Hello, so I am using two RAK3172 and trying to run SubGHz_Phy_PingPong example as it is, but it is not working This is the log on both end, I attached the screenshot of one device, I also tried by doing iq inversion on both the devices, but it's still same. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
I have a node connected to a gateway and a chirpstack server. I decided I want to understand a few topics. So I went into the above file and changed the EUI from a working 80,00,00,00,00,00,00,06 to below. #define LORAWAN_JOIN_EUI A0,01,B0,02,C0,03,D0,04 I rebuild code and the node still works with the network server which has listed the 80....EUI number.I am running the node as OTAA but cannot understand why the new EUI won't take. Can someone please explain how to make this work?
I am trying to use the HW Timer Server Library, Low Power Manager and Sequencer on an STM32WB to wakeup/sleep my system to/from STOP2 mode. It seems that the system checks the timer once per second. I am monitoring the STM32WB power using STM32CUBEMonitorPower and the XNUCLEOLPM01A. In the image below I have set a timer server for 5000ms and then go to STOP2. It is expected behaviour to have the system wake up once per second to check the state and then go back to sleep?PS: More info on Low Power Manager, Timer Server and Sequencer in AN5289 Section 4.EDIT: In this example I am just going to SLEEP power state not STOP2 as I wanted to use the debugger.
I got the STM32W55 MCU.We keep receiving an event from the stack:Event type: 0xff --> HCI_VENDOR_SPECIFIC_DEBUG_EVT_CODE Event e-code: 0x04 /* ACI_HAL_END_OF_RADIO_ACTIVITY_EVENT code */ #define ACI_HAL_END_OF_RADIO_ACTIVITY_VSEVT_CODE 0x0004U We receive it in an infinite loop.Can you please advice?
Zigbee PRO specification mentionsI found this function in AN5500: When I try to implement this function, I get a compiler error for 'undefined reference'. I checked zigbee_core_wb.c and indeed there is no implementation for this function. The question is, since this function is not available, then how to develop a zigbee router node on STM32WB platform that will allow joining of other routers and end devices to itself in a mesh network?
I have a problem with handling multicast frames. I think it's a server side problem and how to read multicast frames in the lorawan stack? The same as unicast frames? I added support for multicast frames in TTN according to https://www.thethingsindustries.com/docs/devices/configuring-devices/multicast/. Is there an example? Multicast frame support with server?
Hello @STTwo-32 ! Thank you so much for clarifying everything! I am really thrilled with the STM32WBA Nucleo board. Could you please let me know, if it is compatible with the FP-AUD-BVLINKWB1 pack? If not, are there any code examples on how to implement Bluetooth audio on it? Such as pairing with headphones et cetera?
Hello,I am looking for a low power STM32 MCU that can transmit 2.4GHz RF signals. Since STM32WBA and STM32WB support bluetooth, can it be used to transmit raw 2.4GHz signals as well as bluetooth. It is used to communicate with a cnc controller.
Hello everybody! There is a question on bluetooth which I would love to explore. The point is, some time ago I developed a navigation device for visually impaired people, that had a pair of mikes, a pair of headphones and a DSP. Everything was more or less okay, but the headphone wire definitely didn't add to the convenience of use, so it would be nice if I could connect any bluetooth headphones to the device I made. Although I have experience connecting an SPP module to MCUs (lot's of information, connection via UART - easy), I know nothing about bluetooth audio. The task is, my device must be the "master", it should be able to connect any bluetooth headphones to itself and then send a stereo audio signal to the headphones. Is it possible to use a WB55CG module for that? Is there a built-in audio stack in the WB55CG dongle? It seems that the BM83 module can do what I need, but the price of the development board is manyfold out of my current range, besides I do love the s
I connected the Sx1278 lora module to the nucleo-f207 development board. and the st890cdr integrated circuit on the development board started to heat up. When I reconnected the STM development board to the PC, a Fail file was created and the text "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU" appeared. What should I do to fix this situation?
Hi,I am looking for a MCU with BLE5 and audio. If BLE5 is not available with audio, then I will get compromised with Classic bluetooth. If such an MCU has signal processing capability then it will be an added advantage for me, so that I will not use another separate MCU for signal processing. Please suggest me a best suitalbe MCU which shall have Bluetooth (or BLE) with audio and signal processing.
Are there any wireless low power STM32 MCUs that support 2.4Ghz transmission? It is for a battery operated application.
Hello,The firmware for the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 gateway is currently provided as a binary file named "st-nucleo-lora-gw-at-fw-v2.1.7-eu868-TTN.bin." I am very interested in obtaining access to the source code to develop a modified version of the firmware for personnal uses.I understand that the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 kit is obsolete, but I continue to use the gateway as a packet forwarder for instrumentation and experimentation. Unfortunately, it does not support the latest version of the Semtech UDP protocol, which requires a TX_ACK to be sent after transmitting a packet (as specified here: https://github.com/Lora-net/packet_forwarder/blob/master/PROTOCOL.TXT). This limitation causes issues with multiple network servers. I would like to address this issue myself and make a few other minor modifications.Could you please let me know if the source code is fully closed, or if there is a way to obtain it?Best regards.
Hi,I want to use BLE mesh to reach my application, the requirements below.I have a root node and need to send the custom data to each client node and need to read the status from the client nodes. The client nodes don't need to communicate with each other. The client nodes need to send back the custom data to the root node regularly. The user can use a Mobile APP to control the mesh network or through the root node by PC.The root node can be removed when the mesh network is established and finished configure each client node. If needed, the root node can rejoin the network.Based on the above needs, are there any related projects that can be referred to?Please help me and give the suggestions.Thanks.
Hi I am new to the WBA series and am currently working with STM32WBA55G-DK1 board to implement the audio examples.I have a doubt, Can I implement my own custom profiles for sensor data transfer along with the audio, so that, when connected to an app, I will have audio as well as data services?Where will the custom GATT services sit? How to implement both the Host stack and Audio stack? Also,I realised that the DK board doesnt have many peripheral example, which, on other hand are provided for the WBA nucleo board. Can I implement those codes in the DK board?@STTwo-32 @TDK @KDJEM.1 @IssamosThanks in advance!
Hi, I have a NUCLEO-WBA52CG dev board.I am seeing an issue whenever I do hard reset for the first time after power-on.After power-on my the loaded application works as expected, after a hard reset(using the button), the clock configuration seems to be about 44% what is expected. This behavior can be observed with the BSP example for the board. Basically the delays between LED blinks are longer. I also had an application that prints something via UART and the output was garbage on my serial terminal until i adjusted the baud rate accordingly.I have not fully tested what else is non-functional but other peripherals may also be affected since my other application(Using SPI, DMA, interrupts, etc) was no longer working as expected instead of just running slower.Interestingly, a second reset fixes the issue. A third reset goes back to the problem state, and then another reset it is again working as expected.
After flashing NUCLEO-WB55RG board with the executable file from BLE_HID_Mouse examplecan't pair the board with the BLE of a computer. Add a device - does not see it!I have LMP 11.2292 - Bluetooth 5.2What should I do?Also, in BLE_HID mouse example README.md I did not find - how SW1, SW2 and SW3 are assigned to joystick!
I'm trying to use Bluetooth on the Nucleo WB55RG board to make them communicate with each other. I find on internet a solution using micropython and Bluetooth import (this link of Solution: stm32python.gitlab.io/). However, when I activate the module, an ETIMEDOUT appears, so I try to increase the NIMBLE_STARTUP_TIMEOUT (up to 20s) but nothing changes. Not finding a solution to my problem I turn to you to try to find a solution.I tried to update the firmware. Result: Memory erased but firmware crashed in the download. I still managed to put the compiled firmware back as shown on the previous git. By a happy miracle, the error changed to tl_ble_wait_resp: timeout. Does anyone know why the bluetooth doesn't work?Thanking you in advance.
Hello Everyone, I'm driving the WS2812 RGB-LED using TIM16 CH1.I have a very similar behavior as in this_post . The RGB works well just until MX_LoRaWAN_Process(void) then it doesn't work. I tried his solution but it didn't work(although I suspect the SYSTICK is not working). The Waveform looks like this: The solution in the post(using the following lines) didn't work for me: /* Wake up from STOP2 on button press */ SystemClock_Config(); HAL_ResumeTick(); MX_TIM16_Init(); I also printed out the content of the LED_DATA_ARRAY(which contains the color data) and it seems fine. The Mode is STOP-Mode2. What would be the problem here? Thank youAmir
The chip package of the STM32WB series in Keil has been failed to be installed, and the display "cannot copy license file to '. Download' folder”
Hello! I just received my disco kit with the STM32WBA55CG on board, and I am facing extremely weird behavior. ST-LINK loses connection to the target during code execution in both debug and non-debug mode. After that, I am no longer capable of connecting to the target and uploading new code/starting debugging. The only thing I can do is to hold the reset button on the board and connect with STMCubeProgrammer, reset flash and then upload something else. There are basically two problems:Hardware reset on ST-Link does not work (I should do that manually)Random disconnects from the target. It should not happen even after a hard fault. And here it is happening constantlyI don't understand if this is a problem with software or settings, and I can fix it fast. Or is the board faulty? I just don't want to waste time debugging.Should I just return it?P.S. The funny thing is that I have been using STM MCUs for a decade and tons of projects. However, I never had a DISCO board from th
Hi @STTwo-32 @TDK @KDJEM.1 @Issamos @Remy ISSALYS ,I have started using Nucleo-WBA55CG for BLE Audio and realized STM32Cube_FW_WBA_V1.3.0 does not contain any audio code for the board. But STM32WBA55CG- DK1 has the ble audio snippet code. Can I use the nucleo board to implement the audio examples since the microcontroller is same? Thank You in advance.
Hi everyone,We recently purchased a NUCLEO-WB55RG Dual Core EVK for R&D purposes. We later realized that in the STM32WB55CGU6TR MCU, the Cortex M0+ core is dedicated to BLE. Is there any possibility of toggling GPIO on the Cortex M0+ core? If so, can anyone share a sample code for this? Thanks in advance!
I everyone ,I'm working on a STM32WB35I've build a small custom server app with just a simple batt level service it works and advertise perfectly if I don't enable LPM as soon as I enable LPM it don't advertise anymoreit looks as if CPU2 and RF are down too as default BLE app disable OFF lpm mode it goes only in STOP LPR modeon my custom pcb I have no LSE so I rely on HSE when running and MSI or HSI when in stop or offwhen comparing with BLE HeartSensor reference exemple I dont understand how it keeps advertising when in STOP modemy main concern is on BLE HeartSensor exemple when going in stop mode it calls static void EnterLowPower(void) { /** * This function is called from CRITICAL SECTION */ while(LL_HSEM_1StepLock(HSEM, CFG_HW_RCC_SEMID)); if (! LL_HSEM_1StepLock(HSEM, CFG_HW_ENTRY_STOP_MODE_SEMID)) { if(LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C2DS() || LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C2SB()) { /* Release ENTRY_STOP_MODE semaphore */ LL_HSEM_ReleaseLock(HSEM, CFG_HW_ENTRY_ST
Hello everyone,I decided to write on this forum after encountering a problem with the implementation of ZigBee on my STM32WB55 microcontroller. Currently, the board connects to the network and sends the first data, but nothing happens afterwards.I am using the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P as the RCP which is connected to my computer and I run the Zigbee2MQTT 1.37.0 process. I'm using the same configuration for the Zlinky module and everything works fine, so I assume that part of the receiver works. As far as the FW is concerned, I would like to use the RTC to set a measurement task and send data every 30 seconds (for the moment). On the other hand, I have used some examples on ST's GitHub, in particular for the SED configuration. After some tests with LEDs, I can confirm that the RTC is working correctly.I have the impression that each new task configuration is ignored but I don't know why and the debbug mode do not help me at all.Thank you in advance for your help. Here is HAL_RTC_AlarmAEventCallba
