Hello everyone,I am working with the STM32H7B3 and after enabling the secure user memory, i am not able to connect with the debugger anymore:For testing if secure user memory works, i put a "secure_function" in a section at the end of my flash, then enabled the secure user memory for that section and called the function from the unsecure area (which should result to a bus fault). The questions are:1. What did i wrong?2. Why can i not connect to the board which the jlink debugger? I didn't change any option byte except the security OB.Also i don't thing that the program got stuck in the secure area, because the unsecure area should run first after reset (see code below). Console output: Here is the code i used to configure the secure user memory:    void __attribute__((__section__(".secureareatest"))) secure_function(){ count++; } bool setSecureUserMemoryProtection(FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef& flash_option_bytes) { const uint32_t secure_area_start =

I looked at the routine of SPC582B60E1! In the routine, pressing a button can use the callback function that interrupts the button to light up the LED light, but I have a question: how can I turn off the already lit LED light when I release the button? Can you give me some ideas or routines? I want to learn them! This is very important to me, thank you all big shots!

I can't find an answer to this but, let's say I've an image as texture map of 4x4 pixels located at coordinate (0,0) so getX() and getY() return 0 and 0If I resize it with setScale(0.5f) so half the size, the getX() and getY() return the same value 0,0 or TouchGFX try to center the image and it returns (1,1)What about getWidth() and getHeight() value after the setScale(). Do I get 2 and 2 or it always return 4 and the setScale() is just a virtual function for the visualization?

I want to debug my SPC563M64 board in SPC5studio. What should I do? I will go there to obtain support files for boards like SPC58NG 1>C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\openocd\scripts\board\spc58NG_dis.cfg2>C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\openocd\scripts\target\spc58ng.cfg3>C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\openocd\scripts\target\spc58.cfg where can I get these files for  SPC563M64 board just like the above files for  SPC58NG board!!!

How to put elements in list to the west? I set list direction WEST but it does not working.I found out that its not supported Maybe there is another way to put elements from east to west?

Hi community members !!I’m attempting to open my touchgfx file (.touchgfx file) from the ST32Cube IDE, but I’m running into an error that states, “Value cannot be null. (Parameter ‘path2’)”. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. This is the first time I’ve encountered this error in my project, despite having successfully added screens, components, generated code, and flashed it to the board in the past using touchgfx. Could anyone provide a potential solution?

I have a weird one. Using an STM32H723 Nucleo board. The MOSI line for SPI2 is giving me trouble. The edges are slow (see picture). All I am doing for this test is transmitting on SPI2 with nothing attached but the scope. I am using STM32CubeIDE and the MX config tool. What could be causing this?

Hi everyone ! I have a curiosity and I ask you all how to interpret ...The behavior of the ADC_ISR_EOC bit during debugging is unclear, it is reset and I don't understand why. Code :// TimerSecurity is a security timer that runs every 1 msec1) TimerSecurity = 10;2) ADC1->CR |= ADC_CR_ADSTART;3) while ((ADC1->ISR & ADC_ISR_EOC) == 0) {4) if(TimerSecurity == 0)5) breaks;6) }7)8) ADC1->CR |= ADC_CR_ADDIS;9) return ADC1->DR; While debugging... - Case 1I put a breakpoint on lines 1 and 9the debugger stops at line 2I start the F5 debuggerthe debugger stops at line 9the ADC_ISR_EOC bit seen in a watch window is LL1the TimerSecurity is still 10 - Case 2I put a breakpoint on lines 1 and 9the debugger stops at line 2I step over the F10 debuggerthe ADC_ISR_EOC bit seen in a watch window is LL1I start the F5 debuggerthe debugger stops at line 9the ADC_ISR_EOC bit seen in a watch window is LL0the TimerSecurity is 0 I hope I have been clear, I would like to understand who resets the

Hello everyone, Im working on a Program that i have written in a StateDiagram way. I have 3 buttons wired to my micro, with a strategy to avoid boucing.this a part of my program where if the button is PRESSED then we add 1 to the variable "Day". The problem is that because the while(1) loop is very quick, the incrementation is very fast. I have experienced to put a Delay after but this is not precise at all and a too short or to long press on the button would ruin it. SO, do you have a solution for me that even by pressing longly, the value of Day would not increment more than 1 time ? I hope ive made myself understandable, im wainting for your suggestion if(PbState[1] == PRESSED){Day++;}

I write four bytes of data to M95512, and after the writing is completed, I read these four bytes. I must delay the writing for more than 3 milliseconds to read the correct bytes. Delays less than 3 milliseconds will read 0XFF. Why is this? What does “Byte Write within 5 ms” mean？Does it take 5ms to write a byte? Looking forward to any suggestions and responses.

Hi,I'm developing a new project using the STM32H723; I have to decide between the STLINK-V3SET and the ST-LINK/V2, may you help me to understand the main differences ?If I choose the V3SET, do I need to add any additional module ? Thank you, best regards. Carlo

Hi,I am trying to power up my F767ZI board from the 3.3V power given by X-NUCLEO-LPM01A. Strangely, when I measure the voltage from X-NUCLEO-LPM01A with a multimeter (on the 3.3V input pins on the F767ZI board), I see the output voltage is only 1.6V to 1.7V (or about1.2V if I pull a wire from 3.3V input to SWD's RST signal to prevent STLINK from resetting my board[*]), despite that I had set it to 3.3V. The board does not start up as well. More observations:1) This only happens when I use X-NUCLEO-LPM01A as power source. When I used another DC power source, I could measure 3.3V on the board's 3.3V input pins just as I set it. The program on board also run normally.2) This only happens when I set X-NUCLEO-LPM01A's output voltage to 3V or 3.3V. When I tried setting it to 2.4V, I measured 2.4V on the board's input pins, and the program on board could run.3) This only happens when I use F767ZI. I have tried G0B1RE, L4R5ZI and U575ZI and all of those could work normally.Additional info

Hi,I am working on BLE with STM32W55RGV. I have loaded FUS+Full_BLE_stack into the M0+ core. In the M4 core, I have my own application, but I always get a HardFault when I call this function, as shown in the picture (SendCmd(uint16_t opcode, uint8_t plen, void *param)). It is basically first entry function to try to do anything with BLE. At that moment, opcode = 64535 and plen = 0. Could this be related to IPCC? I have enabled interrupts for both RX and TX, and I have also increased the BLE FreeRTOS stack to 1024.Alos I added breakpoint to APPE_SysUserEvtRx - to see if CPU2 is ready (was mentioned in  STM video tutorial for HeartRate monitor), but the function is not called..I have no idea how to move forward. Thanks!

I am using STM32CubeIDE v1.12.1 on macOS. I have noticed that, when I import a project generated with STM32Cube.AI Developer Cloud, whenever I open the IOC and make a change to the device configuration that requires to regenerate the code, the project becomes broken. I therefore did an experiment: I created a STM32 project under the IDE, then I enabled the X-CUBE-AI software package in the device configuration tool and I let the IDE generate the code. Apparently the IDE-generated code is missing the $PROJECT/Middlewares/ST/AI subdirectory with the X-CUBE-AI library and headers. I have the same effect with 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 versions of X-CUBE-AI. How do I work around this issue?Best,Pietro

Hello everyone.I have an application that is based on FreeRTOS and works in power saving mode with STOP3 mode. I have configured each WakeUp pin and all the necessary arrangements for the entrance and exit from low power mode. However, so far I've experienced big troubles at Wake Up: the microcontroller detects a hard fault in the FreeRTOS utilities (debugging from __get_PSP() I've got the Program Counter and Link Register related to the uxQueueMessagesWaiting function, every single time the fault is detected).I've tried everything: increasing the size of the stack to be allocated to the OS, being careful to be within the maximum size, re-initializing the system with SystemInit()... the microcontroller resets giving no more information than I shared. I attach the main features of the system in use:- Interrupt Vector Table relocated at: (0x20000000UL)- Boot loader at 0x08000000 which verifies program file integrity then jumps at it- Main application at 0x08026000The main applicatio

Hi,we have been migrating a project from STM32L031 to the new STM32U0 series (STM32U031K6).Unfortunately the SVD-File is not available. The CAD-Resources are empty:https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32u031k6.html#overview How can we get the file ? RegardsStephan W.

Currently I connected the X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 to F401RE, and I notice that on the web page of VL53L8CH, the sensor can get the data with 64 zones with 18 bins at 15 Hz. But when I use the VL53L8CH with the Example_12_cnh_data which use VL53LMZ_ULD_API, I found that when I set the cnh config to get the data with 64 resolution, 16 bins, and 15Hz, the fps I get from the serial port is only 3.6Hz, not 15Hz. Is there any way to improve the FPS of the code?

I am attempting to connect to one of ST's CR95HF NFC chips, but I can't get it to respond correctly to the echo command.1) Reset CR95HF by toggling the IRQ line2) Set chip select line low3) Send two bytes : 0x00 0x55 = Command Echo4) Set chip select line high5) Set chip select line low6) Send one byte : 0x03 to request response, waiting for bit 3 to be high7) Set chip select line high8) When bit 3 is high, set chip select line low and send one byte : 0x02 = Read data9) Instead of the expected 0x55, I Receive 0x0EI have checked all the timing diagrams, all timings appear to be ok.I have checked the signals on a scope and digital analyser, all are ok.Any suggestions ?

HiI saw that the CS and I2C enable are on the same pin and also the SPI and I2C CLK and data.Does it means that this component can not be with other SPI IC on the same line? (because when the CS is 1 while talking to other ICs it will be in I2C mode and will transmit junk to the bus)? if so, its intended use in SPI mode is to be single component on the bus?regarding Lis2MDL it has I2C_DIS (h62 bit 3). this is also not 100% clear to me. If I connect 2 ICs on same bus in the moment I will start to config the first IC to disable I2C the other will interfere because it CS will be on 1... please help me understand how can I do it? maybe the I2C_DIS bit is the default (it is missing in the datasheet)?please help me understand this issue.thanks

Hi, I'm working on a project and have a question for youFirst, ARC mode is said to increase the radius of X and Y axis of wireless charging by up to 50%.1. why is it CFG register, is the mode always active?2.the setting value is steps of 10mV and I wonder what is the relationship between this and ARC mode?3.GUI related question, how can I take memh files of CFG files and patch files and convert them to hex code and update them to firmware?I have implemented the firmware update, but I want to update it with data from files created in the GUI.

Hi everyone,Me again :)I'm working on an access control system project and would appreciate some assistance or advice. My goal is to use NFC cards (ISO 14443A) and smartphones (in card emulation mode) as access keys. Specifically, I want to ensure the security of the system beyond just reading the UUID of the card. I aim to read encrypted data from the card instead.I should mention that I'm quite new to NFC technology and don't have extensive knowledge of NFC standards, NDEF messages, and related concepts. My main questions:How can I enhance the security of my NFC access control system?I want to read encrypted data from the NFC cards rather than just the UUID. What are the best practices for encrypting and securely storing data on NFC cards? How can I record an encrypted message on an NFC card? Are there any specific methods or tools that I should use to write encrypted data to the card? How can I ensure that this data can be read securely by the system? How can I achieve this using the R

I use 2048 PPR encoder for speed control. It work well. But if I change the motor mode from speed to position control, something goes wrong. If we select Z signal for shaft zero alignment, the code after reset belowMC_StartMotor1();while (MC_GetAlignmentStatusMotor1() !=TC_ALIGNMENT_COMPLETED);it will get the motor speed to maxAnyone knows the reason why. Thanks

Hello, I am trying to debug my vcp application (uses STM32F103CBT6), but when I start a debug session the COM port does not work. When not debugging, just uploading a new code, the cdc communication only works after a power reset. I modified my custom board: added transistors to the DP pull up resistor to be able to disconnect it from 3v3 with code, but it does work, it won't reenumerate the device. When debugging, CDC_Control_FS() never get called.the function looks like this: I tried everything i can foud on the internet, but nothing worked.I have also read this: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/usb-cdc-dont-work-in-debug/m-p/464797The USB variables when the communication is not working:and the registers:

I am using the SDMMC1 interface without an SD card, utilizing only the data lines. Therefore, the CMD line is not needed, and I have deactivated the CMD pin. However, the HAL_SDMMC library sends CMD data and expects a response from the SD card, causing errors.Even though I have commented out all the sections related to response error handling, it still does not work. Is there a way to use only the data lines and deactivate the CMD line?Thank you for your assistance.

Hi everyone, I am currently using the VL53L8CX for people counting. However, I have encountered an issue where occasionally, changing the data acquisition rate during the data collection process causes a disruption and prevents further data acquisition.1. How can I dynamically change the acquisition rate during the data collection process?2. How can I dynamically change the integeration time during the data collection process?
