Hi all,   I used the same setting and the same software, keil uVision5. The only different is use my own board rather than EVB, STM32F769I-EVAL. BTW, I use my own board and STM32 ST-Link utility. Sometimes I can successfully go to debug mode, but sometimes I can't.   My question is why keil uVision5 shows 'Error: Flash Download failed - ''Cortex-M7'''.   I had erased first then rebuild finished, the next step is starting debug session. Unlucky, it shows error.   May need your support on this issue, thank you.

We are developing a BLE device based on a STM32WB5MM. The device acts as a server and has configured the connection with bonding (and a passkey).We have a problem connecting to the device when several devices of the same type coexist in the same place (about 3/4 devices in an area of 5 meters radius). It is difficult to start the connection, in the order of minutes (sometimes it is not even possible to start the connection). However, once the connection is established (because we move away from the area) it remains stable (even if we return to the area with more devices).Any idea why this might be? All devices have the same name. This is the only thing that comes to mind. Can this cause a problem at the time of authentication (bonding)? We have noticed that if a mobile device (which is our client) has a paired device, it cannot connect/pair to another one until the information of the previous device has been deleted on the mobile. If so, just modifying the name of the advertising is en

I woulke to know the dead time of VL53L8CH to know the max value of one bin, but there is no information in the datasheet. Besides, currently I am using  the example in VL53LMZ_MassMarket_ULD of cubeide to get the histogram, I want to know if the number of the bin represent the number of the photons or does it need to multiply with some special scale value?

I tried using the sleep mode in STM32L053R8, it gets stuck in this condition. what is the reason. if((ulpbit != 0) && (vrefinbit != 0)){SET_BIT(PWR->CR, PWR_CR_ULP);}

I have designed a custom board based on a STM32WB35CE and want to use TouchGFX with it.I have enabled the TouchGFX Middleware in STM32CubeMX:and used the resulting ApplicationTemplate.touchgfx.part file to create a blank user interface with TouchGFX Designer and generated code.When building the code the linker throws the following error message:C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.13.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.0.100.202403111256/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -l:libtouchgfx-float-abi-hard.a: No such file or directoryThis "path" is added to the project's library paths when generating code with TouchGFX Designer. Hello, I am a beginner in STM32 and Touchgfx. I am having a touchgfx application which has multiple screens. The main screen in touchgfx should update the live data received from Uart Rx. When a button in main screen is clicked, it should navigate to other screens. I am using an interrupt callback to receive the Uart data. The problem I am facing right now is, the Uart Rx is working fine through interrupt callback, and the data is being updated in mainscreen. But when the button is clicked, nothing happens. I suspect it's due to interrupt is being serviced often. Unfortunately my Uart DMA receive doesn't work and I am able to receive data only through interrupt callback. Can someone Hed some light on my issue?   Thanks and Regards

Hello, I have a custom borad with a STM32F746BGTX and I use GFX Touch 4.20. I would like to have a bootloader and an application on the STM32F746BGTX. I have different images in gfx Touch for the bootloader and the application. The bootloader is stored in flash memory: 0x0800 0000 - 0x0803 FFFF The application is saved in flash memory: 0x0804 0000 - 0x080F FFFF I use an external Quad SPI Flash Memory (W25Q128FVSQ). I divided the RAM into 2 areas again. The bootloader gets 3MBytes (from 0x90000000 to 0x902EE000) The application gets 13MByte (from 0x902EE000 to 0x90FFFFFF). I want to jump from the bootloader into the application. The process: 1. Jump from Boorloader into the application. A value is written into RAM. 2. The function is called: NVIC_SystemReset() 3. In Main() I check whether a value is stored in RAM. If there is a value in the RAM, I jump into my application This process works perfectly and the application is also started. An error then occurs in HAL_Init(). In debug

HI,I'm a beginner. I should set up some STEVAL-MIC007V1 MEMS microphones. I have Nucleo-F401RE and X-Nucleo-AMICAM1. I have already downloaded the X-CUBE-MEMSMIC1 software package.Is it sufficient to install the UltrasoundFFT.exe executable or is it necessary to download additional software to use MEMS microphones?Thank you

Hi guys,I'm executing the "printf" in CubeIDE to output uint64_t with "%llu", but the printout is wrong.Why does it not support "%llu"?However it can work well in Keil. //debug.c int __io_putchar(int ch) //Redirect printf to uart { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, 0xFFFF); return (ch); } //main.c int main() { //*** printf("%llu\r\n", (uint64_t)1 ); //Hope to output "1", but output "lu" }

Appreciate pointer to information.  New to these.  To power the STM32WL5EJC, we need to make a custom board incorporating the charging and protection circuit since 30mAh Li ion cell does not have build-in protection board.Appreciate circuit diagram, for or similar to, the popular Li ion cell charging board using TP4056 and protection chip DW01A.  Presumably, circuit need to auto switch cell in and out of circuit so the charger chip will end charging at 10% of current (3mA for 30mAh cell) going into the cell and not counting current feeding the STM32WLE5JC (6mA radio receive, 30mA radio transmit).We plan to use MCP1700, Linear LDO, to take Li ion cell 4.2V to 3.0V for STM32WLE5JC.   Many thanks

Hi,I'd like to have a 2kHz clock source on PC9, I was wondering if I can use TIM3_CH4 or TIM8_CH4 to do it. May you please help me to figure out it? My question is how to generate a 2 kHz clock on PC9 if I would like to use TIM3_CH4 or TIM8_CH4? However, I can generate a clock with MCO2 function on PC9. I use the commend below, and I can get 5MHz clock if I used MCO2 on PC9.   RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE;  RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 25;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLN = 432;    RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLP = RCC_PLLP_DIV2;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLQ = 9;  RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLR = 7;HAL_RCC_MCOConfig(RCC_MCO2, RCC_MCO2SOURCE_HSE, RCC_MCODIV_5);  Hope I can get the answer here, thank you.

I would like to know where the configuration set in STVP is stored.I'd like to set the configuration automatically, but I don't know where the default storage address is.

Hey Everyone,  I am having an issue with the stm32h755 dual debugging. Im trying to run cm4 by itself without cm7. But the issue im having is, whenever I reset the MCU and check the SPI lines, I see a clock running. When I debug just cm4, I do not see the SPI clock at all. As if my Cm4 is not running on its own properly.  Is there a way I can debug just the cm4 inside the stm32h755? I did follow guides online, I have halt all cores unchecked, I setup the flashing correctly as well.

Good morningI am a newbie about MCUs.I would like to begin with a STM32F446xC/E MCU and a led blinking small project.So, I need some help with basic topics.-Can I put the STM32F446xC/E on a breadboard?-Can I program the STM32F446xC/E with a Nucleo development board?Thanks to anyone willing to help.

I installed STM32CubeIDE 1.13.2 in the hope that the problem of the 1.13.1 release has been solved (see My old topic ) . Nothing the problem continues to exist. To make the integrated CubeMX work I have to open and close the IDE 3 or 4 times, also if it doesn't start I have to delete the home/user/workspace_1.13.2/.metadata directory. (for my system config see My old topic )Thanks for your help.Ferdinando

Hello,   I bought two EVLSPIN32G4-ACT motor control evaluation boards and tried to setup CAN-FD communication between them.   Then I came to know it doesn't have a CAN transceiver IC(U3) populated on board. Image attached for your reference.   Can anyone tell if someone faced the issue similar regarding this. ST Team please provide help and support through the hardware and CAN-FD functionality with this evaluation board.   Regards Yash B

Cant program STM32G031J4 with stm32CubeProgrammer 2.16.0 (bootloader 3.1). It display default flash size of 63Kb and all command have errors ( erase/read/write.....).

Good day I am sending a CAN message from a STM32F042. The first two bytes are the value read from an ADC split into 2 bytes. Then just for testing I set 4 bytes to "F042" which is then a fixed value that i know its sending what I ask. The problem I have is no matter how i format the ADC value its never correct on the CAN BUS even though my RxData that i pass to can shows it is correct. Any value that I put into RxData that is fixed such as the F042 is always correct. I believe based on on the fact that I can fill all 8 bytes with fixed data like F042 and it always transmits as recieves correctly that my harware is good (My harness, a twisted pair cable with 120ohm termination, and both boards), for me that means it must be something in code of the F042 is going wrong. This is the section of code described above ADC_Select_CH4(); HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc, HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc); temp = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc); remainder100

- STM32G071R8T6, DMA chan 1 ADC's, DMA chan 2 SPI TX, DMA chan 3 SPI RX and DMA chan 4 DAC- Tested the SPI configuration without the DMA to a SPI EEPROM and it works.    Once the DMA configuration was used, we do not see any data being transmitted.     The initial DMA based communication to the EEPROM is a read command, address and then 0x55 data so that we clock the EEPROMs response back. The Chip Select to the EEPROM is done manually. Because the initial testing done wrote directly to the SPI registers, it seems like something in the configuration of DMA to SPI is not correct. We have used the STM32Cube Repository version STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.1 for Low Level examples but the DMA and SPI are not tired together for the G071(they have HAL based.)- If we remove the call to LL_DMAMUX_SetRequestID(), which is needed because the G071 has a DMA mux, we will receive a DMA1_Channel2_3_IRQHandler interrupt after the TX DMA is triggered. There is still no data

About the board NUCLEO F446REIs it possie, with that board, and for learning purpose, to drive external devices such servomotors?If so, how are they connected to the board?Thanks

I'm planning a new device and wish to use an STM32U5 series processor.We would like to reuse an existing display.  However, this has a QSPI interface (at 50MHz).Is it possible to use one of the Octal-SPI interfaces on the STM32U5 series for driving a display?  I could not find any documentation explicitly discussing this.Specifically I was looking at the STM32U585Thanks!
