Hi everybody, yesterday I was working with my Nucleo68 board of the P-NUCLEO-WB55 pack as always, however something go wrong after to did this:I modified the WWDGSW and IWDGSW option bytes with STM32CubeProgrammer (from checked to unchecked, and apply), option bytes were programmed successfully, run my application and all ok.After return the WWDGSW and IWDGSW option bytes with STM32CubeProgrammer (from unchecked to checked, and apply) the options bytes doesn't programmed and message apears "Error: Option Byte Programming failed", I tried some times more and nothing.I desconnected and connected again the Nucleo68 USB cable but when I read its data a message apears with "Error: Data read failed". I can't read any page of the flash:I guess that I can erase flash because apears the following message when I erase a sector:But when I download a file this failed:Checking the RM0434 Reference manual the option bytes are ok because are in ST production value, here the option bytes of my STM32WB
I am using the STM32WB55 ADC with the internal reference VREFBUF set to 2V5. To save power consumption, the application disables VREFBUF before going to sleep and enables it just after waking up. The problem is that I am making measurements with the ADC just after wake-up and I am getting results slightly lower than the real values. When I enable VREFBUF I do the active wait for the VRR flag and I see that it takes about 50us to settle. On the VREF+ pin I have a 100nF capacitor. If I do a delay of 500us then, the measurements with the ADC are correct. What could cause this difference in the measurements? Why is the stabilisation time of VREFBUF so low?
If I use STM32WL as RF tranciver and using the (G)FSK modultion or other modulation with multiple users, Will STM32WL asigne a carrier frequency automatically for each user to achieve the FDMA as PMR/DMR system in walkie talkie?
Hi, I am running the BLE_DataThroughput example for the STM32WB55 with two boards as described in the documentation- one set as a client, one as a server. I have connected the client board to a desktop PC via UART, and I am monitoring the output with PuTTy. With this setup, the highest data throughput rate I get is ~ 98 600 bytes/s as reported at the UART by the board. This is with PHY = 2M. When I press the SW2 button on the baord it switches to PHY = 1M, and the data throughput rate falls to ~2 500 bytes/s. My question is whether this is normal and how can I get the advertised 2 Mbit/s datarates for this chip, or at least something closer? The current data rate corresponds to ~ 0.8 Mbit/s. I referred to AN5289 Building wireless applications withSTM32WB Series microcontrollers, section 7.6.5- How to maximize data throughput where it is advised that I set the connection interval and connection event length at 50 ms, which I did correctly as far as I can tell. The effect this
Hi there, I'd like to know if the USB port on the stm32wl55 can be used as a virtual com port and if so, how to achieve that.
Hello,I use a STM32WB55RGV7 microcontroller. Doing the hardware layout I'm confused about the antenna filter: - I can't get the band pass filter LFB182G45CGFD436 in small quantities, which is used in the P-Nucleo-WB55 - the low pass filter LFL212G45TC1A007, wich is used in AN5165, is end of life in about one year - AN5165 uses also another low pass filter MLPF-WB55-01E3, which makes a part of the other componets unnessesaryCould you give me a suggestion which of these filters I can use in my design reasonably future-proof?Thanks in advance.Holger
I have a custom hardware with an STM32WLE5C8Ux and I want to add functionality to it step by step. I'm using CubeMx to generate a project with success ,toggeling a GPIO works. I have not initalized external TCXO or LSE, they are populated but I want to first run a very simple program without LoRa or anything. I want to add FreeRTOS in the long run so I wanted to add an alternate Sys timer, I selected TIM17 as a Timebase Source. Then I generate the project and debug over the ST-Link V3 an, adapter and a J-Link 10 Pin debug probe. I power the hardware externally. I'm running the internal clock at 48Mhz. When I step through the debugger I stop at Function "HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM17_IRQn);" inside of "stm32wlxx_hal_tim.c" Here is the output of my debugging Temporary breakpoint 4, main () at ../Core/Src/main.c:72 72 HAL_Init(); Breakpoint 3, HAL_Init () at ../Drivers/STM32WLxx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32wlxx_hal.c:178 178 if (HAL_InitTick(TICK_INT_PRIORITY) != HAL_OK) Program stopped
Hi!I can't find the WLCSP59-Package at distributors like digi-key, mouser etc. It doesn't seem to be available. Does anyone know why?Is this a matter of time (not in mass production yet) or a matter of volume (only sold to specific customers)? If the former, when will it be available? If the latter, which conditions apply? (NDA, minimal quantity, etc.)regards, aaron
I read some contradictory information and I am not sure what is true. I bought NUCLEO-WL5JC2 Low Band (As NUCLEO-WL5JC1 were not in stock)Is it possible to turn them into High Band by changing some passive components ? So I can use them in 868Mhz instead of 433Mhz Thanks
I am trying to do the example "HandsOn_2" from STM32WB_workshop. Executes commands as described. The only difference is I use STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 instead of STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0.STM32Cubex does not copy the scheduler.c, scheduler.h files to the directory ...\Middlewares\ST\STM32_WPAN\utilities\ . Why in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 files scheduler.c, scheduler.h don't exist?
I want to reset and reinitialize only CPU2 (M0 +) of STM32WB I used to ask a question in "Data reception stops at Mac_802_15_4_FFD in the sample code."Even now, this matter has not been resolved. At the end, it was said that RFD was used, but since I want to communicate with FFD, I have not confirmed it with RFD.I would like to resolve this phenomenon, but if I can confirm this phenomenon with F/W, I would like to reset and reinitialize only CPU2.Is such a thing possible? How can I do it?

In the pack FP-AUD-BVLINKWB1, BLE audio streaming example provided with Opus codec, will you be also providing similar example using new LE audio standard with LC3 codec?
Namaste from India.I am working on STM32WB Nucleo board for BLE functionality as per the tutorial available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNfIGh30kSsI have copied the codes from workshop snippets provided by ST. When I press the LED on the ST BLE sensor App, the LED of the Nucleo board toggles its state. When I press the button switch 1, the notification is not received in the BLE app. The LED stops blinking and debugger shows this message: SIGTRAP:Trace/breakpoint trap) HardFault_Handler() When I use the p2pServer project provided by the ST, it works flawlessly. If I build the project from scratch by following the tutorial, I am facing this issue.Cube IDE Version: 1.6.1CubeMX version: 6.1.1STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.10.0Anyone here should help me.RegardsRaghavendra
Hello, function "aci_gap_delete_ad_type" returns value "0x1F". This value is not defined in file "ble_defs.h" at lines 192ff like other return values ("BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS" etc.)Do you confirm that the meaning of "0x1F" is "AD_TYPE not found" ?Can you add a "#define" with comment for this value to "ble_defs.h"?Best regardsPaul
I need to program the chip use JTAG or SWD, But now i could just read the jtag id. i could not access the flash. so is there special document for how to access the flash using JTAG or SWD interface.
I am going to download the ble stack to stm32wb55 using the program. On P-NUCLEO-WB-55, it was downloaded properly, but I tried the same thing on my custom board, but it failed. This is the log we did on NUCLEO-WB55 below.Deleting previous wireless stack... Hi when trying to get some of the examples for the STM32WL devkit (Nucleo-WL55JC1) working for LL LPUART serial with the external 32kHz crystal, I've noticed that LL_RCC_LSE_EnablePropagation() is never called in SystemClock_Config. It looks like this is needed for LPUART to use the crystal as its clock?I also can't seem to find an option in CubeMX to enable LSE as a system clock for LPUARTThe examples I've tried from STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.0.0: Examples_LL -> LPUART -> LPUART_WakeUpFromStop_InitExamples_LL -> USART -> USART_Communication_TxRx_DMA_Init
I want to continuously send bytes from one device to another, both of the device using BlueNRG-2 microcontroller, I can send next packet when TX_BUFFER_FULL was not set. when the tx power level was set to 4 using aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(0x04), everything worked well, however, if the tx level was set to 0x07, the first 1.8k bytes (200bytes per packet) can sent successfully within a short period of time (same as TX=4). however, i cannot send the 10th packet within a short time. the TX_BUFFER_FULL was set for a much much much longer period of time. i also tested my code using two evaluation board, i did not have this problem. for both tx level(4 and 7), the code worked well.anyone knows why?
Dear,My goal is to erase some flash sectors after the receipt of a specific BLE notification ( ChardId = OTAS_STM_BASE_ADDR_ID / Command = OTAS_STM_APPLICATION_UPLOAD) (line 17 in the first code sample). Once the operation done, I should notify the initiator via BLE using the method OTAS_STM_UpdateChar().The issue is that the notification is correctly read by the initiator if I do not perform the erase operation, and is NOT read by the initiator if I perform the erase operation. Therefore, I suspect this flash erase operation to disturb the BLE protocol. Here the code dealing with the received notification from the initiator :switch(p_notification->ChardId) { case OTAS_STM_BASE_ADDR_ID: { switch( ((OTA_STM_Base_Addr_Event_Format_t*)(p_notification->pPayload))->Command ) { case OTAS_STM_STOP_ALL_UPLOAD: break; case OTAS_STM_WIRELESS_FW_UPLOAD: OTAS_APP_Context.file_type = Wireless_Fw; OTAS_APP_Context.base_address = FLASH_B
My application only needs to send data once every few minutes during which time i can save power by turning off the radio. I don't see any examples that do it, they don't even have a deinit function.
