Hi all,I have the STM32WB55 board connected to a battery. However it loses connection (firmware does continue without issues) quite often. After some research I have found out that when i attach the charger or the st link the disconnection issue is gone. Leading me to believe that the battery isn't capable of supplying enough for the system + ble when transmitting. So I've added a 36uF polarized capacitor on the 3v3 of the arduino morpho connector to provide for the peaks. This does solve the problem as well. Now the question:How big a capacitor do I need to be able to transmit data without losing connection? In the UM2435 user manual stm32wb are some power related schematics. The 5v has a 10uf +100nf and the 3v3 has 1uf and few 100nf....My hardware knowledge is not good enough to determine the size I need, please help.Kind regards,Taxara
Hello! Is there an overview of how big the ST wireless stack is depending on the activated features?Thank you!

Hi,I have P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 starter pack and I'm trying to run AT Master application on NUCLEO-LRWAN1/NUCLEO-L073RZ pair with supplied in I-CUBE-LRWAN Expansion Package. It looks like all fine (i.e firmware compiled and loaded onto NUCLEO-L073RZ without any problem). But GW cant get any data from the Sensor Device. Finally, when I checked with SDR , I cant see any Tx activity from the Sensor device .. I will be so happy if you can make comment on this. many thanks in advance, reha
I bought p-nucleo lrwan2 working with STM32LO MCU,and i'am wondering to configure its device sensor as end node ,watching the last video posted by ST they were working with the same pack but they targered STM32WL as end node instead of working with the STM32LO.
This is the only code I could find. There is no information about which device this can be used with either. please help me
I want to use software uart in NUCLEO-WL55JC2.
Hi guys. When I program the device with LoRaWAN and DAC with pin extern (PA10), I saw in oscilloscope that DAC stay high every when has uplink. Like the image: Does anyone have any idea why this happens? Thanks!
Hi,I am looking for a dual core controller and options I have been able to find out are:Stm32Wb seriesStm32H seriesBeing, H series quite expensive, Is it possible to use WB series M0+ for running another application in parallel?Or we can only use it for Radio implementation.Regards,Anurag

There is something missing upon receiving junk .How do we keep the count of how much response will be received in advance ? should any flags be set to check whether the response received is correct and clear upon not receiving proper response , bit confused . please helpThanks in advance.
In STM32WL55JC2, there are LORAWAN, SubGHZ ,SigfoxI just want to connect physical lora TX RX .
Hello.I run BLE_HeartRate_ota example on STM32WB55 (nucleo MB1355C). After connecting to ST BLE Sensor App I have corresponded HeartBit application GUI.In the settings there is option "Set node time", but it is inactive. What should I add to STM32WB55 SW to activate this feature on my smartphone? Could somebody advise an example or an article, please?
We are trying to work out how much flash is used in total for a given project, and how much more is actually available for development. For example, when compiling the BLE_BloodPressure example project (in Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS\STM32CubeIDE), the Build Analyser output of the BLE_BloodPressure.map file is as below- Does this really mean that there is 449.25KB free, or is some of this used by the coprocessor binary?
I have a single channel lora GATEWAY (DRAGINO LGO2) since it can only transmit packets in 1 channel like 868400000, I couldnt activate my stm32-wl55Jc1 with that gateway via ABP mode. Would you please guide me to config the stm32-wl55Jc1 to transmit packets in just 1 frequency is there any solution?
I used STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1 and STM32_WL V1.0.0 to create the LoRaWAN_End_Node example project. When I edit the IOC file to simply add support for CRC and regenerate sources, I can no longer build the example.I get a huge number of duplicate symbol errors - example:C:/Users/danam/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.6.1/LoRaWAN_End_Node/Middlewares/Third_Party/LoRaWAN/Utilities/utilities.c:73: multiple definition of `memcpyr'; Middlewares/LoRaWAN/utilities.o:C:/Users/danam/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.6.1/LoRaWAN_End_Node/Middlewares/Third_Party/LoRaWAN/Utilities/utilities.c:73: first defined here c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.5.1\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: Middlewares/LoRaWAN/Utilities/utilities.o: in function `memset1': C:/Users/danam/STM32CubeIDE/workspace_1.6.1/LoRaWAN_End_Node/Middlewares/Third_Party/LoRaWAN/Utilities/utilities.c:82: multiple definition of `memset1'; Middlewares/LoR

I accidently put the FUS and BLE firmware in the wrong starting address. The chip has 1M flash. When I loaded the firmware, I was following the 512K flash memory location. Now I cannot perform full memory erase as some areas (from index 243 - 245, total of 255) are locked. Is there a way to erase these areas? Thanks,Charles
Hello!I'm using stm32wb nucleo board as a central device to connect multiple peripherals. An input data stream from one device is about 40 kb/s, there can be up to three devices. After successful connection the client board starts to get notifications. But at some point the central device stops processing events - such as ACI_GATT_NOTIFICATION_VSEVT_CODE, HCI_DISCONNECTION_COMPLETE_EVT_CODE etc (it could be 10 minutes, half hour or several hours). I know for sure that peripherals continue to transmit data. After this I can't disconnect peripherals, start discover or other ble actions. But as I can see in debugger peripheral stay connected. I have not found a reason why this happens and solution for this problem.Maybe someone had the same issue?Best regards,Den
Hello,I was wondering what the maximum transfer speed is of the single wired (Half-Duplex) LPUART connection of the STM32WB55CGU. The clock configuration shows a clock frequency of 64Mhz, the baud rate is by default 209700 Bit/s. Is it possible to transfer at 1Mbit/s, or more?Thank you!
Hi All, wondering if there are any Android/iOS libraries that allow integrating the OTA DFU update process for the STM32WB55 to our App?Thanks!
The example non-dual core runs perfect. The dual core doesn't run out of box. Is there some presentation or walkthrough I'm missing?
The board stays in join request mode. Single Core setup runs perfect.
