I have STM32WB55 nucleo pack. The installation of STM32CubeProgrammer brought two tools STM32MP_KeyGen_CLI.exeSTM32MP_SigningTool_CLI.exe. Following instruction https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Signing_tool, a sample of signing command:./STM32MP_SigningTool_CLI -bin /home/User/BinaryFile.bin –pubk /home/user/publicKey.pem –prvk /home/user/privateKey.pem –iv 5 –pwd azerty –la 0x20000000 –ep 0x08000000What the load address and entry point for my STM32WB55 nucleo board?
Is STM32WB55REV6 has Trusted platform module (TPM) either integrated in to the microcontroller..? or additional module to enable the device level security (TBD).Can you please help me on the ablove
I need a 32-channel ADC system but my target microcontroller(STM32WB55) only has a 16-channel.So, I want to design two microcontroller systems but the timing would be the biggest problem. So, I wonder what's the best way to build a dual microcontroller system and how to make it communicate with each other and PC.
Hello,I wonder how the STM32WB device should be entered in SLEEP or STOP mode. Any specific actions to reduce the total consumption to the minimum, particularly thinking to the radio? When is it good to enter SLEEP or STOP mode ?If anyone can point a working example, it will be great :)Context : I have Thread (and in near future BLE+Thread) running on my device. I would like to put the total consumption to the minimum because the board is supplied with a small battery. Then periodically the device is wake-up, processing, sending data to the Thread network and finally goes to STOP mode again. Thanks,Joel
Hi All,I am trying to connect my p-Nucleo-wb55 board to a joystick using Bluetooth.the joystick I am working on is DualShock 4, and I have obtained its address from my PC.So is it possible to make a connection with the MCU with just the Bluetooth address? What Example would you recommend to use to build my project? I think it would be P2P_SERVER/CLIENT.Thanks in advanceMahmoud.
Hi... There Hope you all are doing well For the past few days, I'm dealing with the LoRaWAN Firmware having class-CIn my application, I need the continuous connection between Node to gateway and gateway to the Network server (As I want to receive the downlink continuously from the Network server)For the Firmware perspective, I'm using ST's I-CUBE-LRWAN Firmware packages having version 2.1.0 with ABP configuration For the LoRa chipset, I'm using SX1262 I'm dealing with the US frequencies at 915Mhz For the gateway, I'm using a multichannel indoor gateway from FriendcomFrom the Network server perspective, I'm using the private LoRaWAN network service hosted on AWS (https://github.com/gotthardp/lorawan-server)Problem statements:With class- C, I can send the uplink to the gateway and gateway to a Network server But unfortunately, Node unable to receive the downlink from the LoRaWAN network-serverTesting & Observation From the gateways logs, I can figure out
Hi,I wrote an application for the BME680 sensor on the LoRa-e5 (based on STM32WLE5JC).At the begin everything works normal but after about 70 minutes no more messages come to uart.in the Error Log I got this message:eclipse.buildId=Version 1.10.1 java.version=11.0.14.1 java.vendor=Eclipse Adoptium BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=de_AT Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64 org.eclipse.cdt.dsf.gdb Error Mon Aug 08 14:13:47 CEST 2022 Error in final launch sequence: Failed to execute MI command: target remote localhost:61234 Error message from debugger back end: localhost:61234: Connection timed out. org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Failed to execute MI command: target remote localhost:61234 Error message from debugger back end: localhost:61234: Connection timed out. at org.eclipse.cdt.dsf.concurrent.Query.get(Query.java:112) at org.eclipse.cdt.dsf.gdb.launching.GdbLaunchDelegate.launchDebugSession(GdbLaunchD
MCU: STM32WLE5CCIDE: Stm32CubeIDE 1.9.0I have generated a project using MX and thought I'd try the generated function for reading the temperature SYS_GetTemperatureLevel().It seemed to output rubbish so I started digging.SYS_GetTemperatureLevel() calls:ADC_ReadChannels(ADC_CHANNEL_TEMPSENSOR);I didnt really understand the macros in the SYS_GetTemperatureLevel() so I wrote an own function, but it doesnt really matter as the error is visible immitiately in the ADC value without calculations. At room-temperature the result from the ADC_ReadChannels(ADC_CHANNEL_TEMPSENSOR); should be close to the calibration value at 30C, but it isnt.I Wrote the following test-code to see the intermediate calculations more clearly.I noted that I started getting sane values (see comments in code) when single-stepping the code and after a while I isolated it to that a 2-3 seconds (!!!) delay between ADC_Enable() and LL_ADC_REG_StartConversion()Seemed to give much saner values (see comments below). It is like
Hi, I have shared my project schematic. it's should work or not? (SMPs not used)Problem : BLE cannot advertise, but this configuration in STM32CubeIDE can work with NUCLEO-WB55.
I'm using the STM32WLE5JBI6 part which has 128kB Flash and 48kB SRAM but it is not clear what address these have as the STM32CubeMX generated linker and header files is for the 256kB Flash and 64kB SRAM partAm I correct in thinking the layout for this part is as follows:Flash start address: 0x08000000 length: 128KSRAM1 start address: 0x20000000 length: 16KSRAM2 start address: 0x20008000 length: 32KIf so this is quite strange as the SRAM memory is no longer contiguous but I can't see anything that says otherwise
I have a self-design STM32WB board and properly flash "stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin", "stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin" and "BLE_TransparentMode_reference.hex" STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe. Now I am trying to use STM32CubeMonitor-RF. When I try to connect to it sometimes I receive "Device under test not responding. COM port closed". However, sometime it is connected and after some other actions be disconnected. The ACI Log is as follows:Can anyone help me to resolve this problem? Thanks.
The Mesh Library file ist in STM32CubeWB\Middlewares\ST\STM32_WPAN\ble\mesh\Library.And the user API is in ble_mesh.h.When i want to use it how it is described in ble_mesh.h there are many undefined references, so i have to implement many functions, but nowhere is described what and how it really works. All resources that i can find only describe how the ST Middleware works with the examples, but not really in Detail and without an Development Board. So can i use the Library without the ST BLE Mesh Middleware?

Hi everyone!I am trying to make the LoRaWAN Fragmented Data Blok Transport package work. As a first step, my goal is to send a file such as a txt document (or whatever) to my end-device.I work with a STM32WL and an End_Node project. I have already added packages to my End_Node project in order to enable Clock Synchronization feature and Multicast feature. I can clock synchronize my device and I can send multicast frames. It works well. Now, I want to add the Fragmented Data Blok Transport package. However, the files provided in the STM32WL package from ST are mixed up with FUOTA files. Moreover, the proposed files are pre-designed to do FUOTA. However, I only want to enable fragmentation. The questions are:- Does anyone know which files I have to add to my project?- I suspect that there will be some changes to make in files. What are the main modifications I must do if I want to achieve my goal?
Hi,I have stm32wle5 and a circuit to measure current. stm32 will generate a PWM using timer1 ch1. The opamp's output is also connected to the ADC input of stm32. I want to measure the current (read ADC values) when PWM is on. Preferably in the middle of the PWM high edge. In most of the examples, people use internal triggers to trigger ADC. I thought as all channels of one timer have the same frequency, can I use one channel to output pwn and another channel as PWM generation without output just to trigger ADC? And set their duty_cycle and everything the same? I'm unsure if they are entirely synced and if this is the right solution. Do you have any other recommendations? I also don't know how to do the measurement at the middle of PWM's high edge.circuit:timer1 and channel one config:timer1 ch2 config: ADC config: Note that I don't do a continuous conversion and just want one or maybe a few samples and take the average in each PWM period.Any help would be appreciated.ThanksUP
I am using the LPTIM1 to aquire a sensor measurement trough interruption each T period. When I set it in continous mode (reference manual says: To enable the continuous counting, the CNTSTRT bit must be set) everything works out well. HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Start_IT(&hlptim1, LPTIM1_PERIOD, LPTIM1_TIMEOUT);LPTIM1-> CR |= 0x00000005; // Enable and software trigger LPTIM1 in continuous modeHowever, I want to set it in single-shot mode (reference manual says: "To enable the one-shot counting, the SNGSTRT bit must be set). So I write:HAL_LPTIM_TimeOut_Start_IT(&hlptim1, LPTIM1_PERIOD, LPTIM1_TIMEOUT);LPTIM1-> CR |= 0x00000003; // Enable and software trigger LPTIM1 in single-shot modeBut the counter keeps going and going as in continuous mode, same behavior. Am I doing something wrong?? I tried both with TimeOut_Start_IT and Counter_Start_IT and the behavior is the same.

Hi.I'm having hard time with my custom board based on STM32WB15CC.I referred Nucleo-WB15 schematics but using ST-Link V2 instead of ST-Link on Nucleo Board.I had an experience of STM32F411 so I thought this time I also can do it by STM32WB15. However after I finished soldering and I'm just seeing 'No device found on target'.Is there anyone can advice me of my schematics? If schematics are not right way, I'm going to fix it. However, if schematics are right, maybe it will be soldering problem. I tried 3 boards to find my device by ST-Link but all of them are failed.
I work around a project based on STM32WB55.In this project it is necessary to keep a clock / calendar when the card is off.We usually use external real time clock / calendar such as PCF85063A.I work with the core board and try to use the WB55 RTC, with the VBat pin connected to an supercap cell, The VBat is enabled with 1.5K resistor and load correctly the supercap. If i do an software reset is all ok.When take out the power and restart it, the VBAT pin stay to 3V for long time, but my RTC will go back to 0 to all register calendar and time. You can help me?Thank you
Hello,I have STM32WLE5CBU6 and I communicate with my Quectel chip over standard UART communication (interface LPUART, PA2, PA3) via AT commands. Transmitting from STM to Quectel is always working well, but when I want to read response from Quectel chip, it in most cases does not work. Strange thing is that it sometimes after startup works (< 1 % of cases), however I do not have an idea why it sometimes works and sometimes does not.The behavior is the same all the time from power on:When it receives correctly first AT response, it receives correctly any other response. When it does not receive correctly first AT response, it does not receive correctly any other response.Sometimes it is ok the whole day, but when I try it again after a day, it stops working.I have tried:Changing domain voltage on Quectel chip (3,3 V and 1.8 V)Connecting oscilloscope to RX of STM - voltage levels seems to be okConnecting CH340 in parallel - CH340 reads correctly all responses from Quectel chip and STM d
Hello,I need to write data in the flash memory but i always have a hard fault !please check my code if some one can find the Issus ! (i written my own functions because i do not use hal library)void FLASH_Write_64(uint32_t WriteAddr, uint64_t *data, uint16_t NumToWrite){ uint16_t write_index = 0; //Unlock the Flash to enable the flash control register access FLASH_IF_Unlock(); //calculate the user Flash area uint32_t StartPage = FLASH_IF_GetPage(WriteAddr); uint32_t EndPageAdress = WriteAddr + NumToWrite*8; uint32_t EndPage = FLASH_IF_GetPage(EndPageAdress); //Erase the user Flash area FLASH_IF_Erase(StartPage, (EndPage - StartPage +1)); //Program the user Flash area word by word while(write_index < NumToWrite) { FLASH_IF_Program(WriteAddr, data[write_index]); WriteAddr += 8; write_index++; } //Lock the Flash to disable the flash control register access (recommended //to protect the FLASH memory against possible unwanted operation) FLASH_IF_Lock();}void FLASH_IF_Erase(uint32_t Fi
I have two P-Nucleo-WB boards and both of them end up in this state.CubeIDE trying to load binary:CubeProgrammer: Found several topic that looks the same however nothing helped. Has anyone solved this problem?
I made an acquisition board with STM32WB55rgv6. I want to save ads1299 sampling data to SD card by FATFS(via spi). But my write speed is only 1KB. Here are the measures I have tried:①Improve SPI clock②Replace faster SD card③Mybuffer is 51200BAlthough every time I write in a single block instead of multiple blocks, and I only use SPI, not DMA. But the write speed is too low, only 1KB. I've browsed through many measures, but they still haven't saved me.
int8_t set_tx_power = 6; int8_t get_tx_power = 0; /* Set the radio's transmit power in dBm. */ error = otPlatRadioSetTransmitPower(NULL, set_tx_power); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE){ } /* Get the radio's transmit power in dBm.*/ error = otPlatRadioGetTransmitPower(NULL, &get_tx_power); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE){ } APP_DBG("Transmit Power = %d", get_tx_power); The transmit power is always 0, I used STM32WB5MM-DK to do the test.
For example, I use usb_dongle as TransparentMode to connect the P-Nucleo-WB55. I want to STM32MON_RF to view the battery level notification and I want to save the data, i don't know how to store bu using this tool...:face_with_tears_of_joy:
