I want to build a GUI with STemwin but I can't find graphics item in middlewares within the cubemx configurator !.Is it possible to build it? Why there is not Graphics configuration menus?
Hi ,I am trying to interface a touch scren lcd with stm32 board. I have an mcufriend 2.4" touch screen lcd and i intend to interface it with nucleo-f303re board. I ,unfortunately, am not able to find a datasheet for the lcd. I know that the lcd can be interfaced with spi. but as i mentioned i do not have any datasheet for the lcd. Does anyone has any information on where to find the datasheet or a library for the lcd?
guı_touch_exec (); Command does not compile error gives.

Many many thanks.:smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Is it possible to assign the text alignment (left, center, right) through code? If yes, how?
Hello, when I run the code with the STM32F769 discovery bord display, everything works fine. But when I use a differnt display the constructor for the start screen is not called from touch gfx lib. Does anybody know why this is only working with the discovery display?BRDaniel Pfeil
Hi,I'm trying to generate a new project for the STM32F469IDISCOVERY using CubeMX 5.2.0 and TouchGFX 4.10.0. All peripherals are initialized with the default modes. I use STM32CubeIDE as toolchain/IDE.After enabling the Graphics framework using TouchGFX in 'middleware', I press the 'generate code' button and code is generated. After that I press 'execute' to execute the TouchGFX GUI. Right after TouchGFX is started, I get the following error code: 'Error during code generation'.The following errors can be observed from the log: C:/TouchGFX/4.10.0/env/MinGW/msys/1.0/Ruby193/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/touchgfx-cli-4.10.0/lib/touchgfx/generators/sw4_project_updater.rb:74:in `block in ensure_source_nodes': undefined method `add_child' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) from C:/TouchGFX/4.10.0/env/MinGW/msys/1.0/Ruby193/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/touchgfx-cli-4.10.0/lib/touchgfx/generators/sw4_project_updater.rb:62:in `each' from C:/TouchGFX/4.10.0/env/MinGW/msys/
Trying to get a new display board working using STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX. Processor is STM32F469BI, Display is an 800x480 with 24BPP RGB888 interface. I've also got a 128Mb x 32 external SDRAM for the frame buffer. I've gone through the data sheets to set up the FMC and LTDC, etc, and have tried to get images to appear on the screen, with no success. So far the closest I've gotten is shown below. TouchGFX Simulator output, followed by my LCD image. It looks like the correct information is in there, but just not being displayed correctly, obviously. Anyone ever see anything like this and have any suggestions of what I need to tweak to produce the correct display image? Thanks in advance for any help. Been struggling with this for many days now!
If I configure the LTDC interface on my STM32F746IE device, TIM2 is disabled.I can reset the state of LTDC_R2 (PA1), then TIM2 is available, but disables itself after reconfiguring LTDC.PA0 = TIM2 CH1PA2 = TIM2 CH3I searched accros the datasheet, reference manual and errata but was not able to find any restriction by using TIM2 and LTDC simultaneously.Do I miss something here or is this a bug?
I am using touchGFX to develop a screen. Now there is a problem .When I add a ClickListener and ClickAction Callback to a box, a click on the box will be identified as a click. But if I want to use a gesture on the box , I found it will be identified as a click too. It is not what I want. I found a article in TouchGFX Knowledge base , but I was told I'm not authorized to access this page. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Or can anyone access this page? The address is https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205983261Thanks a lot!
I want to use the LTDC controller to output to a TFT using internal memory as the framebuffer but am confused by the datasheet. Please could you confirm if I can use:"D1 domain, AXI SRAM:–AXI SRAM is mapped at address 0x2400 0000 and accessible by all system masters except BDMA through D1 domain AXI bus matrix. AXI SRAM can be used for application data which are not allocated in DTCM RAM or reserved for graphic objects (such as frame buffers)"or does this text imply I have to use"•D2 domain, AHB SRAM:–AHB SRAM1 is mapped at address 0x3000 0000 and accessible by all system masters except BDMA through D2 domain AHB matrix. AHB SRAM1 can be used as DMA buffers to store peripheral input/output data in D2 domain, or as code location for Cortex®-M4 CPU (application code available when D1 is powered off"Thanks in anticipation
For projects with a small display, I would like to control display using external navigation buttons or an encoder. Is it possible to connect the encoder and move the focus between the buttons an then click on it?
Hello, our product need a camera, and we found that STM32F207VC could meet our demands. But I'm not sure if the MCU support JPEG compress on chip-side. Thanks in advance!
Hard to believe, we have an F469 MCU (chosen due to a number of attributes) that will not use the DSI.Other than with standard GPIOs, were unused pins are configured as outputs and set to 0 (zero), this doesn't seem to be possible with the DSI I/O pins. Now what ?Best regards
HelloI'm working with a custom board based on a STM32F767IIT MCU with the framework touchGFX. The external flash is MT25QL512ABB8ESF.Is there any solution to load the external flash with st-link utility or another tool?Do I have to write an external loader for st-link? If so how can this be done?RegardsDejan
I have a proof of concept to use touchGFX to implement display on some custom hardware. The processor is an STM32F746BGT6 part. I've been able to execute touchGFX4.10.0 from the STM32CubeIDE MX view and use it to generate code. The issue can be observed in the attached video. On the first screen, bracketing the first button, there are two vertical white lines. This same type of line can be seen on the second screen interspersed in the first half of the text. I've moved the assets into local flash to ensure that there isn't some strange issue with QUADSPI. I'm unsure what the cause of this could be. I can confirm that the contents of the frame buffer, when viewed in debug mode, do in fact contain these white lines. This indicates to me that there might be some issue in drawing the screen. Any help would be appreciated.Don
My problem is simple, probably silly. I couldn't find any answer, even in other working projects from the net. I can't enable TouchGFX in Middleware (I can only enable STemWin Display Bus Interface using FMC). What am I missing:1.Connectivity->FMC2.Multimedia->DMA2D3.Multimedia->LTDC4.Computing->CRC5.Middleware->FreeRTOSAnd TouchGFX is still faded. What is wrong? I've checked DataSheet, Reference Manual, Errata, TouchGFX site, many other sites and somehow I am still missing something. Can you point my mistake?
I'm using TouchGfx 4.6.1 (I know, pretty old Draupner code from 3 years ago). The application runs on a STM32F469 with an AMOLED MIPI-DSI display.I am trying to render a screen, put the processor into STANDBY, the display into its lowest power idle mode, then wake up the MCU periodically and update the screen. I have the DSI part down. What I can't figure out is how to make TouchGFX not "flicker" with an obvious erase-then-re-render of the GUI. Think of a LED digital clock updating once a minute. That's the effect I'm after.I have no problem achieving this in very manual graphics code against AMOLEDs, as I have complete control over the sequence of rendering and transferring the framebuffer. I'm not sure how to achieve this in TouchGFX, as it seems to be continuously rendering and transferring in the background (it seems to be very animation-oriented). Is there a simple way to do it? Should I use double buffering? Thanks,Peter
Hi, is there some solution to get it work? Thanks
Hi, I've ordered some ST32H757 chips where MIPI DSI is an option...Which is interesting but I'm trying to see the pros and cons of this compared to RGB control for an 800x480 res screen. Apart from needing more pins directly to the LCD interface, are there any pros/cons of sticking with RGB?
For now, STM32CubeIDE have an option to enable TouchGFX. However it does not compile after code generating. I tried to solve the problems but I have not succeeded for the moment (using STM32F746G DISCO, C++). For information, I saw and followed the guide written by Martin KJELDSEN a few days ago.So my question is : when will STM32CubeIDE will support TouchGFX ? Or will ST publish an official programming guide to do this ?Best regards,Valentin Gros
HI,I port emWin to stm32f769, use DSI cmd model .I need to use image with alpha , it can be ARGB565 or ARGB4444,the problem is , emWin supports ARGB565, not support ARGB4444,and the LTDC supports ARGB444 , not support ARGB565.GUI.h///////////////////////////////////////////#define GUI_DRAW_BMP444_12 &GUI_BitmapMethods444_12 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMPM444_12 &GUI_BitmapMethodsM444_12 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMP444_12_1 &GUI_BitmapMethods444_12_1 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMPM444_12_1 &GUI_BitmapMethodsM444_12_1 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMP444_16 &GUI_BitmapMethods444_16 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMPM444_16 &GUI_BitmapMethodsM444_16 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMP555 &GUI_BitmapMethods555 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMPM555 &GUI_BitmapMethodsM555 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMP565 &GUI_BitmapMethods565 /* Method table ! */#define GUI_DRAW_BMPM565 &GUI_BitmapMeth
Hello,I'm trying to extend the example given in 'Method 2 - From other task', given here: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205074561-Connecting-the-UI-to-your-systemI am using the 746-Disco board and the example works just fine on my hardware. My end goal is to have a task in the RTOS that can handle serial communication and send along info to the screen model (or transmit data entered on the screen).to get started I have created a new task (serial_task) and placed it in serial.c (and serial.h). Basically I have just copied the 'condenser.c/.h' file combo and renamed the functions.I have added serial.h to main.cpp and serial.c to the makefile.I can compile just fine and I can even swap the two tasks around.what I can NOT do is get them to work side by side.In my main.cpp I have this:xTaskCreate(condenser_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"CondenserTask", 512, NULL, configGUI_TASK_PRIORITY+1, NULL); xTaskCreate(serial_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"SerialTask", 512, NUL
I used cubemx to generate the project, using designer generate gui code. This project works well in VS, MDK and development boards. But use run simulator in designer to prompt the errors shown in the figure.Excuse me, where did this go wrong, how should revise.Thank you very much!
