Hi, I am looking for a spice model for this mosfet (preferably one that runs stable in LTSpice). Purpose is to do some simulations for a SMPS (detailed calculation during transients should be supported by the model). I did not find in STB60NF06 - N-Channel 60V - 0.014Ohm - 60A - D2APK StripFET(TM) II POWER MOSFET - STMicroelectronics (For some mosfets, it is available at this place). Is a model for this mosfet available? Herwig.

I tried: import/general/existing projects from workspace, thenchoose nucleo-l452re/examples/gpio/pgio_iotoggle,I get the whole file structure, get my main.c, see the file, however, the "hammer" is greyed out. Cannot be built. What is wrong with these examples? (b.t.w. building my own littlle projects with cube-mx works like a charm)

Hello, I'm new to STM nucleo boards. Got my hands on the p-nucleo-usb002 usb type c evaluation board. I tried to import the demo projects to cubeIDE and it doesnt seem to build. I'm missing out something. Please help! The project files are as in the screenshot below. Thanks,

Hi!!!I am want to implement Emulation of EEPROM for STM32F401CCU6 Controller which is having 256kb of flash memory. but not sure of how exactly that i have to use it. I have downloaded X-CUBE-EEPROM software but in that there is no any project related to STMF4 series for reference. Can anyone provide me an example code for STM32F401 series controller.Thank you, regards,ANIL.

Hi all I am doing the research and development for a home energy management system (EMS) for smart grid applications and my prototype is in the early stage of development. My prototype is tested working fine with Ethernet IPv4 (TCP/IP). However, the IoT technology requires it to work with IPv6. Could anyone please share me a sample code for IPv6? Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,I am new to the STM32 platform and will be using it to prototype an embedded controller.  I ordered an STM32H7S78-DK Discovery board since it had all the necessary IOs available and included a touchscreen display.  However, I also need Bluetooth communication.  I found the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A2 and X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 Nucleo Bluetooth expansion boards; will these work with the Discovery board?  The datasheets only mention STM32 Nucleo compatibility, but the expansion boards use the Arduino UNO R3 connector, which is present on the Discovery board and I imagine has a compatible pinout.  I might be misunderstanding how the expansion board connects...If neither of these will work, is there another way for me to add Bluetooth functionality to the Discovery board, or am I better off obtaining a Nucleo board and developing the Bluetooth functionality independently? Thanks in advance.

i am using stm3210e eval board. It has NAND flash memory of 512 Mbit and I am trying to read data from it but it gets inside hard fault handler. although i am able to read the device IDBelow is the codeNAND_IDTypeDef nand[1]; HAL_NAND_Read_ID(&hnand1,nand); uint8_t read[10] = {0}; NAND_AddressTypeDef addr = {0,0,0}; HAL_NAND_Read_Page_8b(&hnand1,&addr,read,1); the ioc file configuration

Hey ST Employees!as I start a new project using the TouchGFX Designer, i noticed that there is some helpful feature missing:At the moment it is not possible to set some global colors just as it is possible for texts. Especially when using multiple screens and containers which contain e.g. box-widgets for background colors it would be great to use pre-defined colors. A big advantage would be, that you are able to change a background color used many times by just changing the pre-defined color.Just a small suggestion on how to accommodate the color definition in the TouchGFX Designer :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:I would love to get some feedback!

Hello,I am looking for a low power STM32 MCU that can transmit 2.4GHz RF signals. Since STM32WBA and STM32WB support bluetooth, can it be used to transmit raw 2.4GHz signals as well as bluetooth. It is used to communicate with a cnc controller.

I have a custom board with a STM32H730ZBI use a LCD 1024x600 controlled by LTDC.Here is the pinout :here is the config :When executing code :I break just after the HAL_LTDC_INIT function.I should have a white screen (R=255, G=255, B=255)But I have a strange color !So I testes each bit of R[7..0] G[7..0] B[7..0] by modifying register : BCBLUE, BCGREEN and BCREDEvery bit works exceptLCD_R7, LCD_B7, LCD_B6 and LCD_B4Of course, my first thinking is a hardware problem..... but noI focus on LCD_R7 :1st test:If I change LCD_R7 pin on PC4 in source code to OUTPUT_PP instead of ALTERNATE and set it to 1, the LCD draw the red background (I set all others bits to 0) => the color is 0x800000==> So no hardware problem and LCD is OK2nd test:I move the LCD_R7 from PC4 to PG6, and the LTDC drive LCD_R7 correctly==> So LTDC can drive LCD_R7 on PG6 (pin 91) but NOT on PC4 (pin 44)Why those 4 pins are not drive correctly by LTDC on STM32H730ZB ?

Hi,On a custom board using STM32H730ZB, I try to use QUAD SPI flash memory. Here is the CubeMX config :In MX_OCTOSPI1_Init function, I break on HAL_SPI_INIT functionThis function come from pack STM32H7 version 1.11.2In line #415 of stm32h7xx_hal_ospi.c, the code should modify DCR1 register with this values : You can see the DCR1value is 0x0After executing the MODIFY_REG() macro, the DCR1 register remain at zero. What can be the issue ?I tried exactly same code with STM32H723 DK and register is update successfully.

1. [Part Number] STM32G474RET2. [Environment] CubeMx on custom board3. [Schematics] NA4. [Details]  The function "HAL_FDCAN_GetTxFifoFreeLevel"  always return 0, Tx FIFO cant be cleaned, but my can bus is in error-active status, TEC is 0, REC is 0 5. [Expected behavior] The messages in Tx FIFO should be cleaned normally 6. [How to reproduce] Keep sending a CAN FD message every 140us by function "HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ"7. [Occurrence] Maybe 1 time per hour, maybe not happen a whole day. 8. [Sanity checks] can bus is in error-active status, TEC is 0, REC is 0

Hello everyone, I'm a beginner in the FDCAN field with STM32. I'm trying to establish communication between two custom boards equipped with the same CAN transceiver. The mode is normal FDCAN. Here's the configuration of the FDCAN module for completeness: static void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) { hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 16; hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg2 = 1; hfdcan1.Init.StdFiltersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.ExtFiltersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.TxFifoQueueMode = FDCAN_TX_FIFO_OPERATION; if (HAL_FDCAN_Init(&hfdcan1) !

Hello everybody! There is a question on bluetooth which I would love to explore. The point is, some time ago I developed a navigation device for visually impaired people, that had a pair of mikes, a pair of headphones and a DSP. Everything was more or less okay, but the headphone wire definitely didn't add to the convenience of use, so it would be nice if I could connect any bluetooth headphones to the device I made. Although I have experience connecting an SPP module to MCUs (lot's of information, connection via UART - easy), I know nothing about bluetooth audio. The task is, my device must be the "master", it should be able to connect any bluetooth headphones to itself and then send a stereo audio signal to the headphones. Is it possible to use a WB55CG module for that? Is there a built-in audio stack in the WB55CG dongle? It seems that the BM83 module can do what I need, but the price of the development board is manyfold out of my current range, besides I do love the s

Hello,I'm currently considering using STWLC38.I have a question about connecting unused pins. How should unused pins be handled?(GPIO, SCL, SDA, INTB, VS, etc.) Regards,Ryoma

Hello, I am trying to create a new STM32 baremetal project for STM32MP131Axx. Errors occurred when to build the project that ADC2 is enabled by using STM32CubeMX.'ADC1' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'ADC2'? stm32mp13xx_hal_adc.c  line 2786'ADC1_COMMON' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'ADC2_COMMON'? stm32mp13xx_ll_adc.h  line 1970 STM31MP131Axx has only ADC2 but the FW package seems to expect the definition of ADC1 exists. I avoid these errors by modifying "stm32mp131axx_ca7.h" as below since I though it is better not to change "stm32mp13xx_hal_adc.c" and "stm32mp13xx_ll_adc.h" because they are common files for STM32MP13 series.#define ADC1 ((ADC_TypeDef *) ADC2_BASE) #define ADC1_COMMON ((ADC_Common_TypeDef *) ADC2_COMMON_BASE) #define ADC2 ((ADC_TypeDef *) ADC2_BASE) #define ADC2_COMMON ((ADC_Common_TypeDef *) ADC2_COMMON_BASE) I would be appreciated if you could explain the better way to avoid these erro

Hi all, For several days I have been trying to send and receive something via CAN, but I am unable to do so on the Riverdi LCD board. I read two posts here with similar problems and instructions and videos from ST, but it did not solve my problem. CAN still does not work in normal mode. I tried too on loopback mode STM board: >>  Riverdi board  On the second board with nucleo 64, I made a simple program that sends 8 bytes and works correctly. But riverdi board send like this Now FDCAN set is to 40Mhz and this is code fdcan.c:           void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) { hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; //hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_NO_BRS; //hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_EXTERNAL_LOOPBACK; //I try too hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPresca

I am working in STM32F103C8T6, in that PA11/PA12- CAN RX/CAN TX pin connected with MCP2551's CTX and RTX.  using DB 9 connector i cannot able to see the CAN data using ST-LINK V2. Kindly help me

I have a CAN Network with several nodes. Each nodes sends only a ACK when the message was ment for it. Lets say I have nodes A, B and C.Node A wants to send the message with ID 0x5. Node B ignores this message. Node C accepts this message (sends Ack). But currently, Node B is sending a burst of messages with ID 0x4.What I have learned so far is, that I must have "Automatic Retransmission" on, else in this scenario, when Node A is trying to send the message and is loosing the Arbitration phase, it deletes the message. With "Automatic Retransmission" on, it sends the message as soon as the bus is free again. Now the problem: Supose now node C gets disconnected from the network. With "Automatic Retransmission", node A spams the bus forever, since there is no Ack for the message. Now no message with higher ID than 0x5 can be sent anymore.I want that node A resends the message after it lost in Arbitration phase, but that the bus does not get spammed forever if there is no Ack. How can I achi

I'm working on page 30 of the STM tutorial for the B-G474E-DPOW discovery kit at this linkhttps://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00706304-buck-current-mode-with-the-bg474edpow1-discovery-kit-stmicroelectronics.pdf I get this warning when I try to follow the directions  Can someone explain how to fix this so I can move to the next step in the tutorial.I've tried looking up codegen in the reference manual and also how to manipulate ADC12.ThanksDave

Hi, i am looking for to use FDCAN by using GPDMA . I am using STM32H5 MCU for my application. it is not clear to me how can i use GPDMA with FDCAN. please guide me__PRESENT

Hello all,   I am trying to receive CAN frames from a BMS, each frame is sent every 100ms and i am running the MCU's clock frequency at 180MHz (max speed) for Nucleo F446RE. Unfortunately, i am missing some frames randomly and it makes my stateflow not working properly. The CAN filter is set to 0 everywhere so all the frames from the BMS can be handled. Does anyone know what i could do to solve the problem?   Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,A RF baudrate of 424 kbps with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A seems possible in the ST25R95 datasheet (page 15).I checked the SPI bus and this SPI frame is sent, as expected :controlcommandlength<Protocol><Parameters>...  sendProtocolSelectlengthISO/IEC 14443 Type ATx and Rx RFdataratePPMMDD0x000x020x050x020xA00x000x000x00There's no error code until I try to read if a tag is present :controlcommandlength<Data>...sendSendRecvlength  0x000x040x020x520x07wait for ST25R95 nIRQ_OUT ... then control    read...  master send:0x020x00...0x00ST25R95 response:0x0E0x86...0x00There I get 0x86 : "Communication error"*It works fine when "Tx and Rx RFdatarate" is 0x00 (106 kbps). I tested with SPI speed of 625 kHz, 1.25 MHz and 2.5 MHz (I know it's max 2 MHz for ST2595, but those speeds all works with the 106 kbps RF baudrate)So, how to get a RF baudrate of 424 kbps with the ST25R95 with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A?(other questions

Hi,I am looking for a MCU with BLE5 and audio. If BLE5 is not available with audio, then I will get compromised with Classic bluetooth. If such an MCU has signal processing capability then it will be an added advantage for me, so that I will not use another separate MCU for signal processing. Please suggest me a best suitalbe MCU which shall have Bluetooth (or BLE) with audio and signal processing.

Are there any wireless low power STM32 MCUs that support 2.4Ghz transmission? It is for a battery operated application.
