work in Proto 1 design
Hi all ~I'm using our custom board with STM32MP157c MPU. I'm almost done with everything, and finally I'm going to change the u-boot and kernel splash images.I referred to the link for changing the u-boot splash image and I think it's very simple.https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000011v9OxSAI/custom-uboot-splash-screenBefore customizing the uboot splash as my own,First, the point I want to check is that the default ST u-boot splash doesn't appear. Our board uses the Parallel(RGB) display interface and has 1280x800 resolution.default kernel splash work fine. Is there anything I need to change in u-boot regarding the RGB interface and resolution?
Hello,we (me and @Daniel Laszlo Sitzer ) and are working with a product based on the STM32MP157A and using TF-A, U-Boot (but not OPTEE).We are in the process for transitioning from TF-A v2.4 to v2.6 and are tryingto understand how we are supposed to transfer the flash layout to TF-A via DFU.In TF-A v2.4 we used to transfer the flash layout as a STM32 image via DFU to TF-A BL2, then we would transfer a FIP containing another TF-A and U-Boot which would parse the flash layout and expose the correct DFU interfaces to allow for flashing individual partitions. We noticed that in TF-A v2.6 support for STM32 images was dropped but more importantly support for transferring the flash layout in plat/st/common/stm32cubeprog*_usb.c was removed. We have understood that by now only FIP is the supported image format for DFU file transfers to TF-A. So we would like to understand if we are supposed to pack the flash layout in to the FIP file that we upload (currently only containing TF-A and U-Boot
Please can you specify camera module for my application and please suggest any camera module that i can use according to the below mentioned camera specifications1)Camera should be of 5MP/2MP.2)Camera interface should be of DCMI protocol.3)Camera should have a night vision.

I have a strange problem booting from eMMC (Kingstone EMMC04G-M627-X03U) on STM32MP153CAA Rev.Z.By boot failure I mean fallback to serial boot (DFU over USB). Situation is as follows:Cold start never fails (Power-on Reset).Reset pin (Pad Reset from NRST) - have noticed issue maybe just once - not 100% sure.System reset generated by MPU or IWDG2 Reset - fails very often but not always. Haven't noticed any system in this behaviour.Setting both primary and secondary boot sources to eMMC greatly reduces chances of failure but does not eliminate the issue completely.Attached Boot ROM traces (without and with primary/secondary sources set) and current OTP values. Any help appreciated, thank you!

So I have seen several people say they used the Cube IDE to program the RA-08 from AI-Thinker. They say it was super easy and I love CubeIDE. but for the life of me I don't understand how they did it. Please help?
Can you please share STM32MP157F-DK2 discovery kit's latest demo software image link? How to flash image to STM32MP157F-DK2 discovery kit?
We have been using RPMSG_SDB driver from LogicAnalyzer example. By default, RPMSG_SDB uses common CMA area for allocating buffers via dma_alloc_coherent() We want to allocate SDB personal buffers from reserved memory regions. We adapted both device-tree and SDB driver. What possible displays mentioned below are suggested to integrate with stm32mpu boards for production purpose with doing less configurations? The touchscreen will show linux gui app.1. LVds with capacitive touch2. Rgb paralell dispaly with resisitive touch3. HMI display with capacitive touchPlease note this is industrial application. Are there any tutorials or procedures available on st homepage to easily follow and complete them?
Hello,I have several python modules I am trying to install that require building something in C. I've read through this and completed a build. I got to the part about adding layers and I'm lost. I've not built a distribution using these tools before and layers are a foreign concept. I can't tell a) what layer GCC is in, nor b) how to add that layer to the final image to be flashed.Any advice? I've found an older thread but this method is not longer supported by bitbake.
Hello,I am using the STM32MP157F-DK2 and recently went through a textbook rebuild of the Linux kernel, the modules and the gcnano driver (for GL support). All is well and yet, I see only one of the two CPUS. dmesg tells me the following:[ 0.000000] ------------[ cut here ]------------[ 0.000000] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at arch/arm/kernel/devtree.c:148 arm_dt_init_cpu_maps+0x168/0x250[ 0.000000] DT /cpu 2 nodes greater than max cores 1, capping them[ 0.000000] Modules linked in:[ 0.000000] CPU: 0 PID: 0 Comm: swapper Not tainted 5.15.67 #1[ 0.000000] Hardware name: STM32 (Device Tree Support)[ 0.000000] [<c010e8ec>] (unwind_backtrace) from [<c010c158>] (show_stack+0x10/0x14)[ 0.000000] [<c010c158>] (show_stack) from [<c0122404>] (__warn+0xec/0x148)[ 0.000000] [<c0122404>] (__warn) from [<c0c33034>] (wa
I have several devices connected through a CAN network. Using an STM32MP1 I want to build a web frontend that can be used to not only issue commands but also receive arbitrary data and present it to the user. (Data from the devices).I'm trying to figure out what applications/stack that I should use for this? I don't mind customizing, but would prefer to use something that I can build on to. My CAN network code is already written (ported from other STM32 HAL projects). So I can use that as a standalone piece of software and integrate it through sockets, or similar.

I am trying to read data using ADC1 continuously and copy it into a buffer via DMA.However, the data is only read and copied once (seemingly correctly), and afterwards nothing happens anymore (data in buffer does not change, ADC1_IRQHandler() is not called anymore). If I set a breakpoint somewhere in the program, the value of the ADC_CFGR register equals 2147495944, i. e. the DMNGT bits are both 0. Shouldn't they be both 1, as I enabled DMA Circular Mode?As you can see in the code, the MX_DMA_Init() function is called before HAL_ADC_Init(), which was seemingly a bug in earlier versions of STM32CubeIDE (see this thread: How to enable ADC continuous mode with DMA? (st.com)).I already tried setting the DMNGT bits manually and also tried setting the ADSTART bit manually in the ADC1_IRQHandler() on EOC interrupt, but both did not work.I am using an STM32MP153AAB3 on a custom board. The relevant parts of code look like this (I left out unrelated things, timer inits etc. for the sake of clarity
Hi,I'm looking for a processor for a camera application that have the following features:MIPI CSI2 interfaceץBT5 connectivity abilities. Small as possible.Application processor like the Cortex A53. Thanks,Avishay.
Hi in one of link https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/I2S_Linux_driver#Short_Descriptioncan i2s1 used for mclk generation, and will the parent clock able to generate mclk for different audio different bitrate, because in dk2 we use i2s2 for mclk generation, in our board we i2s1 with sgtl5000,may you share the template for dts for sgtl5000 code with mclk for different audio playing 44100 and 48000 bitrates
We try to configure the (M)DMA in Linux device-tree for our System on Module board based on STM32MP151/7C but it always said us that it cannot configure it so we had to disable dma for memory (QSPI Nor/NAND and FMC Nand) which cause performance issue. If we do not set /delete-property/dmas; /delete-property/dma-names; in device-tree for qspi, the qspi try to use DMA and do not detect chip on the bus.... (there no more logs for qspi in dmesg). Here are the logs I have at Linux kernel boot :[ 0.424027] stm32-dma 48000000.dma-controller: no dma pool: can't use MDMA: 0 [ 0.425335] stm32-dma 48000000.dma-controller: STM32 DMA driver registered [ 0.425784] stm32-dma 48001000.dma-controller: no dma pool: can't use MDMA: 0 [ 0.427082] stm32-dma 48001000.dma-controller: STM32 DMA driver registeredHow can I configure correctly the DMA pool ?N.B: We also use OPTEE which is located in SRAM too but the two memory reserva
