In ST's documentation, great pains seem to be taken to avoid specifically identifying the Semtech SX126x radio implementation. ST consistently refers to it as a "sub-GHz radio." Why is this?
Hello,I have problem with ADC using in LORA Porcess on NUCLEO WL55JC1.I modified project PING PONG(from LORA) to MASTER and SLAVE, where SLAVE send to MASTER in periodicly time a voltage form ADC, when I use ADC in main, everything its ok, but when I use it in LORA process then function HAL_ADC_PollForConversion return a HAL_TIMEOUT. Thank you in advance.P.S On footage "ADC_Timer" I only read a value from ADC not send to master yet.EDIT: I debuged this using APP_LOG and I saw that ADC_Enable go to this (image: "ADC_Enable"), and set to ErrorCode HAL_ADC_ERROR_INTERNAL, where in definition of this error code is that is "ADC peripheral internal error (problem of clocking, enable/disable, erroneous state, ...)
There is not available example code for the router to router connection.(https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/p-nucleo-wb55.html#documentation)Can anyone help & guide to solve this issue?
Hi I am using STM32WB55 p-nucleo board..I wanted help on how I can transfer file from mobile to device over Bluetooth using File Transfer Protocol
I would like to send an image of size 320x240 pixels using ZigBee mesh to the intended node from coordinator. What is the maximum range of ZigBee in mesh configuration achieved with STM32WB55 with external SMD antennaWhat is the power consumption in ZigBee mesh configuration for each node.I will have to send the image twice in a day and rest of the time all the zigbee nodes will be in sleep mode.. Is it possible to have wake on radio mechanism to keep the modules in sleep and wake up only when there is some data flow ?
Hello! At first I want to apologize for my bad english.I faced with the following problem.I have device with STM32L476 MC and STM32WB55CE. Input voltage around 4 V. This voltage go the the switching voltage regulator TPS63050RMWT. After switching on of device, bluetooth working is good. But after some time bluetooth is crashed. Although the main core work.I tried to add extra capacitors but this one did not solve my problem.I seted counter of radio activity event and increment this one in handler of radio activity event in app_ble.c and this counter was stoping on random number each other. Maybe I was wrong in power supply schematic?LVCC_OUT - input voltage for both boards. P.S. R32 - 10k for uncharge capacitors after switching off
Hi, i watched the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgsXMVZfoO8) from the getting started series. I followed the steps and everything worked til running the example. If I press debug everything starts and the led 6 blinks red and green. The console prints:"Download verified successfully. "(I moved the debugger till the while true loop).If I press run, everything seems to work as well, till "Download verified successfully." Immediately after this the console prints:"Debugger connection lost.""Shutting down..."and the led 6 is only red. In any case I cannot connect my phone with the board. Im using macOS, STM32Cube MCU Package 1.11.1 and the STM32WB55 Nucleo. Has anyone an idea why this does not work?Kind regards Till

I'm trying to get the idle power consumption of down to a few uA, but I cannot get it lower than around 920uA which is all being consumed by I_SYS.Has anyone been able to get it lower?I'm using the DCDC and TCXO (as far as I know).I don't think it would be the DCDC as that is powered by I_RF which idles ~0uA.I'm guessing the TCXO has something to do with it, but when I tried to use X3 instead (following the MB1389 instructions) the board didn't work, regardless of what SW changes I made.The board appears to be entering stop mode correctly.The power consumption is similar for the 1.1.0 firmware as well.The power consumption is roughly the same on my custom board as well.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello guys,I am using STM32WB and also get stuck when I try to enable hci_le_advertising_report_event()I use examble BLE_MeshLightingRFL and in function Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init(), I command function aci_gap_create_connection() at the endIt return BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS but the function hci_le_advertising_report_event() don't run. Is there anyway I can fix it.Thank you.
Hello?Likes title, I want to ask for writing method using ST-Link(SWD, 4000 kHz).Problem is error at erasing stage. I'trying STN32WLcube firmware 1.1.0. The LoRaWAN End Node works as aspected and now I need to add my sensors, but when I debug it I have the error "Target is not responding, retrying..."DEBUGGER_ENABLED value is set to 1 ( I think is the same as DEBUGGER_ON on FW 1.0.0).Any suggestion on how to work around this behavior?GrazieF.
TLDR; The current tools for BLE in STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeMX do not work properly for custom BLE profiles in the STM32WB55. When will the tools support it, and when will the documentation be updated with the current system?Firstly, I would prefer to raise the following with the ST **Issues** system (referred to README.md in the fw packs), but I can't find it!I am using the STM32CubeIDE to develop software for a small bluetooth project I am working on using the STM32WB55CGU (1M flash in UFQFPN48 package).I was running through the STM32WB workshop MOOC (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education/stm32-moocs/STM32WB_workshop_MOOC.html, youtube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnMKNibPkDnGRfqUO1Q_-1nW-tOKfDQbc), which is really good and helpful, UNTIL you get to section 4, "How to modify BLE profile", at which point the whole thing falls apart if you are using any of ST's tools from the last 6 months.The issues I have observed (thus far) in the
Hi, I am new to STM32.I am trying to implement LoRa Receiver and Transmitter code in STM32WL. I have tried to modify the Rx and Tx code using the Ping-Pong application code (subghz_phy_app.c) . I have added my Transmitter code below, can you please review the code and suggest changes. Also, how can I change the time duration of messages sent by the transmitter end node?Rgds,Frank/* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "platform.h" #include "stm32_timer.h" #include "sys_app.h" #include "subghz_phy_app.h" #include "radio.h" #include "stm32_seq.h" #include "utilities_def.h" #include "app_version.h" uint16_t BufferSize = BUFFER_SIZE; uint8_t Buffer[BUFFER_SIZE]; int8_t RssiValue = 0; int8_t SnrValue = 0; /* Led Timers objects*/ static UTIL_TIMER_Object_t timerLed; /* Radio events function pointer */ static RadioEvents_t RadioEvents; /* Private function prototypes -------------------------------------------
Hi everyone, I am trying to read ADC values from 4 different channels PC0 ------> ADC1_IN1 PC1 ------> ADC1_IN2 PC2 ------> ADC1_IN3 PC3 ------> ADC1_IN4I am able to get different values from different channel for the 1st iteration. but from the 2nd iteration i am getting same values from the last read channel in the 1st iteration.Please help me to figure out this issue.static void MX_ADC1_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */ LL_ADC_CommonInitTypeDef ADC_CommonInitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_InitTypeDef ADC_InitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_REG_InitTypeDef ADC_REG_InitStruct = {0}; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_ADC); LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOC); /**ADC1 GPIO Configuration PC0 ------>

According to the subject, I found I can't enter to the stop2 mode ,when i run the ble stack (APPE_Init() ) in p2p_server. I tried to use HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); behind the aci_gap_set_non_discoverable(); but it wasn't worked . What program i need to add?Thank you very much.
When attempting to add an accelerometer to the LoRaWAN_End_Node program, on the SPI1 interface, I find that it works (in polled mode) until the board sleeps and is woken with an interrupt. Then the SPI1 Control Register 1 and Control Register 2 are changed (so the accelerometer can't be accessed).I have spent ages chasing this, as the exact nature of the corruption changes as my code changes. Because the corruption showed as soon as an interrupt happens (GPIO (button press), timer, subGHz radio) I assumed the problem was related to interrupts. Then I figured the corruption might be due to activity just before the interrupt, as the chip is put in a low power state. Sure enough, changing LOW_POWER_DISABLE from 0 to 1 in sys_conf.h makes the problem vanish.Note the corruption varies and sometimes there is no corruption: CR1 can change from 0x035f to 0x0040 or to 0x0000 and CR2 can change from 0x1700 to 0x0700. The values are the same for a given build. It is almost as though it is code-po
Hello,I have an inquiry about the capabilities of my STM32WB55CE microcontroller. Is it possible to have an ADC conversion rate >= one million samples per second while having the system clock low enough to put the system into low power sleep mode (<2Mhz)?I've been using DMA to store conversions in a circular buffer, and I've been using the HAL library with CubeMX to initialize the ADC.I've tried playing with sample and hold times as well as the ADC clock and the System Clock, however, it seems like if I want a 1Msps I need to keep the system clock over 16Mhz. If I try to set the System clock to be any lower, I get an ADC overrun error. This means that the DMA cannot keep up with the rate of conversions done by the ADC.Are there any workarounds to this error that don't involve sacrificing the sampling rate or increasing power consumption?

I am not able to add opus firmware to my nucleo project. I am using Nucleo-WB55RG board and I am unable to configure the opus to my nucleo board, I am taking reference of Demo code available on website, the demo code is working the same opus I am unable to configure, I am getting the following error."#error "Opus requires one of VAR_ARRAYS, USE_ALLOCA, or NONTHREADSAFE_PSEUDOSTACK be defined to select the temporary allocation mode.""Please help me this.
I'm using two LRWAN NS1 with NUCLEO-L073RZ and I want to test PingPong with SubGHz_Phy_PingPong project.Project at Project-NUCLEO-L073RZ-Applications-SubGHz_Phy-SubGHz_Phy_PingPong-STM32CubeIDE-sx1276mb1mas is right project for the device?Do I have to connect cable with SWCLK and SWDIO pin on RHF0M003 to download the project?LoRaWan_End_Node project is right project for LRWAN NS1 if I want to communicate with gateway again after PingPong test?
Hello, I’m working with NUCLEO-WL55JC1. I’ve done some tests with STM32CubeIDE ver 1.6.1 firmware 1.0.0 (STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.0.0) and, after some difficulty, it’s working as aspected. To fix ideas on the job done, I’ve made a Youtube video (https://youtu.be/40wuXKoA44Y).Then I’ve updated STM32CubeIDE to version 1.7.0 and loaded a new firmware version 1.1.0. Of course, something is changed. Now seems that the use of BSP Driver is mandatory (file platform.h row 32). I’ve imported in my project, from firmware 1.1.0, the BSP driver and added the path on the IDE setting. Then I was able to compile without errors. I’ve sent the new code on the Nucleo board. It starts and I’ve initial data on debugger console. The initial try to connect to the TTN application shows that the join seems accepted, but then no more data are sent. It looks like if the loop (with default 1000 mS) does not take place. At the moment I have no idea how to proceed (again, I'll have to spend a very long time e to fix the
