Good Morning,I’m a little bit lost with your REACH certificate. Can you tell me which category the products below belong to ?LIS2DH12TR MLPF-WB55-01E3 STM32WB30CEU5A Are there SVHC in this products ? Thanks
Hi,I am creating a battery operated device using the STM32WB10 and I need to figure out how to make use of the claimed 30nA shutdown current consumption. (I realize this is at certain voltage and temperature ranges). The best I have been able to achieve is 140µA with an absolute basic program like thisvoid main() { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Configure(); HAL_Delay(1500); //to verifiy the current decreases HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode(); while(1); }If I create a more productive application using the CPU2 and BLE, then I am not able to enter shutdown mode, and it seems the stop0/1 modes are also non functional. My guess is that I need to stop the CPU2 or reset somehow in order to halt the BLE stack (running the full BLE stack from ST).But how do I do that???In essens I need to know the correct way to turn the BLE stack on and off so I am able to use the shutdown feature. As a side note, all the documentation online states that there are 5 external wakeup pins on these devices (as on slide
Hi,I would like to refer to the P-NUCLEO-WB55 example BLE_Custom and apply it to the stm32wb30 custom board.I have succeeded in operating BLE_Custom in LPM mode on NUCLEO-WB55 by referring to the following questions.Stm32WB custom BLE example issue with low powerBased on this example, I modified the following code to operate LPM mode on STM32WB30.//stm32_lpm_if.c //static void ExitLowPower(void) /* USER CODE BEGIN ExitLowPower_1 */ LL_RCC_HSE_Enable( ); __HAL_FLASH_SET_LATENCY(FLASH_LATENCY_1); while(!LL_RCC_HSE_IsReady( )); LL_RCC_SetSysClkSource(LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_HSE); while (LL_RCC_GetSysClkSource( ) != LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_STATUS_HSE); /* USER CODE END ExitLowPower_1 *///app_ble.c //void APP_BLE_Init(void) /* USER CODE BEGIN APP_BLE_Init_4 */ #if (L2CAP_REQUEST_NEW_CONN_PARAM != 0) UTIL_SEQ_RegTask(1<<CFG_TASK_CONN_UPDATE_REG_ID, UTIL_SEQ_RFU, Connection_Interval_Update_Req); #endif /* L2CAP_REQUEST_NEW_CONN_PARAM != 0 */ /* USER CODE END APP_BLE_Init
Via USB interface the -rst using CLI was not working and even in GUI these options were grayed out or not available. Please refer the below images for reference.Using the WB package - 1.15Using the STM32Cubeprogrammer - 2.12Is there any possible way to reset the microcontroller via USB?
we are strugling in our project that is now in a trial with the customer and I need your tech support to provide the information on the way to increase the TX power to maximum. We are now seeing a -30dbm directly from the STM32WLE5JCI6 pinout RFO_HP.Please advise the correct way to enable the maximum output power.See below the drawing, we are connecting directly to measure the powerI'm using coax cable via spectrum analyzer to measure it. what am I doing wrong?
Hello,I'm currently working on an application that integrates the LoRaWAN stack (version 2.1.0), and has to use USART2 to send/receive data. USART2 is already used by the trace utility, to send trace messages. I activated RX on interruption by calling UTIL_ADV_TRACE_StartRxProcess().While performing some tests, I discovered a problem: if a byte is received while HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() is being executed, the RX interrupt service code sees the USART's data as being locked and returns without re-enabling RX interrupt. Consequence: the USART can't receive bytes anymore.I just corrected this by disabling USART interrupts when a DMA TX operation is initialized:UTIL_ADV_TRACE_Status_t vcom_Trace_DMA(uint8_t *p_data, uint16_t size) { // Disable USART interrupts while starting the DMA TX otherwise an RX // interrupt could happen while USART's data is locked, and RXNEIE would // be left reset. HAL_NVIC_DisableIRQ(USARTx_IRQn); HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart2, p_data, size); HAL_NVIC_Ena

We are working with android and there are multiple problems it is causing us with its Service Changed characteristic. Is there a way it will not be created? Some chcekbox in CubeMx or else?Cheers!
Hi,We are designing ou custom Lora application based on the STM32WLE5CCU6 MCU.1- We would like to know if there is an eval board that can be used in manufacturing tests to perform a pingpong communication test (between our custom board and the eval board). Is there an AN that decribes such test ?What we ve found is this document that can be used to perform a ping pong test.https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5406-how-to-build-a-lora-application-with-stm32cubewl-stmicroelectronics.pdfAre there any other related documents ?For the eval board we ve found two boards:https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-wl55jc.htmlhttps://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stdes-wl5u2sbb.htmlThe later one do not have any mention to the STM32WLE5CCU6 MCU (Only STM32WL5)Which eval board should be used ?2- Is it possible to generate a continuous waveform from the STM32WLE5CCU6 MCU in order to make frequency and power measurements ?ThanksBR
Hello,Not a question but since I searched for this information and could not locate it anywhere, I post it here to maybe help others. When calling aci_gatt_init(void), it is said that the Service Changed Characteristic is added automatically. /** * @brief ACI_GATT_INIT * Initialize the GATT layer for server and client roles. It adds also the GATT * service with Service Changed Characteristic. [...]The "Service Changed" characteristic is thus always added with the very same handle (which is a requirement for it to be usable), but after that it is basically never mentioned again anywhere in the code or documentation. No info on what this handle is, nor what the payload should be to use it.So here is how to use it from the Server side (to say that things changed), for those like me who want to experiment with variable lists of services in their BLE devices.#define GENERIC_ATTRIBUTE_SERVICE_HANDLE (0x0001) #define SERVICE_CHANGED_CHARACTERISTIC_HANDLE (0x0002) tBleStatus ble_indic
Hi I am using Nucleo-WL55JC1 boards with STMCubeWL firmware version 1.2.0. I have problem with multicast group FUOTA on Lorawan that send package to only one device even though there are more devices in the group. All devices work in class C.Thank you for your help Patryk
I have designed a custom developer board based on STM32WB55CGU6. I have both JTAG and SWD pins on the board. None of them works when I try to connect the board to the STLINK v3MINIE. Except any hardware issues, what else do you suggest for the very first-time flash for a new MCU.
I have successfully implemented a ZigBee coordinator/router with an on/off-server-cluster based on a STM32WB5MMG module. My application is able to form a network and automatically allows certain off-the-shelf ZigBee On/Off-Clients to join the network and bind to the cluster within my device. Persistency is working well, too.As long as my coordinator is fabric new it starts forming the network and allows other devices to join for a certain periode of time. But when there is valid persistence data no additional devices can join, because the network forming process is skipped (I followed the "Zigbee_OnOff_Coord_NVM" example from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.16.0).This raises two questions:1) How can I allow more devices to join the network? Wich API functions must I call for that?2) How can I detected that the joining-window has closed on my coordinator?Thank you very much for any hints or help Thomas
I am using a "Sigfox AT Slave" example project. When I type the AT command to get the Sigfox ID or PAC I get an "OK" message as if the command worked, but the ID or PAC do not appear.
My application uses an sx1262 LoRa sub GHz transceiver. I need an MCU which has very low power consumption as well as high performance efficiency. In that case which option will be the best? Is it to choose a lower power series MCU and add an extra transceiver or use STM32WLE5x MCU which has an inbuilt transceiver?
Hello,I have a STM32WLE that works with the lora end_node projectI have a sensor that i power up with a mosfet when needed. But during the time that the chip is sleeping i need to disable the internal I2C pullup (+30 uA more due to the fact that the VCC of the sensor don't control the internal pullup). But when i call all the function that can possibly disable the PULLUP (via i2c functions or GPIO_DeInit) the sensor isn't responding even if i call MX_i2c_init()Can someone help meThanks
Hi, I am using the NUCLEO-STM32WL55JC1 LoRaWAN board, which I have connected to the TTN through the OTAA activation method as seen in the snapshot below. Now I wanna connect it via the ABP activation method, however, the device can't connect to the TTN. Can someone let me know what mistake is occurring?
Hi.I am using STM32WL55.I set USART1 with DMA tx and DMA rx.I tried to transmit some data as follows. printf("[*] Program Ver 0.2.0.0\r\n"); printf("\r\n"); printf("Net> ");"[*] Program Ver 0.2.0.0\r\n" and "\r\n" are transmitted.but "Net> " is displayed on terminal. If you change "Net> " to "Net> \r\n" and send it, it will be transmitted normally. What's the problem. How can I fix it.Please, let me know how to resolve the problem.Thank you.
I am developing an application on the Seeed Lora-E5 module, which contains an STM32WLE5.Currently I am programming the device via the SWD interface, but for future firmware updates I want to use the UART, (this UART is available externally through a USB-UART chip). The problem now is how to make the device switch to the internal bootloader : unfortunately the Boot0 (PH3) PIN on the STM32WLE5 is NOT made available on the package of the Seeed Lora-E5 module, so I cannot use that pin..From the AN3155 I see that the CubeMx Programmer is sending 0x7F to the UART, in order for the MCU to select the UART as programming interface. So here is my idea : after reset, I could listen to the UART for eg. 30 seconds, and if in this time a 0x7F byte arrives, jump to the bootloader. (if the 30 seconds expire, the device starts in normal operation mode).I am aware that the bootloader expects the MCU in the same state as after reset, so I will take that into account, be resetting already configured UART (
HelloI'm developing a project on chip STM32WB55. I have referenced the demo aboutBLE-HID of ST's "STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.16.0". The sample code looks define for mouse usage. Could anyone can teach me how to integrated send volume up key into this sample code (BLE_HID) ?
Hello and good day to you all. I just realised that there were not many articles about the STM32WLE5J in the past and now some topis are added - luckily. And I´m a total beginner to the stm32 enviroment and I really miss a tutorial on how to setup the STM32WLE5J right from the beginning. I can make it to appear in the STM cube MX, but after initializing it via the chip number (it´s a Seed wio e5 mini) the trouble starts. Because there is no board config available and I have to configure everything by myself and thats quite frustrating.Unfortunately most of the tutorials deal with the nucleo board where you get a pre-configured layout out of the box. So maybe someone can make a short video of how to setup a STM32WLE5J all components to start programming? Ideally a Seeed wio e5 mini :)Any tutoria or link will help of course, this would be really great :)Regards Dom
