Hi developers,   I'm new to STM32 MCU, but recently need to use it for a automotive Ethernet board design. The ethernet PHY I am going to use supports the jumbo frame up to 16kByte. Do anyone happen to know if STM32F407VGT6 can also support this jumbo frame feature or only for standard 1518Byte eth frame?   (if not, ss there any MCU from ST suggestion that support this jumbo frame feature.    Thanks!!!

Hi,While using the STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1 repository to explore secure boot on the STM32H5, I saw that the configuration file to generate OEMiRoT_Data.obk is missing. As I want to use my own keys and certificates for the OEMiRoT example application, I think I should regenerate the OEMiRoT_Data.obk file, but I can't find how to do this.Am i missing something, or is the OEMiRoT_Data.xml file missing from the repository?Best,Jens

I'm trying to read and write SPI bytes from an STM32F446RE chip with DMA.  The STM32f4 is the slave and a RPi is the master.  The first SPI read works fine (data read into buffer starting at index 0), but subsequent reads have the data starting at index 1 instead of index 0.  I tried resetting the SPI peripheral with this bit of code I found on the forums: #define RESETSPI {\ HAL_SPI_Abort(&hspi2);\ __HAL_RCC_SPI2_FORCE_RESET();\ __HAL_RCC_SPI2_RELEASE_RESET();\ }  This fixes the reading off by 1, but it results in the last byte sent back to the PI to be wrong. Does anyone know what might be happening or how I might address it?

Hi!I use the RTC of a STM32G030K6T. It is clocked by LSI (appr. 32kHz). And PREDIV_A is 0x0 and PREDIV_S is 0x7FFF. So I expect that RTC_SSR overflows every 1.024sec...But: It overflows every 0.687sec... As if the LSI frequency would be 47712Hz...I mentioned this after I soldered the positive contact of a LiFePO4 battery... Now I cannot easily disconnect power... Triggering the reset pin does not change the fast RTC... A software reset does not help, too...How could I possibly damage the LSI by making a solder joint at the other side of the board? I even have a voltage clamp at 3.5V and a LDO (3.0V) between that solder joint and the STM32G030.Or is it more likely that I made some last minute firmware changes? What could that be?Thx.Bye.

Hello Community, I have been working in an app that has 2 different lenguages defined in the "Texts" option in TouchGFX. In the Canvans i have for example a textArea that is configured as "Auto-size" with typography "Large, 40px" and centered alignment, this text is in english "Select a Cycle" and in spanish is "Seleccione un Ciclo". As there is the option to "Auto-size" the textbox, is there an option or a way to use instead an auto typography to adjust to the textbox? saying that both my text fit in the same TextBox, one with "Large, 40px" and the other with "Default, 25px". Hope to hear from you soon :) Greetings!

Hii! I'm trying to implement a tensorflow ML model in NUCLEOF401RE Board using XCube.AI and stm32CubeMX. when i download the XCube.AI package and try to add the zipper file in CubeMX im facing an error that "file cannot be deflated". how to solve this error. The zipper file is installed in proper location ""C:\Users\Lakshana\STM32Cube\Repository\Packs\STMicroelectronics\X-CUBE-AI\8.1.0\stm32ai-windows-8.1.0.zip" please help me resolve this error

Hi I m using SPI DMA on H7 series, and notice under SPIx_TX and SPIx_RX there are at least 14 DMA channels to choose from, i.e DMA1 Stream 0-7 and DMA2 0-7. Can i select these "channel"  randomly or is there a reference manual that state otherwise? Likewise i saw the same case in USART DMA too, anyone can advise?

Hello!I'm using the STM32WL55CCU6 in a design and have a question:TCXO: I'm using a TCXO connected according to the datasheet. If I select TCXO in CubeIDE I have to use PB01 as TCXO-VDD. My plan was to use PB01 as GPIO. Is that possible? How? -> If i change the Pin to GPIO, it deselects the TCXO in the clock config.(TCXO is connected to the on-board-power-supply) best regardsRobert

Hello, I have a question on the value of nfc_n<1:0> of the Auxiliary definition register. The following tables talk about the field value, could you please explain further what is the meaningof the value 512 in Table 14?Is my interpretation as shown below correct? When fc = 13.56MHz, 1 unit of T_RFW = 512 / fc = 37.76usIf n = 1, Total RF waiting time = 37.76usif n = 2, Total RF waiting time = 2 x 37.76usif n = 3, Total RF waiting time = 3 x 37.76usif my interpretaion is correct, what happen when  n = 0, can n be set = 0 before NFC field on? Thanks! BR,ctee

Is STM32F446MEY6MTR of MIL grade microcontroller? Is any variant of STM32F446xx have MIL 464/461 or MIL810G standard?

I used STM32H563 transmit a message through I3C CCC direct.I create a new CCC command "0xA0".Control send the command to target. But target will enter HAL_I3C_ER_IRQHandlerUesd the general command "0x89".The target can receive this command. The Buffer is same.

Hi,everyone! I want to know if FDCAN ( I'm using STM32H7) has lost the automatic Bus-off Recovery mechanism. Looking Forward to get your reply. Thanks!

So, I want to modify provisioning.bat and/or XML files to create an SFI that contains our developed non-secure app instead of default one, Secure Manager, and the various (especially DA one) OBKs.This will then be downloaded into factory-fresh (only STiRoT and STuRoT installed) STM32H573-based custom boards via ST-Link/V3.Note: at the end should be in CLOSED product stateOur project dir is a little different from the SMAK directory layout: <project_root_dir> Binaryappli.binappli_enc_sign.binappli_enc_sign.hexROT_Provisioning    (basically copied from SMAK)DASMSTiROT

Hi, I want to use my stm32mp157c-dk2 board with capacitive touchscreen display(7inch HDMI LCD (B)), image that I installed for stm32mp1 board is Distribution Package st-example-image-qt (DISTRO=openstlinux-eglfs MACHINE=stm32mp1-disco source layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.sh) 7inch HDMI LCD(B)I think I need to modify device tree and kernel configuration but I dont know which drivers do I need, could you help me?

I have a new "Nx_MQTT_Client" sample application that I had set up and working on the B-U585 board. I tried it on another board I had, and it said I needed to update the WiFi BIOS. It had previously been updated to v2.11.1.I got the latest download, and updated to v2.3.4. The example's readme.md says it was made for V2.3.4.It validates correctly. Now when I run the application on the board it hangs up at method App_Main_Thread_Entry and the command dns_create(&DnsClient). Serial monitor eventually gives me "Error: command 0x0003 timeout(10000 ms) waiting answer 1" and it never connects.Updating the WiFi on the first board, and that no longer connects.I just created a new Nx_MQTT_Client example, set my SSID and password, and I get the same results with both boards. Using v2.11.1 gives me the error for WiFi version. "Nx_Network_Basics" gives the same timeout error, along with "ERROR: Cannot connect WiFi interface!"Any ideas?

I'm trying to debug something at the assembly level (mostly compiled from mix of C).  Once I get to a point in my C code I then jump to some memory address where other code is loaded.  With a breakpoint there I want to open up the disassembly view and step in that instead. But in that view F5 or F6 both say they cannot find the function (which is unsurprising as this is the startup code of a new program). Is there anyway to step at the assembly level? Also, in a disassembly view sometimes entering a new hex location to disassemble just does nothing (source sync etc. are turned off)

I am trying to simulate a 220VAC/24VDC 240W converter. According to eDesignSuite BOM, there is a Shunt Voltage Reference Diode which is called as SHUNT (Reference 1.24V). But when i checked the schematic diagram, i cannot find this diode. Am i missing something? Can anybody explain this Shunt Voltage Reference Diode which is called as SHUNT? My project is given in the attachment.Thanks.

Hi. I have seen several tutorials and read in the forum how to include a library. But it does not work. Can someone help me please.

i am working in a project on stm32u5a9j-dk board. i am fetching temperature value from inbuilt temperature sensor using ADC channel. I am getting the value in 4 digit int. i want to know to know how to transfer that value into *celcius. And one more thing how to implement this thing using i2c.

Hi I need to flash via CAN bus and I understood it is possible using SPC5-FLASHER on PC connected to the target via USB/CAN interface with SPC5_UPDATER_CONN=SPC5_UPDATER_CONN_CAN. But I need also to flash a target from another target with SP57xx so I would like to have the source code of SPC5-FLASHER crosscompiled for my target .. Is that possible?ThanksFabio

Hi all, just found an error preventing the adc from working properly when the driver is generated by STM32Cube FW_G4 V1.5.2 (and 1.5.1).there are some missing lines like this one:sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_2; you can compare my 2 attached files to see for yourself.kind regards,Yves

I am a bit confused by the documentation on oversampling and the required trigger rate.  I'd like to do 2 conversions a second on 5 channels using 256x oversampling.  I have the ADC in continuous mode. I am triggering off TIM3 update.  It's not clear to me if I trigger once every half second to get all 256 conversions on all 5 channels or if I have to trigger 256 times each half second.  If there is only one trigger, does the first channel get sampled 256 times and then the second 256 time until the fifth channel? Thanks.

Hello, I want to use the SensorTile.box to collect IMU data over BLE. I tried modifying the BLESensors source code to suit my requirements (by increasing the characteristic size etc.). But the ST BLE Sensor app doesn't seem to support this. I only receive one sample at a time. Is there any way to do this? Code Snippet 1: #define BUFFER_SIZE ( 32 ) if (InertialFeaturesEnabled.AccIsEnable == 1U) { for(int i = 0; i < BUFFER_SIZE; i++) { STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Acc[i].Axis_x)); BuffPos += 2U; STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Acc[i].Axis_y)); BuffPos += 2U; STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Acc[i].Axis_z)); BuffPos += 2U; } } if (InertialFeaturesEnabled.GyroIsEnable == 1U) { for(int i = 0; i < BUFFER_SIZE; i++) { STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Gyro[i].Axis_x)); BuffPos += 2U; STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Gyro[i].Axis_y)); BuffPos += 2U; STORE_LE_16(buff + BuffPos, ((uint16_t)Gyro[i].Axis_z)); BuffPos += 2U; } } ret

Hello,I have been following the tutorial STM32CubeMX Application Conception for making a custom BLE server with my P-Nucleo-WB55. I am using version 6.9.2 of STM32CubeMX. Everything works until section 7, where server notifications and write management with GPIO are configured. The tutorial uses BUTTON_SW1_PIN and LED_BLUE macros, which do not seem to exist. The tutorial also uses BSP_LED_ON() and BSP_LED_OFF(), which I cannot find declarations for. What should I do?Perhaps this is a silly issue with a quick fix, but I am concerned that STM32CubeMX is changing the structure and organization of their code generator. If this is the case, would you suggest rolling back to the 6.4.0 version (which the tutorial has success using) of the STM32CubeMX and sticking with that same version for development? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
