Dear Members. I'm a beginner and trying to learn and understand how to work with stm32l0 and SH1276. The first task which i set to myself is to reach the absolut minimum power consumption. Watched some tutorials and tried to reach minimum which i measured practically at ca 3uA when using the lrwan end node example code.Despite my changes i reach only 3,3 mA (configured to stop mode with RTC and interrupt as a wakup). What can i do to decrease the power consumption to the expected level during stop?Thank You. This is in main(): HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); SystemClock_Config(); HAL_ResumeTick(); This is the system clock which CubeMx made based on the L072-Lrwan pcb. void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0}; /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __H
Helloi made a customised board using the STM32L476RETx mcu with a lora module : DORJI DRF1262TI opened the project from i-cube-lrwan expansion package with the name SX1262dvk1das USING THE SX1262 AT 868MHz.i updated the PINOUT of my MCU and exclude all unnecessary driver and board sensor not used.when i compile, everything is OK with error and warningsi program my board. the program run but in 4s112ms the program is bloqued and the message in the UART of " 4s112 ms PHY txTimeOut " is printed and everything is stopped.SPI pin and CS and DIO1 are well connected and in the beginningof the run, i see a signal on this protocole. the board well worked in ping pong mode with another boardPlease helpThank you
We have tried usingNVIC_SystemReset();but it seems it only resets the M4 core and not the M0+ responsible for Bluetooth communication. It would be really appreciable if someone could guide us towards identifying the cause behind this behavior, and how to eliminate it.
It appears that v1.10 of the Thread FTD binary does not work properly. When a command is sent (line 4 below), the code stalls in an infinite loop, waiting for an ACK from the M0 processor.static void APP_THREAD_DeviceConfig(void) { otError error; error = otInstanceErasePersistentInfo(NULL); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE) { APP_THREAD_Error(ERR_THREAD_ERASE_PERSISTENT_INFO,error); }From the snippet below, the code stalls at "Wait_Getting_Ack_From_M0()" because it never receives an interrupt from the coprocessor (i.e., HW_IPCC_Tx_Handler() never gets called). void Ot_Cmd_Transfer(void) { /* OpenThread OT command cmdcode range 0x280 .. 0x3DF = 352 */ p_thread_otcmdbuffer->cmdserial.cmd.cmdcode = 0x280U; /* Size = otCmdBuffer->Size (Number of OT cmd arguments : 1 arg = 32bits so multiply by 4 to get size in bytes) * + ID (4 bytes) + Size (4 bytes) */ uint32_t l_size = ((Thread_OT_Cmd_Request_t*)(p_thread_otcmdbuffer->cmdserial.cmd.payload))->Size * 4U + 8U; p_thread_ot

Hi,i have 2 boards (client and server) with STM32WB that communicates through BLE messages. Right now, at every reboot/disconnection i am redoing the pairing, but it is really slow.In order to reduce the whole connection time, i am trying to use the bonding for not redoing the pairing every time. The first question is: if the server board receive a connection request from the same MAC address, but it is not the client board but someone that wants to steal data, how can find that the device is not the same that i have bonded? The second question is: how do i know that the connection is switched to encrypted or it is not because the slave board canceled the pairing with the function aci_gap_remove_bonded_device? I noticed that if i connect the board but it has removed the bonding, the client continue to think that the slave is bonded according to the result of the function aci_gap_get_bonded_devices.Thank you in advance
i want to initialize pin A9 & A10 in BL072ZLrWAN1board of STas a external interrupt pin. ICubeLrwan package not integrate with cubeMX so i am confuse about how to initialize the pin and call the interrupt and write its callback function.
Hi,We are currently working on an usb composite library but some old FLASH ghosts reappeared. When sending data through a cdc flash started to fail some erase/program.We decided to upgrade our Wireless stack to latest (1.10.0) from our current 1.6.0 (FUS 1.0.2).From there, we discovered that AN5289 got some big updates for clocks and FLASH sharing (good news!).Now, 3 big questions/remarks subsist:Two questions concerning our code:1) The first device we updated (FUS 1.0.2-> 1.1.0; WS 1.6 -> 1.10) never get CPU2 notification for WS ready and all flash operations fails. Is it a brick or a defaulted CPU2?2) On some flash operations, FLASH_SR register is not all 0 and FLASH_CR_LOCK bit is set to 1 without doing anything. Trying to write 1 again result in hardfaulting our device (so our actual patch is only call HAL_Lock when FLASH_CR_LOCK is 0).Two other concerning BLE_RfWithFlash/flash_driver.c3) When single_flash_operation_status fail, some action don't respect AN5289 p36 Figure 10:i

Greetings,My application for the STM32WB uses the BLE full stack from v1.8 of the Cube. I just noticed that there is a v1.10. I plan to test this as well, just in case this has been fixed. The cube has code to manipulate the SRAM2 parity options, but there are no samples using it. When I enable Sram2 parity and put some of my data into this RAM, everything is OK and the system operates as expected. However, if I then load the BLE stack and start c2, the system throws an NMI which, I believe, comes from a parity error.I'm still working through getting an exact location for the fault. What I'm seeing is leading me to believe it is the BLE stack that is causing the issue, but I won't know for sure until I can retrieve the fault address. At this point, the question is simply this, is SRAM2 parity supported with the BLE stack?CheersP.S. I did a little follow up to see if there is a record of the address that faulted. What I can see is that my program was in WFE when the fault occurred. This f
Hello Everyone, I'm working with the I-Cube-LRWAN software for LoRa communication in class A device. The device sends data every Tx_Dutycyle period but I have an issue with the software. When using the stack connected to Network such as TTN, I notice the uplink counter reach a threshold after 65535 sent. Then, It sends some random data and don't follow the data in the Send function.Where can i change or renew the tx_counter to avoid this issue ? I don't know where i can found this. Furthermore, in "LoraMac.h" i can see in the following structure "typedef struct sMcpsConfirm" the following stuff : /*! * The uplink counter value related to the frame */ uint32_t UpLinkCounter; If it's a uint32_t, why there is a problem after 65535 value sent ? here your can see an example of data sent with the counter at 65535 and the next one with a totally other payload and the counter at 0. Then, all the following data are randomised
Hello, I am using the STM32WB-P-NUCLEO-WB55 board to do a thread experiment. When I use the serial port assistant to read the messages, I found that many messages that are not on the application layer are displayed. For example, the displayed MAC layer information. How can I block this information for better observation.Thank you
Datasheet of STM32WB55 mentions that the Maximum voltage that can be given to VBAT is 3.6 V. But, it is also said that there is an internal voltage divider so that voltage to the ADC is 1/3 of the voltage at the VBAT pin So, is it possible to connect 4.2 V LiPo battery to VBAT pin for voltage monitoing?
Hi Sir,Like BlueNRG-2 have PCB antenna's of BLE232SA-A and BLE232UA-A Does STM32WB also have these kind of antenna modules???
Hi,I'm looking to create an zigbee endpoint device. I've selected the STM32WB30 for my project and have been configuring in CubeMX. This all goes well. Now I need to flash an wireless stack to the M0, but there is no zigbee stack for the STM32WB30.Does CubeMX put the stack in the user app for the STM32WB30 and work with the MAC 802.15.4 fw? Or is what I'm trying not possible?
Looks like the Scheduler, SCH_*, have been replaced by the Sequencer, UTIL_SEQ_*. Does anyone know where there is detail description of the Sequencer, along with examples? Thanks,Mark
I am using the Nucleo STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack to develop BLE applications on the Nucleo board. Every once in a while I have the problem, that the application does not properly start and hangs during BLE Init of the co-processor. This is no problem of my code but also happens on the provided examples of STM!The hang occurs in app_ble.c in the calls to SHCI_C2_BLE_Init( &ble_init_cmd_packet ) or Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init() (see e.g. https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/blob/master/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/BLE/BLE_HeartRate/STM32_WPAN/App/app_ble.c line 313 and 318).The call simply hangs and does not return. A push of the reset button restarts the board, but it hangs again at the same spot.I already reflashed the firmware, recompiled, etc. etc. Normally, after 2-3x powertoggling the board (removing USB cable, refitting it), it suddenly works. Maybe related: When I open STM Cube Programmer to access the copro in DFU mode via USB direct connect (after the proper

An element in a node supports multiple models . STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.8.0 supports 20 models per node, but it only supports 3 elements per node. I want to control more than 3 devices per node in my project. If i disable MODEL BINDING, it is possible to control two devices using two models (Generic onoff server and light lightness server) in a single element??I'm using STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.8.0 package with STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack (STM32WB55RGV6 MCU) and ST BLE Mesh app.
I built the project using the STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.1.2 example, and I want to use the EEPROM function in LoRa Application.I am trying to declare eeprom related code in a separate file, but the linker cannot import HAL functions..\mlm32l07x01\Lora.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Erase (referred from eeprom.o)..\mlm32l07x01\Lora.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Lock (referred from eeprom.o)..\mlm32l07x01\Lora.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Program (referred from eeprom.o)..\mlm32l07x01\Lora.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol HAL_FLASHEx_DATAEEPROM_Unlock (referred from eeprom.o).// eeprom.h #ifndef __USER_EEPROM_H__ #define __USER_EEPROM_H__ #include <stdbool.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <string.h> // #include "stm32l0xx_hal.h" // #include "stm32l0xx_hal_def.h" // #include "stm32l0xx_hal_conf.h" // #include "stm32l0xx_hal_flash.h" #include "stm32l0xx_
Hello everyone, I'm trying to compile together a project Created with STM32CubeIDE based on STM32L082 and STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.3.1 but I'd like to keep it configurable through CubeMX.Is there someone that succeded in this? There are a lot of files Linked to the project of CubeExpansion, are they supposed to be copied into another project to make it configurable by CubeMX? Thank you in advance,Andrea
My goal is to have a coordinator connected to sleepy end devices. The coordinator will periodically request measurements from the end devices. It seems like all the examples have requests going from the nodes to the coordinator, so I'm having trouble reversing it for my implementation. Right now I'm using the Zigbee_PressMeas application example from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.6.0 as a base. I want a custom callback on the client when the server issues a request, which will cause the client to take a measurement and respond. This is my client code in app_zigbee.c from APP_ZIGBEE_ConfigEndpoints(void:(// Cluster Setup zigbee_app_info.press_meas_client = ZbZclPressMeasServerAlloc(zigbee_app_info.zb, SW1_ENDPOINT, ZCL_PRESSURE_MIN, ZCL_PRESSURE_MAX); assert(zigbee_app_info.press_meas_client != NULL); zigbee_app_info.press_meas_client->report = &zcl_press_meas_press_client_report; // Find the Attribute Object struct ZbZclAttrListEntryT pressure_attribute_entry; struct ZbZclAttr
HelloFor an IoT project I am using the CMWX1ZZABZ-078 LoRa transceiver module, which is used in the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 evaluation board. I want to use the LoRa module as an AT command slave. So that I can use an other MCU as master. They are communicating with eachoter via UART. The AT-slave firmware can I download from the website from ST, I-CUBE-LRWAN. This contains an example of such an AT slave firmware. Now my problem is that on the evaluation board the LoRa module communicates with the STLink MCU via LPUART1. The Tx pin is on PA3 and the Rx pin is on PA2. For my project I want to use the USART1 which is located on pins PA9 (Tx) and PA10 (Rx). So first I changed the UART hardware definitions so that I initialize USART1 in stead of LPUART1. However, when I test this I can only send some data, but I get no feedback. Maybe its because of the DMA? The thing is that I am not sure that my device works correct, because I get no feedback from the LoRa module.Maybe somebody knows what I am doi
Hi.In SDK I foud interesting source files: ble_events.h, ble_events.c, in wich we have 3 structures defined as hci_event_table_t.Also in ble_legacy.h we have a defines to that structures.Every strucrure have event code and callback and callback calls a process function which is a __WEAK. But any examples dont use that feature. Questions: 1. Can I use these files or are they temporary and after a while they can change dramatically or disappear?2. Many event in that files not declared of those that are in "AN5270" (STM32WB Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) wireless interface). Why?
