Hi! I've seen some tutorials on can communication and notice that each of them use different StdId's. I'm using two nucle-l433rc-p boards, do I need a specific StdId or will any number between  0 and 0x7FF suffice?

Hi, I have bought the parts STM8L151F3U6TR. The marking indicated in datasheet is L526. However, marking on component is L536. Anyone can confirm this marking of L536 is correct?

Hi,uC: STM32G051K8U6, IDE: 1.14.1, MX: 6.10.0-RC9I tried to generate some low frequency timeout using the LPTIM1 and the internal LSI time source, but it seems the code generator doesn't take in account the chosen option in the "LPTIM1 Clock Mux" selector. It seems it always choses the first option, whick is PCLK. I confirmed this, generating the code with different options selected and comparing then using WinMerge. Nothing in the code changed. After some searching, I found this function was responsible for initialising the clock source:void HAL_LPTIM_MspInit(LPTIM_HandleTypeDef* hlptim) { RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0}; if(hlptim->Instance==LPTIM1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN LPTIM1_MspInit 0 */ /* USER CODE END LPTIM1_MspInit 0 */ /** Initializes the peripherals clocks */ PeriphClkInit.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_LPTIM1; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInit) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /* Peripheral clock enable */

Is there any chance to use both OCTOSPI (as 2xQSPI) with a LQFP100 package? There is a OCTOSPIM_P2_NCS but no OCTOSPIM_P2_CLK and Multiplexed Mode is not possible (only on P/Q-variants). Thanks in advance!

Hi all,i am performing some 400bytes blocks transferts by SPI, at 16Mhz.I have NSS off, so no CS up/down between frames. From some testing, whatever system clock i set, or whatever spi clock i set, there is a fixed 4us time between 2 consecutive frames. This pause is of course very visible and heavy at 20Mhz spi clock, by scope something like:__||||||||_____________||||||||______________|||||||_____Transfer is done by LL_SPI_TransmitData8If any help to reduce this delay between frames, would be very good, or at least to know i cannot reduce it in any way will be helpful too.thanks a lot

Hi,I'm working on download an ".elf" file on MCU without using the CUBE Programmer Application.I need to start the "STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe" from any folder path, other then the default:C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\binI don't want to move on the work directory the entire "...\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer"  that is 750 MB (in this way it works).I already tried with the only "bin" folder, but it does not work.Anybody know what files and folders are strictly necessary to do this?Thank you.

Hi,When I get the data returned by VL53L4CX, I have two problems.1:About"VL53LX_get_device_results()"The API function "VL53LX_get_device_results()" takes a lot of time. My MCU is 32MHZ and the operation of this function takes me 13ms. Is this time acceptable?2:About"vl53lx_tuningparm_reset_merge_threshold"When the distance of the measured object changes, the data obtained by the L4CX is delayed for a few cycles before the new distance is obtained. There are several cycles of error reporting (ErrorCode: sometimes 7,sometimes 255) or old distance before getting the new data. Looking in the manual, it seems that this can be improved by decreasing the"vl53lx_tuningparm_reset_merge_threshold", but even if I change it to 0, it doesn't change anything, am I using it wrong? Thanks.

Hi,I need help to identify a 512 Kbit serial I²C bus EEPROM from the M24512 series.I have two differents parts which appear identical, apart from one letter at the end of the reference : M24512-WG for the first one and M24512-WP for the second (photos attached).Could some tell me what is the difference beetween the two parts ?Thanks.

STM32H573AII3Q is a 169 pin UFBGA SMPS package. Along with SMPS option, does it also have internal LDO for core supply? Can we use internal LDO to supply core voltage for this package?

Hello,I'm currently working with the STM32h573I-DK Board and I'm interested in installing SFI (Secure Firmware Installation) and learning how to work with it. Could you please provide guidance on how to install SFI and any resources such as tutorial videos that could help me get started?Thank you!

Hi,mcsdk: 6.2.1control board: nucleo-g474reBridge: XNUCLEO-IHM09M2Power Board: STEVAL-CTM009V1Motor: Motenergy ME1304 I prepared motor profile for ME1306 with help of EVSPIN32G4 and used in configuration, described above. But now I get Startup failure on every start. The shaft does not rotate but trembles only. Can I get any advice how to debug the issue?Appreciate in advance.

Hello,When I right click on a pin, in the Pinout view of an IOC file, it shows the following:I understand the ADC1_INP3, since that is the intended setting.  But what would the yellow ADC2_INP3, with a + next to it, signify?  Likewise, what is the reason for the green highlighted GPIO_Analog? Here is another example:What is the purpose of the 4 "+" signs?, some with color shading and some without.  I assume selection of both ADC2_INP19 and DAC1_OUT2, means PA5 is routed to both?Regards,Robert

After about an month, I connected my NUCLEO-L4A6ZG to my PC again. STM32CubeIDE nor the STM32CubeProgrammer can't recognize my board. I already tried different USB ports and different USB cables. When Trying to run a program the Error Message in the IDE is "No ST-Link detected! Please connect ST-Link and restart the debug session." and in the Programmer "Error: No debug probe detected". My board is powered on but seemingly not recognized. The red LED is constantly blinking (red-off-red-off-...). The green LED is constantly green. In case it required, my OS is Linux Mint (switched it from Fedora within the month i haven't used the board).I am an absolute noob, with almost no knowledge when it comes to the topic. I don't know what I can do to fix it and ask for help.

I want to understand the Timeout parameter of the HAL_SPI_Transmit, HAL_SPI_Receive and HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive function.

Hallo, how to determine the file presents in a folder with filex? What function is available?

I cant make work the HRTIM. I am using the weact board.I tried HRTIM-A and TRTIM-D using the cubeide (latest updated). the first one using "basic HAL" and the second using "Advanced Hal" instructionsTIM5 works so it seems that clock is working.I added following code to make run the timers and the debugger passed them without trouble: MX_HRTIM_Init(); if( HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputStart(&hhrtim, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TD1)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputStart(&hhrtim, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TD2)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_HRTIM_WaveformCountStart_IT(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERID_TIMER_D)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_HRTIM_WaveformCounterStart(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERID_TIMER_D)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if ( HAL_HRTIM_WaveformSetOutputLevel(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_D, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TD1, HRTIM_OUTPUTLEVEL_ACTIVE)!=HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if ( HAL_HRTIM_WaveformSetOutputLevel(&hhrtim, HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_T

Hi everyone!I use RTC with STM32CubeIDE for my STM32. Just a question: is it possible to set the alarm day over several days so that the alarm wakes up every Monday AND Friday?Thank you !

I have an STM32G071CBTx with a rotary encoder wired to GPIO pins PB5 + PB7 (LPTIM1_IN1 and LPTIM1_IN2), but for some reason it will never count down no matter which way the encoder is turned.I have checked the encoder waveforms and they are as expected, and it's not just "rattling" with one input stuck low or high as I can make the counter run through the full count range by turning the encoder.Initialisation code (LL) looks like this:void MX_LPTIM1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN LPTIM1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END LPTIM1_Init 0 */ LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; LL_RCC_SetLPTIMClockSource(LL_RCC_LPTIM1_CLKSOURCE_PCLK1); /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_LPTIM1); LL_IOP_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_IOP_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB); /**LPTIM1 GPIO Configuration PB5 ------> LPTIM1_IN1 PB7 ------> LPTIM1_IN2 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = ENC1_As_Pin; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = LL_GPIO_SPEED_F

Hello, i installed STM32 CubeMX 6.2.9 today. I tried to add software packages by clicking "help" -> "Manage embedded software packages", but nothing happens. Then i tried to log in using "myST" -> "Login", but again nothing happens and i can not log in. I tried using ALT U and ALT L but it did not work.I attached the log file of STM32CubeMXThanks,Marisa

Hello to all, Our design is using STM32F042G6 MCU to implement STSW-STM32011 firmware interface based on STM32Cube which implements ISO7816 protocol for us to talk to smart card. Unfortunately it does not seem to move beyond ATR.Is our MCU we use not good enough to support this FW, can it support only T=0 without T=1? If not good enough, what is the minimal MCU that would support the above FW or similar for ISO7816 over USART?Thanks for your help, Peter

0Hi I am trying to write a c/c++ application which will excercise the Tx and Rx pins of the can interfaces (can0 and can1) available in the STM32MP157CAA.Approach One I wrote an application which opens a socket on can0 and then writes into the Tx of can0 receive the same bytes on the Rx of can0. And same for the can1. I followed the loopback mechanism described in the below ST wiki: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_send_or_receive_CAN_data#Hardware_self-testThis works. But it turns out that the above loopback happens internally and doesn't actually send the packet through the Tx pin.Approach Two Now, I am thinking if I can physically connect the Tx of can0 with the Rx of can1 using a female to female connector, and then open two separate sockets for can0 and can1, write on the Tx of can0 and then try receiving on the Rx of can1 - should that work? I have given it a quick try but doesn't seem to be working.I am not sure technically if this approach is even valid.

We start developing our project using NUCLEO-L476RG with NUCLEO-NFC08A1 using NFC08A1_PollingTagDetectNDEF application. We develop a board with ST25R3916B and a microcontroller with FreeRTOS.We import the RFAL library and BSP component st25r3916_xxx.c, we don't import NDEF layer. We make on our board a task with void demoCycle( void ) cloned from demo_polling.c,plus all the function take from the example application. We made all the rfal_platform MACRO conversion. The board work well with different card and TAG and also in P2P connection with NUCLEO-L476RG with NUCLEO-NFC08A1.If we try to connect in P2P mode 2 of our board the connection doesn't start.With NUCLEO-L476RG either the board entered in demoCycle case switch:case RFAL_NFC_LISTEN_TYPE_AP2P:case RFAL_NFC_POLL_TYPE_AP2P:platformLog("NFC Active P2P device found.
