I would like to inquire about something, such as the STM32WLE5CCU6 chip, which supports GFSK, but the chip manual does not explicitly state that it supports IEEE802.15.4g (for example, the s2 lp manual states that it supports IEEE 802.15.4g hardware package support with whitening, FEC, CRC, and dual SYNC word detection)Can STM32WLE5CCU6 still support Wi SUN? Or can we only support IEEE802.15.4g through software?
Hello,I am always getting stucked into an infinite loop when calling the sequencer UTIL_SEQ_WaitEvt().When digging deeper, I've seen that it could be a race condition as it doesn't always stop at the same function (sometimes PreIdle, sometimes PostIdle. sometimes maybe even when exiting critical section), but always in this part of code (into stm32_seq.c) : UTIL_SEQ_PreIdle( ); UTIL_SEQ_ENTER_CRITICAL_SECTION_IDLE( ); if (!(((TaskSet & TaskMask & SuperMask) != 0U) || ((EvtSet & EvtWaited)!= 0U))) { UTIL_SEQ_Idle( ); } UTIL_SEQ_EXIT_CRITICAL_SECTION_IDLE( ); UTIL_SEQ_PostIdle( );I am not using the sequencer by myself, only calling SIGFOX_API_send_frame() after all my inits. This function is calling RF_API_SEND() (into rf_api.c), which contains a UTIL_SEQ_WaitEvt() after the send.Even with this issue, my Sigfox message is received on my backend server. However as it's stucked after the send, I can't get any downlink then.I've tried to add some delay, remove the Wa
I'm having a bit of an issue understanding what's going on with the impedance matching between the WB55-48QFN and the MLPF-WB-01D3 (made specifically for the WBxx family). Per another post in the community, and the WB55 documentation, I now know that the RF1 output pin has a characteristic impedance of 42+J19. That's clear now. However, when reading the datasheet for the MLPF-WB-01D3 LPF with a matching network, it specifies a matching impedance between the WB and the filter of 67 Ohm. So I am a bit of a loss now, I have my layout set for 42 impedance between the two components, but now I'm questioning my decision. Anybody out there have experience with these two parts? What is the recommendation for impedance in that transmission line?
Hello, I have a custom STM32WB55 board and for custom purposes, I want to use VDDA=1.8 V and Vref=1.8 V from same Reference IC. According to datasheet, I can decrease VDDA from 3.3 V to as low as 1.62 V but I just wanted to make sure that it won't cause any problem in terms of VDDA supplied analog circuits etc. Best Regards,Mehmet.
When I create my basic project choose from ST32CUNE ide the example ble_pheripal_lite all is ok .The problems arrive when I want add for example a new periperal how ADC .... How can add in the driver the adc the stm32wbxx_hal_adc.c!!!!Thanks
I have seen videos or examples of stm32wb workshops, but I have seen most of them send and receive data such as sensor data or LED control through the Android app of st.In the past, when I used an external BLE module(BM70 of MICROCHIP) , I could send and receive string data from my cell phone without a specific app. There was no need for a BLE protocol to connect the mobile phone and the BLE module, and send string data from the mcu through uart.Like when I used an external BLE module, I want to send and receive a string of stm32WB55 without the ble protocol, is there an easy way to do it? I would appreciate it if you let me know an example or a document.
Hi, Unable to import projects from Example selector, I have installed latest CubeIDE It shows FW_WBA_1.4.0, But I can see only FW_WBA_1.3.1 in github or st.com Thanks KarthiG
Hi there,i am currently working on a BLE Customboard using a STM32WB55.The current setup allows for a 1 second long BLE Advertising, to transmit sensor data. After this second the device is going into STANDBY MODE using the tiny_lpm class: // from app_ble.c -> Callback when the HW_TIM has timedout after 1 second. static void Adv_Mgr(void) { aci_gap_set_non_discoverable(); UTIL_LPM_EnterLowPower(); } In the stm32_lpm_if.c i am doing the following to actually stretch the wakeup time to be several minutes / hours: void PWR_EnterOffMode(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN PWR_EnterOffMode_1 */ HAL_RTCEx_DeactivateWakeUpTimer(&hrtc); if (HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, RTC_WAKEUP_COUNTER, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_CK_SPRE_16BITS) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } ..... The rest of the function as it is. Overall this seems to work quite nice since i am ending up with a power consumption of 0.6-0.7 uA which is matching with the datasheet.I wanted to clarify if the spikes
Can you give me an example where to acquire data from an ADC channel via DMA with triggered timer and send it via BLE Thanks
HelloI have CubeMx v6.11.1.Am trying to start a BLE_HeartRate project targeting P-Nucleo-WB55-Nucleo, and CubeMx is needing STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.20.0This is not available at the ST website. Can you send me this or tell me how to create this project using V1.19?Thanks.Giri
https://github.com/leechwort/u8g2-stm32-example/tree/masterAny advises on opening this? I brought the needed Hardware Nucleo F401RE. However the latest IDE and MX are not able to read the project. What is the general advises and procedure to port between different STM32 MCU under HAL or LL? Is HAL easier than LL for porting between different 'relatively modern' MCU? If the project will be successfully open, what need to be done to port it from Nucleo F401RE to STM32WLE5JCI6? These two MCU are same ARM M4 series, right? Many thanks
The datasheet of STM32WL33KB states that the frequency bands 159-185 MHz, 413-479 MHz, 826-958 MHz are supported. However, the website mentions that "For greater flexibility, it supports wide frequency bands from 100 MHz – 2.4 GHz". Can I get some clarification as to whether 2.4 GHz is supported or not?
Hi All!We have a requirement to disable OTA updates either via hardware or by settings a fuse, this is due to the need for a low-maintaince, low-complexity, high-security method to prevent updates to those without physical access to the device. Is there a fuse or fuses that can be used for this purpose? Or maybe a PIN that can be used for this? We're looking to disable the OTA (aka FUOTA) for the STM32WLE5CBU6 which is listed as OTA capable in the datasheet. Thanks all! :D
Can anyone tell me how to do it without wasting days to simply compile a project from the repo:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWBalthough if I import any ìxample from stm32cubeide when I compile it tells me that there are missing libraries, the same thing if I import the IOC, in short it is impossible to work like this!!!!!!!!!!!I lose a lot of days! Can you give me a screenshot of the steps to follow!!
Hello. I am developing a BLE HID device using the STM32CubeWB MCU Firmware Package, but when I try pairing => disconnect => pairing, pairing fails. I have an implementation like this, is there a problem? We have the following data in adv_data, which should not exceed 31 bytes (we have confirmed Success) Appearance(3byte),Human Interface Device(3byte),swift pair(6byte), Local Name(9byte) Also, if I put a breakpoint before aci_gap_update_adv_data, I can re-pair successfully. (I guess that means the timing of aci_gap_update_adv_data is NG?) I would be grateful if you could give me an answer. Thank you.
Hello, where I can find info about STM32WB55CG (USB dongle) usage description and what Blue Tooth USB dongle can be used with STM32WB5MMG module ?
Hi I am testing with STM32WL55CCU6.When I use only uart1, uart1 works well.but when I use uart1 and RF(LoRa) send, MCU does not work.I coded that MCU transmit some message using uart to terminal per second.MCU continues to work fine.but I added some code that MCU transmit some data using LoRa to remote device per second.A message is output to the terminal a few times, then no more output, and the mcu does not work.I think there are some problem between uart and RF.Does your library 1.1.0 have some problem?Below are some part of my code.1. init MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_I2C2_Init(); MX_SUBGHZ_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init(); MX_I2C3_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_TIM16_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim16); MX_SubGHz_Phy_Init();2. uart callbackvoid HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if (huart->Instance == USART1) { loadReceiveConsoleData(uart1_data); HAL_UART_Receive
hi ALL I bought three stm32 Lora HF band sensor and gateway pack. I would like to communicate by connecting one gateway (nucleo-F746) and three end nodes (nucleo-L073) directly (no server, no site). Is it possible? And please tell me the example code. thanks.
Hello,I work on a simple config with stm32CubeMX with 2 endpoints on stm32wba54kgu6,Endpoint 1 with cluster on/off receiving command clientEndpoint 2 running as cluster temperature server.I use ZigbeetoMqtt coordinator. When i use router mode, i can discuss with stm32wba54 and it's run well. When i use end device mode, no answer. (tried with FFD and RFD)in 2 case, the join and interview is ok.Strange ??It's ok with thisAnd no respond at all with this (include basic cluster)
Good morning,I am trying to follow the RTC_LSI calibration example project for the P-NUCLEO-WB55.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/blob/master/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Examples/RTC/RTC_LSI/Src/main.cThe GetLSIFrequency function has a lineHAL_TIMEx_RemapConfig(&htim16, TIM_TIM16_TI1_LSI);However, TIM_TIM16_TI1_LSI is not defined in any of the source header files therefore it does not compileAny help much appreciated
Hello, I have a question about the internal antenna of the STM32WB55CGU6.First of all, does it have the internal antenna? And if so, what is the range of it? Thanks
Hey,I working on a project with the following goal: setup one central coordinator and let multiple sleepy end devices send sensor data periodically. For development I am trying to alter the code of the Zigbee_TempMeas_Client_Router/Zigbee_TempMeas_Server_Coord example projects, such that sending long strings is possible. The setup is the following:custom cluster with one reportable long string attributestatic const struct ZbZclAttrT ZclTemp_AttrList[] = {{MY_ZCL_DEV_LS, ZCL_DATATYPE_STRING_LONG_CHARACTER,ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_REPORTABLE|ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_WRITABLE,512, // custom sizeNULL, // callback{0, 0}, //no value range{1, 10}}};sleepy end devices run the servercoordinator runs the client and sends APP_ZIGBEE_Read_Temp_Attribute() request to the sleepy end devicesThe custom attribute is changed between each call of APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb(). APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb() is unchanged with exeption of the attribute and readReq.dst.nwkAddr = 0xFFFF;I configure the reporting similarily to the
Hi there,if i try to set my stm32wb55cg into standby, it seems to only work if the RFWakeupCLK is HSE-DIV1024void PeriphCommonClock_Config(void) { RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_SMPS|RCC_PERIPHCLK_RFWAKEUP; PeriphClkInitStruct.RFWakeUpClockSelection = RCC_RFWKPCLKSOURCE_HSE_DIV1024; PeriphClkInitStruct.SmpsClockSelection = RCC_SMPSCLKSOURCE_HSE; PeriphClkInitStruct.SmpsDivSelection = RCC_SMPSCLKDIV_RANGE1; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } }If i set the RF-WakeupClock to LSE it gives me:void PeriphCommonClock_Config(void) { RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_SMPS|RCC_PERIPHCLK_RFWAKEUP; PeriphClkInitStruct.RFWakeUpClockSelection = RCC_RFWKPCLKSOURCE_LSE; PeriphClkInitStruct.SmpsClockSelection = RCC_SMPSCLKSOURCE_HSE; PeriphClkInitStruct.SmpsDivSelection = RCC_SMPSCLKDIV
Hi Team,Am designing a BLE module using STM32WB55CEU6 for an IoT audio streaming project. Can somebody please help me in verifying the RF portion of schematics and layout. We are using an IPEX connector on board for BLE antenna and the signal is connected as below from MCU to antenna connector. Is it fine? Also, I have referred layout design for dev board using the STM32WBB55 MCU and I found that for RF section there is no reference given in immediate layer ie: layer 2 for signal routed in layer 1. Whereas GND plane if given under RF section in layer 3 & 4. Even we are using a 4-Layer stack up so is it mandatory to follow same.?Best Regards,Vyshnav Krishnan
Hello, I need your kindly support for this application.I would like to do a code for the STM32WB5MM-DK where the Bluetooth have a service with the following characteristics:ServiceCharacteristic 1: Read and Notify a random number from 0 to 100 (later will be a resistive sensor, so an adc will be later implemented)Characteristic 2: Write from the phone a value that the board will later requiredWith the value from Characteristic 2, control a GPIO. In this case, I have made several project but I do not end to comprehend yet the whole STM32CubeMx program. So far, I know the following aci_gatt_update_char_value() /* Updates the value */But where is the code that I need to put the user function? Thanks in advance for the support
