HiI changed my old files(1.13) to the new files from 'heart rate ble free rtos' (1.15)Files: shci.h , app_conf.hCpu2 will not wake up. When I revert everything works. What is causing this?
Using either the default program or programming the BLE_TransparentMode default hex file results in this error. I have both a windows 10 and macOS 10.14.4 machine that I get this result. The VCOM port doesn't seem to be the issue as I can program and see the units. Any help would be much appreciated!
Hello,I have an ultra low power application and must share SRAM2a with BLE. For power reasons, RAM1, and SRAM2b cannot be used. The CubeProgrammer refuses to re-program SBRSA to anything but 0xA.More details:I am using Full BLE wireless stack: 'stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin'. SBRSA is programmed to 0xA, which matches the 10K provided to RAM_SHARED from the linker file. I believe, that means SRAM2a is completely occupied by RAM_SHARED (10 KB) plus the Secure section (22 KB).I would like to shrink RAM_SHARED based on the map file, and push SBRSA up to make room for my application's data. I need about 10 KB, but it will be nice to get more.I basically have three issues:1) What is the procedure/tool to reprogram SBRSA as CubeProgrammer refuses to program anything but 0xA.2) How much actual memory Full BLE Stack take from the Secure section. All 22KB?3) Is there anything in RAM_SHARED that is not specified by the map file?Thank you in advance.
Hi, I would like to ask how to remove bonded devices permanently on P-NUCLEO-WB55 eval kit and on dongle?Right now I have a situation, that after reset, even if I used 'aci_gap_remove_bonded_device' in a previous session, I see still bonded devices. I used also 'aci_gap_clear_security_db', but it works only in a current session. If I restart the board the bonded devices are still there - 'aci_gap_get_bonded_devices' returns 'Num_of_Addresses > 0'.In 'app_conf.h' I changed values of CFG_BLE_IRK and CFG_BLE_ERK to {0x00..0x00} or to {0xFF..0xFF} to enforce clear a non-volatile memory (clear LTK), but it didn't help too.Could you help?BR,Krystian

I've just gotten a Nucleo-WL55JC1 and am having a bit of trouble getting the dual core example applications working out of the box. The single core AT_Slave and End_Node examples do however compile, program and run on the M4 core with no issue. We are able to set up the node and get it joined to our lrwan network. I am using the CubeIDE toolchain. This is my first go at working with a dual core STM32 so it's quite possible I'm just missing something fundamental. The first issue seems to be in the program size for the M0+. With the default project configuration, the binary for this core ends up taking overflowing its 128k allocated ROM by 7360bytes. I am able to correct for this by either turning on any degree of compiler optimization, or by adjusting the ROM regions defined in the linker script for the M4 and M0+ cores to give the M0+ more space. After implementing either of the above changes to allow the build to complete, I set up a debug configuration flash both images and attach the
Hello,I am using STM32L412CBT6 MCU with STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeFW_L4 V1.17.2.I am using en.i-cube_lrwan for our project. I am using same structure of libraries used in this en.i-cube_lrwan package.I am using below libraries for rtc:1)rtc_if.c2) rtc.c3) stm32_systime.c4) stm32_timer.cI use the SysTimeSet() function for time sync, and to get time I used SysTimeGet() function. For sync time, I have to send command through uart, containing current time, which will call SysTimeSet() function.I have set date time of 13 January 2023 in all devices, and on today (3 March 2023), all devices shows time of 13 January 2023.So, what causes this type of issue after 49 days?.Please help us to solve this problem, this is very critical issue for us.Thank You
Hello, currently I am working on stm32wb55 MCU. I want to read, write and notify the sensors data to peripheral(phone) from the central device(stm32wb55). I have done read and write characteristics in service but I didn't know how to enable notify characteristic and how to send data from to notify to a peripheral device.
Hello,I am using the STM32WB55 P-Nucleo dev board to try and send a data packet from the development board to a mobile app. I assume to use P2PServer for this and have figured out how to advertise and make a connection. Where I am stuck is setting up the service and characteristics to send a fixed size data packet over BLE. Can anyone help me understand how to do this? Thanks so much in advance.
The Interface of the Library (ble_mesh.h) in the STM32WPAN layer seems not up to date, some functions does not work (like BLEMesh_SetRemotePublication) and the descriptions are outdated. The return value of some functions are misleading/wrong, e.g. the function BLEMesh_SetRemotePublication() will return an MOBLE_RESULT_FAIL when the subscription and publication address of the elements are not equal, but the message will be send anyways. Is there a Debug function for the library blob except the "libBle_Mesh_CM4_GCC_DEBUG.a" file ?We would like to get the raw data the library will send for each message for example, but the debug output does not print this information. Is there an additional description only for the interface except the ble_mesh.h?Will this library blob get a rework? Thanks

Hi,I am trying to flash basic Led blinking code. During the flashing, I have seen the error which is attached with this forum. I have double checked the connections.Details of the board: LoRa-E5 Dev Board which has STM32WLE5JC.Debugger: Segger JlinkIDE: STM32CUBEIDE Please do the needful.ThanksMahesh
Regarding P/N: STM32WB55 in a WLCSP100 package:Q1: When VBAT is not in use, can I connect it to GND?Q2: When VDDA is not in use, it must be connected to VDD, but is it still requires a 10 nF + 1 μF capacitors?Q3: If VDDA is not in use, can I connect VREF+ to GND?Thanks!Nir
I'm starting to use the NUCLEO-WB55RG dev board but can only find a 'databrief'. Is there somewhere I can find a more detailed 'datasheet'? Something that shows which pins are connected to what on the board? Hopefully some address mapping as well for embedded C applications. TIA
Hello ST-Community,I have two NUCLEO64 STM32WL55JC1 development boards and am trying to get the LocalNetwork example up and running. A build can be easily generated from the LocalNetwork_Concentrator in the CubeIDE and transferred to the board. On the other hand, the LocalNetwork_Sensor shows a malfunction. The build cannot be completed successfully because the includes "demo_package_format.h" and "version.h" fail. When examining the firmware package manually, the files could not be found either. Is the error due to an incorrect procedure on my part, or were the required ST include files incorrectly not provided in the firmware package?Attached is a screenshot of the error message in the STMCubeIDE.I use the following software:STM32CubeIDE 1.11.2STM32CubeMonitor 1.5.0STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32WL series V1.3.0
Hi Guys,I have problems reading. I have followed the STM32WB Workshop on stm32wb (using mx version 5.4.0). Now i'm trying to read but all examples seem to only use notifying and writing.I have the following char created and added some default value.aci_gatt_add_char(SvcHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, &uuid16, 1, CHAR_PROP_READ | CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE | GATT_NOTIFY_READ_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP, 10, 0, &(AlarmThresholdHandle)); uint8_t pData[1] = {59}; aci_gatt_update_char_value(SvcHandle, AlarmThresholdHandle + 1, 0, /* charValOffset */ 1, /* charValueLen */ pData); Within server app handler it enters this case when im reading, and found the right handler. This is the part where i get lost, what to do next? I implemented the following but that does not work.case EVT_BLUE_GATT_READ_PERMIT_REQ: { aci_gatt_read_permit_req_event_rp0* attributeToRead; attributeToRead = (aci_gatt_read_
Hi, am working on a STM32WL55 solution that has both Hi power (RFO_HP) and Low power (RFO_LP) circuitry included (like that of the WL55 Nucleo PCB, either one of which is used at a time). Am at a component placement situation where the VR_PA signal line has to physically cross over RFO_HP signal line but on different layers. Would it be advisable to route the VR_PA connection from the feedback noise filter network on a separate layer cutting across the RFO_HP line, in perpendicular to each other? Components are only on one side of the board as overall finish has this limitation. Thank you.
Hi, I'm using the CM4 core to receive the data and store it in the SD card, once the FATFS only works on this core. Furthermore, I want to send this data via LoRa, but it only works on the other core (CM0Plus). How can I share this information between them? Any article or guidance is welcome. Other thing that occured to me is that I can just have the same code running in both cores (only with the respective parts). For example, activate ADC for both cores and declare the same variables and pins. Is that possible? If it is, is it worth it, or it's better to share the data between them?
Hi,I have a project where im using the STM32WB5MM-DK to develop code to act as a ble P2P client. I have the development board setup as a P2P client and the code is working fine. but when introducing the code to initialize the onboard OLED screen my Bluetooth scanning seems to not function anymore.Am I missing something with interrupts or Systicks?Any help would be much appreciated,Thanks,Chris
I would like to implement UHF transmission with QPSK modulation using the STM32WL. The required data rate is slow, so direct control of modulation may be possible if the transceiver peripheral cannot achieve it natively. Has anyone managed this, or tried it, or have any suggestions on approaches to try?
Hello,Can anyone help me on how to receive characters from STM32WB55 to the USB DONGLE as a receiver to show the ADC values. Or send the values via BLE Gatt to an android application using the inbuilt BLE services in STM32WB55.The material offered are too shallow especially the USB Dongle.Thank you.Regards,M.E
We are using STM32WB55RE in our application. we are trying to achieve ~10uA current consumption in sleep. But, 22uA(stable for 10min) immediately after entering sleep. After 10min current consumption start decreasing eventually to 14uA in next 60min. Why the current consumption start decreasing after 10min and how to achieve minimum stable current consumption immediately after entering sleep?
I have used UART example code for P-NUCLEO_WB55 board to check it's UART.Now i want to share that project to another team memberBut if i just Copy paste project folder to other file location than it gives me compilation errors of Few files missing.I have also tried to Export that project by Clicking File->Export than also i was not able to build that project.Let me know solution of this.
