Please add a "save as" option. This is useful for saving different iterations of a UI
Hello,TouchGfx v4.17.0CubeIDE v1.11.2I am using the .ioc UI to add an analogue pin for use with GUI, but when I save and generate code, it removes several TouchGfx files making code uncompilable, am I missing something in TouchGfx set up from CubeIDE? TouchGfx itself generates code fine into CubeIDE and the deployment to board is also fine, I suspect there is just some buried option I am missing hopefully. Re-generating code from TouchGfx Designer doesn't repair missing filesThanks
I've copied all the various examples of using LTDC to drive a VGA screen and implemented them on the STM32H743II with 64Mbit SDRAM using the normal SDRAM timings. Everything works except that the RAM reading is too slow to keep up with the LTDC requests resulting in data corruption on the screen. This is proved by slowing down the request rate when everything works perfectly (12.5MHz). I've looked at the reference manual and the datasheet but can't work out what drives the FMC clock - is it fixed frequency , if so what?Any pointers appreciated - surely an H743 @ 400MHz should be able to do this when lot of people have it working on the STM32F429.
I've created a TouchGFX (TouchGFX Designer v 4.21.1) project using the STM32H7B3I-DK board. The project has a couple of gauges where I'm able to manipulate their setting based on a load cell being read through an ADC. Everything is working fine. Now I need to add a UART, so I modified the TouchGFX generated CubeMX (ver 6.7.0) IOC file to add UART4, using pins PH13, PH14 (goes to header on the discovery board). NO DMA, NO INTERRUPTS. FreeRTOS is being used. After re opening the newly generated code in CUBEIDE (ver 1.7.0), I simply build to make sure all is still ok. I get multiple instances of the following error (about 34 of them)C:/TouchGFXProjects/TrailerTest/Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32h7xx_hal_uart.c:659:8: error: 'UART_HandleTypeDef' {aka 'struct __UART_HandleTypeDef'} has no member named 'RxEventType'Other errors are generated as well such as:C:/TouchGFXProjects/TrailerTest/Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32h7xx_hal_uart.c:3734:24: error: 'HAL_UART_RXEVENT_TC' undec
Hello,I'm curious to know why the animateToItem() function of the scrollList doesn't set the offset member (the value that is obtained with the function getOffset() )?I need to use that offset to be able to set up the position of a scrollBar widget that is connected to that scrollList… Any idea of what's happening ?Thanks in advance :)
I am trying to design the code so if both flex buttons are toggled on, a container will appear on screen. To me it would appear to be a simple solution, set up an interaction to where if one of the Offer Draw buttons are pressed it will check if both are pressed and then show the container but it will not work. I have tried several solutions. TouchGFX does not like infinite loops. The project is successfully running target so it is not a typo issue, I have tried check on every N tick but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I connected JP1 part to 3.3V pin, Gnd to Gnd pin, Mosı, Mıso, CS and Clk pin to CS,Mosı,mıso, sck pins of the microcontroller in CN7 with the help of jumpers.Bu't I dont know where my DCMI connection(CN4) and shutter, flash connection get interacted with nucle 144 board via using only jumpers. My aim is to get live view from the camera to control my output with buzzer or something else. All connecitons I checked from the internet are done with a display camare done with FFC Cable but ı am trying to connect the module to microcontroller via only using jumper cablesthanks
Bought NUCLEO-G071RB + X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2, created a project with ToughGFX Designer. After compiled the project without errors. But there is a "Launching STM32G071RB_NUCLEO_AZ2 Debug has encountered a problem. Error in final launch sequence:Failed to executed MI command: load ...Error message from debugger back end:load failed.What causes this issue?Jiannong
Hi all,I'm evaluating TouchGFX for my company and I cannot find a way to add an outline to texts or to add a Shadow to any object in TouchGFX Designer. Is this intended, or am I missing something?Thanks and Regards
I would appreciate any help
I wonder if we can make the attached graphics using touchgfx library.
I am trying to trigger a screen change from code. I have followed:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AaYMwM/how-to-implement-switchscreen-in-touchgfxandhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000BTdnsASQR/how-can-i-change-screen-in-softwareBoth Q&A threads are incomplete and I haven't been able to get either of them working on my own.I have my message queue passing messages from FreeRTOS across to touchGFX to notify of hardware button presses (no touch screen in this application). But the only way I have been able to trigger any screen changes is to define an an interaction in the Designer, then call it from the model using:static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoScreenNameNoTransition();I would prefer to not have to create "dummy" interactions in the designer which never get used. I want to create a goto for each of my screens, then call them from my model based on state changes in the system. I would appreciate any help you can offe
Hello everyone,I published a thread a while ago about MCUs with integrated display drivers, and it turns out that I am interested in using the STM32L4P5RET6 MCU in a project, but I would like to know what features the touch screen that I should choose should have?I was checking the pins and I can't find an identification compatible with the standard names of the pins of a TFT LCD touch screen, and I'm a little confused, what am I missing?Could you help me to know what characteristics the screen should have and if you can recommend me some models maybe, because I want to use the TouchGFX software to reduce the design time, I hope you can help me.Thank you
..
if i will change this codition to "off" state during program excuation it will change to "off" .but when i change screen to another screen the position is came to starting point "on".how i solve this ?
Hi,I am currently working in a project with TouchGFX. I am using STM32H757 evaluation board. I created a simple GUI to learn the basics of TouchGFX, when i debug the code after generating the code in TouchGFX designer there is no problem i can see the gui on the screen. However, when i add a functionality (GPIO and USART) in the CubeMX screen and generate the code, debug process is slowed down (it takes around 2-3 minutes) and code enters hard fault at MX_TouchGFX_Init.I stepped over each line and found that code enters hard fault at setLanguage function inside the Texts.cpp. Exactly the following line causes a hard fault. I didn't change any settings in the CubeMX screen (same settings for LTDC, TouchGFX and FreeRTOS), just added a GPIO function.If anyone can help me how to solve this issue i would appreciate it. I am a beginner at TouchGFX, so any guideline would be really helpful to me.currentLanguageTypedText = typedTextDatabaseArray[id];
I am working with stm32F429iit6 and I am trying to interfacing LCD ldtc with 24bit display but when I tried i just get a white screen backlight on display, i go through different articles and procedures but getting same result.please help me with same.
I am currently using Pn532 nfc SPI and lvgl for the display in STM32F469. I am using freertos to run both pn532 and lvgl display at the same time. But i have problem where i am using HAL_LTDC_Init(), the nfc wont read the card. Can someone help me about this pls? or any suggestions will much helpful. thank you
I state that I have already seen this problem within the community, but I was unable to solve my problem.I'm reading the TouchGFX Documentation to be able to develop an application: I followed the instructions in "Code Structure" with the simple example provided.If I go to simulation, everything is ok.If instead I try to execute "Run Target", I am returned:compilemake -f target/gcc/Makefile -j8make: target/gcc/Makefile: No such file or directorymake: *** No rule to make target 'target/gcc/Makefile'. Stop.Failed Checking in "Config" of the TouchGFX Designer, I noticed that the lines "Compile Target Command" and "Flash Target Command" are not compiled.I entered "make -f target/gcc/Makefile -j8" and "make -f target/gcc/Makefile -j10 flash" respectively.The result doesn't change.I also noticed that while the gcc folder is present in the "simulator" folder, it is not present in the "target" folder.How can I solve the problem? What does it depend on?Thank you in advance.Alberto
Hello,I’m trying to understand some issues we have with the slide transition. The slide transition uses the snapshot widget functions to copy the "old" screen to the animation storage to combine this screen with the incoming screen.Here is the code:SlideTransition(const uint8_t transitionSteps = 20) : Transition(), snapshot(), snapshotPtr(&snapshot), handleTickCallback(this, &SlideTransition::tickMoveDrawable), animationSteps(transitionSteps), animationCounter(0), calculatedValue(0) { if (HAL::USE_ANIMATION_STORAGE) { snapshot.setPosition(0, 0, HAL::DISPLAY_WIDTH, HAL::DISPLAY_HEIGHT); snapshot.makeSnapshot(); ... } ... }So far so good. When I use the snapshot functionalities with a "single framebuffer strategy" in CubeMx and an additional animation storage, the "old" screen consists of just random pixels during the sliding process, see image. The pixel data on the screen is the same as the pixel data in the animation storage. When I use a double buffe
In TouchGFX 4.20 designer my pages mostly have default 7200 canvas buffer size but some pages default canvas buffer size seems 0 like below;If I do not add a canvas size to these pages manually, this causes errors. Why does this happen on some pages and not on others?Thanks.
void Screen2View::up1(){ if (buttonWithIcon1.getPressedState()==true) HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_6,GPIO_PIN_RESET); else HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_6,GPIO_PIN_SET);}what is wrong, thans for help
Hello everyone.I have a custom board based on micro STM32F469NIH6I am using TouchGfx successfully and have all my images stored in a memory mapped 64MB QUADSPI.I would like to give the user the possibility to change some images (for example a logo) and I would like to store these images in an SDCARD.It's possible to do it?That is, is it possible to have the QUADSPI as ExtFlashSection and at the same time have only a few images on the SDCARD?For speed reasons I already use the bitmap cache.How can I load the bitmap stored in SDCARD, in my cache and in what format should the bitmap stored in SDCARD be?Thanks in advance to all who will help me.
Hello everyone,I am interested to know if TouchGFX supports GC9A01A or if I would need to build my own driver for the same.
I'm working on my first TouchGFX app on an STM32F746G-DISCOVERY board.The app builds, loads and runs fine using STm32CubeIDE. I can test my app and all looks good.However if I power-down and back up, the UI loads on the screen, but nothing is working. It does not respond to any touches.Am I missing something?
